Staff are very knowledgeable in pointing you to the right directions of where the Target and the mall is (since we were driving). Breakfast was great. There is a wide range of cold and hot foods for you to choose from such as diy waffles with a range of dessert toppings (FOR BREAKFAST!) One down side about that though was that we are fairly used to recycling and composting our wastes but they only had one bin here for everything. I have stayed at this hotel before and there were no problems. This trip I wasn't so lucky. Prior to my arrival, I had to drop one of my nights so I called the hotel. I dropped the night and was assured it was all good. When I arrived, I didn't have a reservation as I was counted as a no show as my reservation was not changed. You are charged for the no show, which they credited back, but it's still pending refund in my account. This started a chain of events. They got me a room, but for o... Read more

We stayed here before, but this time, we really made use of their shuttle service. Since we caught a train from Portland, the Tukwila station was very close to the hotel and the shuttle picked us up really fast. Sure beats catching a cab to the airport to rent a car. We have in the past, taken the shuttle from the airport at night to the hotel, which was a lot less stressful than renting a car and driving late at night. This property probably would be more accurately rated as "Average Plus," if T/A had such an option. It's nice-looking but simply doesn't stand out in any way. We stayed here both before and following a recent cruise. Room 319 is a quiet, although smaller, corner room (most odd-numbered rooms face I-405). It all started when I arrived to find another customer complaining - now I learned the situation and the customer was in the wrong, but the professionalism of the staff at the hotel was less than stellar. Wouldn't give their name, was court and a little rude. My other issue was that the workout facility was not open until 6AM. We booked a King suite and was please with the size of the room. Although we didn't travel with our children, I would recommend this hotel for those with family. Breakfast was quite tasty with a large variety. There is also a shuttle to the airport and to the light rail station.

The hotel was used by us as a Park/Stay/Fly hotel. The room was very clean and the bathtub's drain worked well. (In the past I have stayed at hotels where I'd be standing in ankle deep water after a three or four minute shower so I always appreciate good plumbing!) The hotel staff here are all really helpful and also cheerful and friendly.

As most Embassy Suites/ Hampton Inn. Good easy access location. Lost of shopping/dining nearby. Older hotel but recently updated. Rooms are clean. We noticed a spilled beer in the elevator when we entered it around 11 in the evening. When we left around 10 the next morning it was still there. Staff was friendly. Paying for parking seemed a bit odd as we weren't in the middle of the city and it appeared to have plenty of parking all around.

We stayed one evening prior to a cruise from Seattle because of the rate compared to downtown hotels. We expected a clean room and a warm breakfast, and received that and more. We were picked up at the airport shortly after our arrival, no charge. We had picked a particular restaurant and we were shuttled there for no charge. We wanted to make a pre cruise wine stop and were shuttled there, no charge. In fact some staying at the hotel went downtown, of course "no charge". Finally they offer a tr... Read more

I stayed here for a week for a business trip. The staff was always kind. The fitness center was in an odd place on the first floor but it was sufficient for my cardio and free weight exercises. The complimentary breakfast has all you'd' expect and it was good. Room was nice. Nice walking trail behind the hotel that leads to a Subway close by.

The staff at this Hampton Inn were friendly & helpful generally & specifically, the staff running the breakfast room kept it all VERY clean & WELL stocked while maintaining a cheerful morning attitude. The hotel itself has a good location near the airport but perhaps a bit TOO close to the 405 freeway. Try to get a room that does NOT face the freeway due to noise & unattractive view. Decent outdoor pool (heated)which we enjoyed. Room was clean & attractive

First timer with Hampton Inn. Have stayed at Hilton properties before. Some remodeling had obviously been done and it was nice but the motel could use more. The location was marginal. Good for shopping but nothing really unique about location.

Stayed here three nights on business. Wi-Fi speed is among the best I have encountered. Nice desk area, even though room is a little cramped. Not sure why, but of all the hotels in this area, this one is the quietest in terms of the middle of the night train whistle. Gym is kind of small, and doesn't open until 6:00 AM, and you can't sneak in early (door has key lock). One warning is they have nonsmoking rooms that were recently smoking rooms, so when you sit in the desk chair or open the c... Read more

Shuttle provided to airport or shopping mall. Great location to stay the night before catching a flight. Very quiet. Nice breakfast. Easy access the I-405 to go north to downtown Seattle or to Bellevue. Would definitely stay again. Close to car rental companies on Grady Way.

It was wonderful staying in Hampton every time though this property rooms were slightly congested but had everything that a Hampton property should have. Breakfast is as usually good & service staff was friendly too. Overall good hotel.

Shuttle service from the airport. Kept our car parked there over the trip. We had a late flight in and a late check in. They allowed a noon checkout the next morning. The rooms are nicely appointed with attractive desk indirect lighting and hanging closet. Night stands with USB plug-ins. Breakfast was a nice layout but bland. The waffle press was a nice touch. Very clean. Polite staff. Saving it in my contacts.

My dad, brother, and sister arrived and all were checked into our rooms within five minutes. No problems with our rooms at all. The best thing about this hotel is how the breakfasts are run. I was impressed with that from the first moment and later found the guy who runs it is a retired Boeing executive chef. I was not surprised. The food available is typical but it is run so smoothly. My sister and I took the hotel van back to the airport upon checkout. We enjoyed the chat with the dri... Read more

the hotel was great, very clean, easy on and off the freeway, close to the STARFIRE Sports complex, close to the SouthCenter Mall - free parking and wifi as well as a good free breakfast that has hot and cold items and runs from 6am to 10am so you can get food earlier than most

The Hilton app would not allow me to check in and select my room. I like this brand for the ability of selecting my room in advance. The cost of room was nice as it was off season and the breakfast was really nice with good food options.

I stayed for 2 nights on a business trip at Southcenter Hampton Inn in Tukwila. There was a group of 10 of us staying at the hotel. The hotel is very conveniently located about 10-15 minutes from Seattle airport (SEA) and they offer a very nice free and efficient 7/24 shuttle service to the airport and surrounding areas close to the hotel. we called them from the airport and the shuttle arrived in 10 minutes and we were at the hotel in 10 minutes. They also gave us a ride to a nearby restauran... Read more

Hotel was in a great location. Easy to get to the shopping mall and light rail station. Staff was friendly, but room was very small and closet was small and hard to access. Pool was outdoors and covered for the winter. Wish it was available anyway. Rooms were clean and bed were firm and comfortable. Breakfast was very basic, but gave little choice on breakfast meats. Will explore other hotels in the area.

Airport shuttle, and they offer nearby shuttle as well. Breakfast items were tasty, clean lobby and rooms came with all the necessities. WiFi or Internet could have better speed in the room. Otherwise all over stay is good

Fine room and an excellent staff but lots of road noise from nearby I-405. Had problems sleeping at night and our room was on the opposite side of the freeway. Wish hotels like this would spend more money soundproofing.

This hotel is conveniently located, but it's not as nice as some of the other Hamptons that we stay at. It's quite old, and just not all that clean. It's not horrible, but it's not great... Hamptons are generally quite nice, like an Embassy or something, but this one is not.

This hotel needs to be judged for what it is, a reasonably priced accommodation geared to guests on a per diem. In that category it is very good. Look past the dull reception desk and youâ??ll find spotlessly clean rooms and common areas, friendly staff, a microwave and fridge in each room, USB power ports and a decent desk, free Wi-Fi and a nice breakfast, including hot items and an airport shuttle. Everything you need. Nothing you desire. No glassware, no brand name coffee in the room. Bas... Read more

Stayed the night here after attending a friends wedding. The staff was very friendly upon checking in. The room was clean, modern, and the furnishings were upscale and pleasant. The breakfast room is large and bright, and the breakfast was one of the best we have had at a hotel. Overall, a very nice visit, and a place I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends.
