My husband and I just enjoyed a long weekend stay at the Hotel Vintage. Great boutique hotel, rooms were beautiful (and clean!), decor was awesome and bed was super comfy. Really enjoyed the nightly wine tasting hour, learning about local wineries, and on some evenings live music. Definitely recommend. When in Seattle, I will always try to book at Hotel Vintage!

I recently stayed three nights at the Vintage whilst on business in Seattle. The location in downtown is perfect. The rooms really nice and spacious. I was working all day from my room and felt very comfortable. The restaurant in the hotel is amazing. And they do a nice wine happy hour every day where you can sample local Washington wines. But what makes the experience great is that the staff is genuinely focussed on helping you where they can. Obviously many places pay their staff to give excel... Read more

This is a beautiful hotel in the financial district of Seattle. Very close to Pike Market, shopping and public transportation. Hotel staff including the Valet are super friendly and go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and important during your stay. The hotel also hosts a wine hour which is fun to meet people staying at the hotel and enjoy Washington wines. When we arrived Monday night, Deanna greeted us with a warm smile and helped us pick out a place for late night dining. She eve... Read more

The Hotel Vintage does a great job of putting the guests first. It was clear if you needed anything you just needed to ask. The valet knew us by name and always had our car ready when we needed it. The rooms are nicely decorated but a bit small if you have more then two people staying in one room. We did not so it was great. Beds were comfortable and place was very clean. If you're considering this property I found it to be a great value. Location was good as well.

Rooms are nice, fairly spacious. Staff was friendly. We had to call a technician for AC repair but he was prompt and courteous. Restaurant was first-rate. Hotel is located on a tight, busy corner, and our valet had difficulty securing taxis for us. Location is good for some destinations, a bit of a hike for others.

Great Hotel with staff that is very friendly and very helpful. Miss Jacque Lee greeted us at the front desk and is exceptionally helpful and friendly. Room we had was great with extremely comfortable bed and all the modern amenities needed. Great location within short walking distance to waterfront attractions and shopping. I found the hotel location easy to get to from freeways and highways. This Hotel is a great place to stay for business or vacation.

We stayed at this hotel to celebrate Seattle Pride, unfortunately it was one of the scariest times I have ever stayed in a hotel. We booked a room from Friday June 24th through Monday June 27th, around 5:30am Sunday morning, three men entered our room with their cell phone flashlights on. We both jumped out of bed screaming what are you doing in our room? We threw them out of our room. Even though this is a chain hotel (Kimpton) it really had the uniqueness of a boutique hotel. "Vintage" is obviously a nod to the local wineries of Washington. Yes, a wine-themed hotel. What a fabulous idea! Very tastefully done. I really had no idea what to expect with this hotel as I booked as a last minute "mystery hotel" with hotwire.com. Was very pleasantly surprised. We even walked to the Needle where we had a dinner reservation, only took about 20 minutes. There is also a 7 Eleven and a huge convenience store two blocks down which also had alcohol to purchase. Daily wine happy hour is a nice touch, but the lobby is so small, it is a bit awkward to remain there. After meeting a lot of nasty people in Seattle, the Vintage was able to change my mind about the whole city. The staff of the Vintage was that great. However, the rooms were terrific too. I don't love boutique hotels because they often sacrifice convenience and, frankly, common sense for a funky look, or making a room out of a broom closet. The Vintage is no such place. It's a boutique hotel that offers large rooms, terrific location, and a gym; but does not sacrifice-well- anything.

The Hotel Vintage was a great place to stay from the moment we walked into the door. The hotel staff was welcoming and super friendly. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The staff personalized our stay with wine and snacks in our room when we arrived. The restaurant, Tulio, was amazing. The staff was super knowledgeable about the menu. Everything we ate was fantastic, especially the sweet potato gnocchi. The downtown location is perfect. We were able to walk or take pub... Read more

We blew in to Seattle for a quick trip to visit some family whilst we were overseas from Australia. We got a warm welcome from the front desk staff, and were delightfully surprised by Oreos and milk beautifully presented in our room. We traveled with our 2 teenaged kids and the deluxe queen with the sleeper couch suited us just fine for one night. The hotel is pet friendly, kid friendly and wine friendly and all around friendly. Centrally located to all the sights and easy to get to. We missed h... Read more

Came to stay at the Kimpton for a conference in Seattle, and the hotel was super. Well located, luxurious and spacious rooms, and Sasha at the front desk went above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care of. Will definitely be back.

We had a king corner room with big windows on two sides which made the room very bright and pleasant, and we had a view over the modern library building. The amenities very great, high quality, the bed very comfy. The staff were just the right balance between helpful without being all over you. We loved their wine tasting hour every evening in the small cosy lobby. The clients met and shared stories of their travels while being introduced to a lovely wine. Hotel Vintage is well located - just kitty corner to the Seattle Public Library and down the street South from all the major shopping and the 5th Avenue Theatre. Parking is a whopping $42/night so I suggest (if you're budget conscious) looking just East up the hill on the freeway overpass for parking. The staff is friendly - they'll answer any questions and requests cheefully. The hotel restaurant, Tulio, is known in Seattle for being good, slightly upscale Italian Rooms are quite small, coz... I traveled to Seattle with my Husband for a long weekend celebrating his birthday. Having had a nice experience at a Kimpton hotel in DC years ago, I thought I'd give the Seattle location a try. When I booked on the Kimpton website, I thought I'd mention the special occasion in the notes section. I honestly didn't expect much to come of it, but thought it would be nice to see if the hotel took note of it. Check-in was super fast and welcoming. The check-in hostess did in fact wish my husband... Read more

Nice boutique in downtown Seattle. Convenient to shopping, restaurants, bars and places of interest. A short walk from the light rail system - easy to get to from airport. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean, comfortable, and nicely appointed. Not large, but big enough. The lobby is small which made for a cozy manager's wine reception.

Service was impeccable. Valet was polite, held entrance door for guests. Friendly staff. I received a corner room upgrade and chocolate with wine on arrival to celebrate my birthday which accompanied by a hand written note wishing me well. Who does that?! Attention to detail. The hotel is very convenient, within a block and half to the 5th Ave.Theater. There is an adjoining restaurant Tulio's, service was good there also. Our family spent one evening at this hotel. I'd stayed here last approximately 20 years ago, and had really enjoyed the historic nature of the room decor. The good: - Kimpton. I love Kimpton hotels, and try and stay at them whenever possible. - Staff: The staff were very attentive The not-so-good: - Location: We typically stay north of this part of town, either closer to the Westlake Mall, or South Lake Union. This hotel is right in the centre of town so it is ideal for walking to all the major sites in Seattle. It is also a pickup point for the bus tour guides in the city. Tulio restaurant next door is a nice option if you want to stay local for dinner.

Not only is the Kimpton Hotel Vintage in Seattle in a great location -- within walking distance of other hotels, the Piers, the Pike's Place Market, various restaurants, etc. -- but they have an AMAZING staff! From hotel reservations to check-in, during my stay and check-out. Adam, the front office manager, and Caitlin far surpassed my expectations! They were so friendly and cheery! Because of them, my week-long stay at this hotel for work was great -- by far the best hotel stay I've had! A week... Read more

We chose this hotel for the location. It was within walking distance of a conference as well as Pike Market and a bunch of restaurants and lots of shopping. We easily walked to Westlake Center where we caught the monorail to the Space Needle and to the street car to take to Lake Union. Plus it was a short uber ride away from Safeco Field and Century Link Field. The only issue was that downtown can get kind of sketchy, especially in the evening, and there is a WMCA right next door. And the bed was comfortable. But, the room was very cold. My teeth were chattering. I could not get the thermostat to work and couldn't reach anyone. I was travelling to Seattle on business for 10 days, by myself. My colleagues in Seattle booked me into this hotel so I had no prior knowledge or experience of the Kimpton chain or this hotel. I did have a little look before flying out and can honestly say I was bowled over on arrival. The check in staff could not help enough and were so friendly. I adore the Kimpton properties. Each and every one is unique! But the level of service at all of them is fantastic. The staff make your stay incredible. They helped us print our Seahawks tickets for the game and then sent a bottle of wine to our room. We love to go to wine hour at this hotel. You always meet fascinating new people. John Cusack was dining there with his sister Joan during our stay! And the Seahawks WON!

This was our first stay at this property. The overall hotel was nice. We had booked the basic queen room which was probably our failing as it was very small, really little room to open cases. The overall room was good, maintenance as fairly good and it was clean. All the staff were very helpful and courteous. Would return, but I think there are proabably better options

The room was nice, with tiger striped robes and a yoga mat, and a large, comfortable bed. The floor was quiet and I didn't hear much from other guests. Negatives would be that the bathroom counter, though nice to look at it, doesn't stretch to the wall and there wasn't enough room to place all my toiletries. The shelf under the sink had gaps so everything fell through. I ended up having to spread everything out on the floor while getting ready in the morning. It was tight and awkward. Another ne... I shared a room on the 12th floor with 2 friends, so we had a little pull out sofa. It was very nice - plenty of room for the 3 of us. I arrived late due to airlines delays and they were so sympathetic, that they offered me a complimentary glass of wine! The lobby always smelled great too, maybe some type of essential oils in the air system. The elevators were fast. They always had fresh ice water available and hot coffee in the mornings. It was in walking distance of the market.

This is a nice & stylish hotel with a friendly & professional staff and relaxed atmosphere. The hotel room (queen bed) was spacious enough for solo use, it was clean and comfy, and I was provided free in-room wifi, which worked just well for me as I was visiting Seattle for business. The hotel has a good location, being within walking distance to most of the venues & sights in the Seattle downtown area.

3-night stay at a Premiere Room on the 2nd floor, which, because of the hilly nature of Seattle's city center, became the 1st floor. I mention it because I don't quite relish the idea of pedestrians being able to look (or worse) in to your hotel room. While the curtains and the blackout shades certainly help with respect to privacy, I would nevertheless have appreciated a room on a higher floor. What a great place to stay, hotel staff goes above to help out in any way. This was my first time in Seattle. I was looking for a cab to go to Kingston. To take a cab from this hotel would have been around $400.00. They told me to take the ferry over to Bainbridge and get a cab there which saved me $300.00. I also had room service the staff was wonderful and the food was outstanding. Highly recommend.

The hotel us well placed and you can walk everywhere downtown from the hotel. With regards to space it is limited (the foyer is small) and our room was not huge with a very traditional small bathroom quite often found in Kimpton hotels. Generally there was nothing wrong with the hotel. The view was not great (car park and YWCA next door). For some reason we did not sleep that well in the hotel.

The Vintage is large enough to have everything you need but small enough to feel attentive and comfortable. Room was very up-to-date and well-furnished, with lots of light. Staff was very helpful.
