We stayed here for the Paul McCartney concert at Key Arena. Only a 10 min walk! Very clean, friendly and quiet hotel! Take advantage of the roof top view at night, it's spectacular. Bring a bottle of wine, grocery store just 2 blocks away, and enjoy the view. Parking was around $18 but worth it. One of the cheaper parking costs for Seattle hotels. I recommend getting there earlier, even if you can't check in, for a parking spot. Secure parking, you need the room key to get in. They are accomadat... Read more

We didn't need our car all weekend as everything was so convenient & close in this neighborhood. Very close to Key Arena, Seattle Center with the Space Needle, Emp museum and the monorail to downtown. We took in the Star Trek exhibit at the EMP and enjoyed a film at the SIFF Uptown theater right across the street from our hotel. Within a one block radius are numerous excellent restaurants and the Metropolitan market which is open 24 hours also has great food. The hotel charges $18 per night for ... Read more

From check in to check out, I had an extremely pleasant stay. The front desk staff were all so sweet and helpful and I had a great view of the Space Needle from my 6th floor room. I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel was very clean. Good supply of Starbucks coffee, tazo tea and popcorn in the room. Rooftop view is a plus. Good supply of coffee and water with lemon in the lobby. Great location - if you start craving for food - just go out and almost everything is just around the corner - pho, burgers, supermarket, pizza and more!

Very clean, professional staff and a secure parking garage maker this one of my new favorite places to stay. I got a good deal on a room by calling the hotel direct. The front desk was very helpful. I also really liked the rooftop hangout.

Great location, service, quality and comfort. Highlights included the rooftop lounge with beautiful views of the water and free bike rentals. It was an easy walk to the Space Needle and Seattle Center. There are dozens of restaurants and a grocery store all within a few blocks.

My sister and I stayed here at the start of a Washington trip. The room was very comfortable and clean. We particularly liked that there was a kitchenette for which they would supply some dishes so you could microwave something, etc. Coffee and cold water in the lobby was another plus, as was the location.

I recently stayed here with my wife. The hotel is in a great location. Perfect for the main tourist spots, walking distance to the needle. The hotel was very clean and they have free Starbucks for those that are coffee fans plus there is a Starbucks attached to the hotel. The staff were very friendly and accommodating as well. We had a lovely time.

Recently spent 3 days here with my teenage son while we explored Seattle. This gem of a hotel is a charming find. The hotel staff were all very pleasant and helpful. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and the bathrooms were nicely sized. Everything was in pristine condition. The room had a kitchenette which allowed us to have cold drinks on hand. There is a Safeway grocery story just across the street. We were only a short (less than 10 minutes) walk to Seattle Center, the EMP Museum and ... Read more

I stayed at this hotel for two nights in June 2016. Hotels in Seattle are very expensive in June and this one was about $225 a night which is among the least expensive decent hotels I could find. I was pleasantly surprised. The room was a bit small and not fancy but it was clean and comfortable. There is a rooftop deck with a great view of Puget Sound and the sunset and the hotel will provide you with wine glasses so you can sit up there and have a glass of wine. Nice. The room had a refrigerato... Read more

Our room was a little small however did have a microwave and fridge. Quick service with issue of TV. Window faced other rooms across open atrium like. Starbucks connected to hotel downstairs. A few blocks from one end of Seattle center-opposite end of space needle. Able to walk to Seattle center monorail that will take you to Westlake shopping center. From there you can walk down a few blocks to Pike's place.

I stayed at this Seattle hotel for 9 days on an offsite work-related trip. While the hotel did not offer the amenities that are available to larger hotels, I did enjoy my stay very much. The hotel is located conveniently along Queen Anne N, a nice walk to the boardwalk, Pike Market, the Space Needle, etc. The hotel and my room were very clean and the staff were friendly. The property is not difficult to find for cabs and Uber drivers. Room had a kitchenette and a sizeable bathroom. Desk wa... Read more

Great location: a few blocks to Space Needle, Chihuly Garden and Glass, and Seattle Center (where we took the Monorail to downtown Westlake Station). Easy access to many restaurants. Bus #13 also stops near the hotel. Area was safe and quiet. A cab ride from SEA airport to the hotel was about $50 one-way; public transportation was about $5 one-way. Staff: friendly, helpful with information for restaurants, transportation and attractions. Patience in handling our billing request. Prompt to help... Read more

I stayed at the Mediterranean with my husband and 18-yr-old son for three nights. We were a little worried that we would be too far from the downtown attractions. It turned out to be the perfect hotel for us. The hotel itself is clean and comfortable, the staff is very helpful and friendly. There is a Starbucks attached to the lobby. We walked or took a bus to attractions and then came back and visited one of the many great restaurants close to the hotel. Our room was clean, but nothing special... Read more

This hotel was so quaint. The hotel staff was extremely helpful. The roof top terrace was my favorite part of the hotel. The location was perfect to the space needle and many restaurants. The only drawback was that it was quite pricey.

We stayed here recently and had a very pleasant experience. We were allowed to check in early on a Monday and our room was clean with a comfy bed. The bathroom is large and spacious but I found it a little odd that the toilet seat had no lid. Location wise, this hotel is great - there are many good and interesting food options within walking distance, plus you are only a short bus/taxi/Uber ride or longish-but-doable walk away from Pike Market, Space Needle, and Olympic Park. Parking is reason... Read more

We traveled to Seattle with teenagers. This hotel was perfect. Rooms are large, beds comfortable, shower and bath roomy, and service excellent. Close to everything, Space Needle, Glass Museum, EMP museum a short 10 min walk. Starbucks in the lobby. Grocery store 1/2 block away. Kitchenette was great to have our breakfast in room. Hotel I often stay at when I'm on business in Seattle was too pricey for summer stay so stayed at the Mediterranean. The lobby is nice and the front desk staff very very helpful--no question they couldn't answer and all their suggestions for things to see and do and where to eat were right on the mark. The rooms were clean and there are fridges and micro-wave and snacks. One of the best features is the roof deck-great views and people brought wine and appetizers up there and just relaxed-ther... The hotel staff was very nice and friendly. The rooms were very clean but very dated. Nothing plush about the rooms or bathrooms. Basic amenities including a little fridge and micro. No restaurant. It was not in downtown but very close to the Seattle Center witch has the Space Needle and and other museums. If I went back to Seattle, I would stay downtown. After searching TripAdvisor for a well priced, well located Seattle hotel with parking, we couldn't have been happier with a our selection of the Mediterranean Inn. We arrived in late morning and were delighted to find a room ready and convenient underground parking with an elevator to our room. We had two rooms here separated by an overnight trip. Our first stay was in a courtyard facing queen bedroom and the latter stay was in an outside facing king room. We were definitely happier in the outside facing room. The rooms have a small kitchenette, which is convenient. The rooms are basic but clean and comfortable. The Mediterranean Inn is the quintessential Seattle hotel. It combines the historic with the modern. The staff is courteous and knowledgeable of Seattle life and night life. When staying here, you are close to downtown without being in the heart of the noise.

This hotel was $50 less than one of the name brands downtown, and has more character. Front desk staff were very helpful. Mecca diner across the street has great breakfast. My room faced an inner courtyard, which meant I had to keep the shade drawn for privacy, but it was 100% quiet, which is hard to find in a city.

The location of this hotel was great! We were able to park the car and walk to the major attractions. The parking accomodations are not the greatest. Unless you have a small or medium size car, you will not be able to move around in the parking area. We bottomed out several times and had a hard time finding a space to park with a Lincoln MKS. The hotel entrance is nice enough, but when you get to the room it is a let down. The room we stayed in was in need of serious updating, however it is nice... Read more

Overall we were happy with this hotel for the price we paid. Ideally, we would have preferred a hotel with a pool and larger rooms but it was not in our budget. The rooms were small and we had 2 double beds, which were not that comfortable. The service was excellent.
