The hotel is in a great location. You are within walking distance of many places and the park is right behind the hotel. It's a beautiful park that you can go walk around and see the waterfalls. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. The staff is nice as well. I utilized the business center on my stay and at first was unimpressed because I thought it was just two computers in the lobby without chairs but there is a room right next to those computer where you can sit down and get a few things ... I don't know how the staff could be so nice & friendly as they were super busy!!! It's an older hotel but nice...I would stay there again! Had free wifi

Stayed for 3 nights as part of a convention. This was also a festival time in Spokane, so was quite busy in the area. Check-in was very quick and friendly. Cookies of course. The hotel is nice enough overall, kept very clean despite the crowds. The room we had (12 floor) had a spectacular view of the river and surrounding area. The bathroom was clean, but definitely showing its age. The rest of the room seemed more up-to-date. Had a comfy chair, mini-fridge, coffeemaker. Beds were comfy. W... Read more

A night out (locally) was what we needed to feel relaxed. And, relaxed we did!!! The room was very comfortable, bed & pillows, size of room, and the corner room allowed us such gorgeous views of the Spokane River and of North Spokane. The staff was so welcoming and helpful and a special cookie treat hit the spot.

This hotel is located in a very convenient area in downtown Spokane. It is an older property but has been updated and quite comfortable. The bathrooms are a bit antiquated. The hotel breakfast served is exceptional. There is also a Spencer's restaurant on site that is quite good.

We chose the Hilton Double Tree in down town Spokane for several reasons: We have a lap dog, who goes everywhere we go; This trip I brought my family, who rarely accompany me, and we needed an upgrade hotel to accommodate my wife's comfort; The hotel location was very successful for our needs.

I almost always stay in Hilton hotels and really like DoubleTrees. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I had a king corner room with a great view of the river. The room was really nice but the bathroom was outdated and the tile around the bath spout was falling off( pretty much into the wall). There was probably lots of water damage and it looks like they tried to fix the tile at one point. I was unable to connect to wifi despite getting tech support (who wanted to change my phone settings). The rooms need updating from decades gone by. Overall a good place to stay. Clearly an older property that has been given some updates a while ago. Things are not as clean as they should be, especially at the price. Lot of stained, dirty and worn items. The bathroom looks as though it has not been remodeled since Nixon was in office. Retro or cheap, decide for yourself. Realize it is a convention hotel, and you get the idea.

The room had a nice view, close to walking and downtown area. It's very dingy. The shower, and bathroom sink water leaves a film on your skin. In other words, you can't get rid of the soap or film. They clearly have a 'soft water' problem that we had not experienced anywhere else. The prices in the attached hotel restaurant were out of sight high. The rooms are very comfortable, the bed was so pleasant that you won't want to get up in the morning. You'll just want to savor the moment. I found that the staff was more than helpful to go out of their way to make sure that ... Read more

Jeanette at the front desk worked hard to give us a perfect room for our Anniversary. We had used Hilton Honors Points and were thrilled when we were given a suite overlooking the Riverfront Park. The room was spacious, clean, well-stocked and had very comfortable chairs for enjoying TV and relaxing in the room. We took advantage of the location, taking walks along the riverfront and even going on the Skyway's gondola over the falls. We never took our car out of the garage for the 3 days we wer... Read more

This hotel is awesome if you are planning on attending an event at the convention center this is the place! They have Spencer's for meals with colleagues and a direct connector to the conference facility, which is great if there are weather issues.

The Doubletree is in an excellent location in downtown Spokane right next to the river. Spencer's Resturant is a great steakhouse located inside the hotel. (Steaks are mouth watering) front desk staff was excellent. The only negative was the airport shuttle service. (And I heard they are about to start charging) I was working at the airport for the week and twice the shuttle took 3 phone calls and 45 minutes to pick me up. However, the front desk took very good care of me for the late shuttle.

Clean room, good cotton sheet and comfy pillows. Not to mention the most perfect cookie offered at arrival. Staff were responsive in every area which reflects good training and a desire to offer good service.

I stayed on the 10th floor which is a Hilton Honors floor. The room was barely okay. Very run down. Soiled carpet, peeling wall paper, odd sink faucet (hard to even wash hands), small old tub that didn't drain right or push water to shower correctly. Cleaning service neglected to restock wash cloths or remove a dirty glass that I was hoping to be gone. TV remote buttons barely worked. On the good note the bed was clean and comfortable. Not impressed at all.

After a two week road trip decided to splash out on a really nice hotel but we were very disappointed. The bathroom was smaller than most RV's, had peeling wallpaper and black mould. A complete waste of money.

We stayed at this hotel because it is centrally located with easy access to shops, restaurants, and green spaces (Riverfront Park and the Centennial Trail). Our room was well appointed and comfortable. The food and service in the cafe was excellent. We would recommend this hotel to others.

I stayed here for a conference and was pleasantly surprised how much I loved this hotel. The rooms were great, the staff amazing and the location gorgeous! They are located right by the river and a trail goes along it with a bridge right to the park. Close to everything!

Attentive staff, clean rooms, and the location is convenient to everything. Close to loads of restaurants within walking distance. A Chinese Lantern festival being held near by was awesome, and I was able to catch a concert at the venue next door.

I would recommend enjoying a drink in the lounge. Nice selection of beer and wine as well as the other. I would also recommend Sushi.com for a great place to eat. Great food and service. We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights and loved everything about it. The workout room was good, water and headphones provided. The pillows were really nice, not too puffy and stiff. The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of choices, homemade granola that was delicious and homemade breakfast parfaits and smoothies, Also the breakfast servers were exceptional. Just an overall excellent staff. We also used the valet every day, very efficient and quick. The front desk people were very helpful... Read more

Had a long and unbearable day with a long flight and made it to the doubletree past midnight feeling tired and groggy. As soon as i entered the hotel i was greeted by Karunya who was very jovial and uplifted my spirits right away! He made my long day feel like an afterthought and made the check in process truly enjoyable and the room was so spacious and clea . Thanks Karunya and the doubletree in Spokane!

My fave of all the DoubleTrees I stay at. Helpful friendly staff. Fridge in room and great beds. The only thing is I wish the small dining room and Starbucks were open when I went to the lobby at 3pm on a Sunday. The only other option was the expensive restaurant. But if you want to get out and walk around there are plenty of restaurants and sites to see like the big red radio flyer wagon slide in the park and not to far on foot are the falls. Really love the location! Oh and a little concerning... Read more

Noisy, loud, paper thin walls, fire alarm pulled during stay, bathrooms need updated, furniture needs updated. Not at all the quality we usually get when staying at a Hilton. Would recommend staying at The Grand hotel just across the street that is newer and nicer, and more convenient to downtown.

This Doubletree was conveniently located to several restaurants within walking distance but like several other Doubletrees I've stayed in recently it sadly needs updating. The service was fabulous and the room was very clean but it did have an odor of past smokers and the bathroom was vintage 1990s Formica. I trust their is an upgrade to this trusted brand in the near future. I rate the facility itself average. I rate the service Superior.

$15 to park started the evening off on the wrong foot, staff pleasant but almost robotic. The hotel was clean, but not updated to accommodate the USB and plug in world we live in. No fan in the bathroom was an interesting touch. Value was very fair for a dowtown location but you walk away feeling the level of warmth and caring was anything but genuine.

For being a Hilton property you expect a certain standard and this hotel falls short. Check in was fast and friendly, although I know others who were part of our convention (which booked out the entire hotel) were charged $50 for early check in. Parking is $15+ a day. Complimentary Wifi was pretty slow and cut out in certain areas of the hotel. My wife got stuck in one of the elevators over the course of our stay. Room itself was ok, beds and pillows were ok. Room design was pretty uninvi... Read more

Check in process was smooth, room was decent (other than the hvac fan didn't work as expected). Relatively quiet. Would most likely stay here again if I visit Spokane and the price is right. Interestingly, there was a fridge in my room but not a microwave. Check in was quick and pleasant and we got cookies. Room was clean but it was older looking on the inside. You could see the sprinkler water lines running along the ceiling. Bathroom was smaller than I would have liked but still worked. Beds were comfortable and we had a small view of part of the city. Hotel itself for the most part was quiet except for the occasional door slam, loud talking or running down the halls. There was also an occasional train outside. Our room had a microwave & fridge.... This hotel is in a great location in downtown Spokane. It's right near the park, which is filled with awesome things like a carousel, mini golf, and an IMAX. There are also many great shops and restaurants nearby. We stayed here while attending a football game at Washington State University about an hour or so away. It's a great alternative to staying in small hotels near the campus or driving further, into Idaho.
