I stayed at the Vintage during a business trip in Feb 2017 and walked to the convention center for a conference I was attending. The hotel is very nice! Great warm feel starting in the intimate lobby with fireplace. The rooms were new with a New York style vintage feel. Great decor. Nice 10' ceilings. Well laid out and everything you need and want in an upscale establishment! Would highly recommend and look forward to returning the next time I'm in Seattle!

I should have listened to the bad reviews.. When we first arrived the lady at the front desk was snippy and very rude. (Night of feb 4). We also noticed her talking SUPER loudly later on in the night on her cell phone obviously making a personal call. In our room the bed was super uncomfortable and the pillows were hard. The ac didn't work(other reviews had warned us about this), so I walked down to the lobby and asked if something could be done because it was a sweltering 80 degrees in our room... Read more

Iā??ve stayed in quite a lot of Kimpton properties and have never been disappointed. The Vintage Seattle is no exception. * Great location near shops and restaurants. * Friendly staff. * Nicely appointed room. * Free wine reception every day. * Tulio restaurant served wonderful appetisers and drinksā?¦. Plus a great breakfast. Really nice place to stay.

Stayed here for a short business trip. The standard room was a decent size with a largish bathroom. Very clean, comfortable and a nice decor. Great location - close to all the good shopping places and not too far from the bay. Breakfast wasn't included in my package. And there was no tea/coffee maker in the room :( Had breakfast at their restaurant once - it was very good but a tad expensive. There's a small, very basic place at the YMCA next door which seem to be very popular with guests for... Read more

I stayed here for a business trip. This hotel is well run with great service and close to Pike's Place, the library, Benaroya Hall. I checked in early and was glad to find my room ready. I was a little surprised they charge extra for a room with two beds. The rooms are nicely furnished and a decent size, but the bathroom felt tight and outdated. I was able to hear plumbing noise throughout the morning and woke up a few times. The daily wine tastings were a nice touch and they always had water on... Read more

Overall good hotel but few cheaps made my stay unenjoyable. Hotel is decent overall but you have to request few housekeeping things explicitly which are in general already and should be present withing the room. One thing I am most disappointed by is that they have free wine hours every day, which I missed and the receptionist was very kind to give me a free wine voucher that can be redeemed in their onsite and in-house restaurant. However, the servers at the restaurant are very unfriendly and r... Read more

Pros: Friendly and welcoming staff, very comfortable lobby with nice fire, coffee in the morning and wine in the evening. Comfortable room with everything you might need. Good free wifi. Cons: Buzzing noise outside room. Maybe I was near the heating exhaust?

I am a fan of Kimpton in general, but the Hotel Vintage really impressed me on a recent 4 day stay. Every employee was genuinely friendly and helpful. The location is fantastic, two blocks from the tram, useful bus lines right in front, quick walk to downtown shopping, Pikes market, ferries, Chinatown, Pioneer Square. Capitol Hill is a little further, but still walkable, or a cheap cab ride. Be ready for the hills whichever direction you head though. Room was clean, with nice linens. Hotel was... Read more

I've stayed at the Monaco a few times and have been pleased, during those stays I dined at Tulio in this hotel and planned a dinner there this trip so booked at Vintage to avoid walking back to the hotel in the cold and have found a new favourite. A large group was checking in ahead of us and while there was a bit of a wait the staff at the reception desk were wonderful. We had a gorgeous room overlooking the library and a park and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Walking distance to everything so w... Read more
