We love the ambiance of this hotel. Very old fashioned but still very relaxed. We love the big bathrooms & big showers & very comfortable beds. We booked a corner room & we're happy about the wrap around windows & views. The bar staff here is very attentive & friendly. Conveniently located in the pioneer district quite close to everything.

Great old building. Quality large, well appointed rooms with all the necessary accoutrements. Extremely comfy beds. Hilton members will have access to free wi-fi. Very helpful staff and the hotel is close to a number of local restaurants and attractions. It's a long way from the airport to the centre of Seattle. Cab fares are approx $50 depending on traffic. Food/Drinks are relatively expensive. It's a fantastic building/hotel. If you get a chance, make it a date.

You can't beat this place...turn of the 20th century charm with updated rooms, amenities, etc. I have stayed here over 25 times for business in the past five years and it's my favorite hotel in the country in the Hilton/Marriott chains and price range. It simply can't be beat.

We stayed at the Arctic Club over the Memorial Weekend. The hotel was conveniently located around the corner from the Pioneer Square LINK station which made it easy to get to and from Sea-Tac airport. Pike market was only a half a mile walk. The hotel and room were clean and comfortable. It is not budget friendly, but it doesn't seem like many hotels in the city are. Overall it was a good place to stay.

Outstanding hotel that is convenient to everything. I would recommend staying here if you are looking for a clean room and great atmosphere. I used the hotel fitness was basic but adequate.

What a beautiful historic hotel! The rooms are very special with old details like the walrus door knocker, lampshades, frosted bathroom doors, and wonderful bed. The lobby bar has a casual, fun vibe- we only wish we were able to stay more than one night.

Superb hotel. Great location, great service and the themed decor is excellent through out, worth a stay. Short walk to Pike Place and the Space Needle. Valet parking is worth the price and the hotel is more than happy to assist. We arrived early and they stored our belongings and called once the room was ready.

This is a great hotel near Pioneer Square and the Columbia Center. Don't be confused by the Doubletree Name - this i s not your normal Doubletree ( although the warm cookies are there are checkin). The rooms and ambiance are very "old" Pacific Northwest.. The staff are courteous and helpful. There is a nice lounge on the lobby level and a restaurant on the 3rd street level. I have never eaten there. There are several fine eating establishments within a short walk . Note that this doesn't loo... Read more

When we checked in our corner room looked at large piece of machinery with no view: before bellman left, we called front desk and they gratuitously changed our room. Room is older but very nice, we loved the large tiled shower and bathroom. The location is less than a 1/2 block to the link/rail that can take you closer to pike market or connection to monorail and space needle.

We live in the Seattle area and frequently overnight in the city for events. This hotel is absolutely gorgeous and special, but none of that would matter if the service was poor. Well-- the service is exceptional, on every level. From the time you walk through the doors, until the time you leave. The bar/lounge/lobby area is beautiful and worth spending a hour or two exploring.

What an awesome hotel! Not too far from anything to do in the city, spent the 4th of July watching the fireworks from the Columbia Tower next door. The warm cookie upon arrival was a great touch! Everything was clean and pleasant, if I return to Seattle I will definitely stay here again. Only bummer is the cost of parking, but oh well! It's the city. Everyone was very professional, the food was great.

Very nice hotel. Great staff. Nice lobby seating area. Good and convenient restaurant. Great access to 3rd street buses right out the door. Just don't walk toward Pioneer Square or up 3rd street. Both have aggressive homeless. Walk down Cherry to 1st and you'll feel more comfortable. Able to give if you want, but not aggressively pursued.

We had many family and friends flying into Seattle for a wedding at a Pioneer Square venue. With the help of Andrea at the Arctic Club we were able to secure a block of rooms for our guests so that many of us were able to stay together for the weekend. She could not have been more helpful through the whole process. Our guests were very happy with the rooms, location and helpful staff. The lounge off the lobby was a great place to gather in the evenings and many ate breakfast together at Juno.... Read more

I can wholeheartedly recommend this charming old but very neatly renovated hotel. The rooms may be a bit small but that's just fine. They were roomy enough and very clean. One of the best hotel bars around. Excellent location close to downtown.

Street noise was terrible. Down the street from a shleter of some sort so there were frequent sirens. Cool lobbey and historical hotel, but be aware of the noise levels. I Would not recommend staying here.

The service here is exceptionally good and friendly. Everyone was very nice to us so I hesitated with this review. The decor is not to our taste at all but that's not what I took the points off for. To us, a stodgy and old fashioned throwback to a bunch of grouchy old men .... lol ... who's stern pictures cover the dark and stuffy lobby. The point busting problems for us start with the noisy hvac system and I do mean noisy. Each and every time that it came on or went off, we were awakened by wha... Read more

This place has it all. Even though the rooms are smallish, and a touch... um, getting that dated feel to the room, the amenities where in an abundance. All the way down to the French press coffee maker in the room. My view was of a construction sight, but it was okay for a build that is within walking distance of everything! The sky tower observation building is right beside this hotel! Go, be, do!

I love this hotel and found it very relaxing and nice. The ambiance and location were great, as were the staff. The only downside was the very expensive hotel food and drink, and basically nonexistent Wifi.

The overall stay in this hotel was okay. I am not one who appreciates the historical value that the hotel has to offer. The staff is amazing and I would say that if you are planning a trip to Seattle and are in the area near this hotel, take a look and see if they have availability. I think you will be happy.

My husband and I dropped off our son at college and decided to head to Seattle for a long weekend afterwards. Upon arrival a crazy kid driving his car cut in front of us at valet. He jumped out of his car where him and the other valet people proceeded to clown around for about 10 minutes. Finally he left and we were attended to. The hotel is beautiful, our room was beautiful and the bed is great however when it comes to service this hotel is batting zero. Saturday at 7 pm my husband went downst... Read more

Located in the financial district, about a mile or so walk to Pike Place Market and over 1.5 miles to the Space Needle. We didn't mind walking but it isn't conveniently located to the major sites unless you like a decent walk or want to take public transportation. There is no doubt that he lobby is lovely. It feels as though you are stepping back in time to a more elegant era. The rooms are nice, ours was spacious with a couch and nice large screen TV. The bathroom is fine but the water pressur... I have stayed at the Arctic Hotel for various occasions around 10 times over the past few years. The hotel is located in downtown, just a block from Columbia tower. The historic feel of the Arctic harkens back to Seattle's roots as the hub of the northwest's gateway to the frontier for trappers and miners. It's a very classy comfortable feel. If you want contemporary nouveau, this is not your place. I have always experienced friendly and attentive service in every way. The rooms not nicel... Read more

We went to this hotel due to a wedding that was being hosted there. Obviously it was expensive because of it's downtown location. When you walk in you are immediately hit with this old musky smell which seems to go along with it's old 1920's theme music and environment. The rooms aren't too bad except for the glass bathroom door which can be awkward at times. For the price I might look to a more modern hotel unless you are into that sort of thing.

My husband and I recently visited Seattle for the first time. I found this hotel online mostly by accident. I grew up in the hotel world so I love things that are different from the standard 'chain' hotels. We loved the Arctic Club! It was fun, quirky, historic, and the staff was great, everything we would want in hotel. The only problem is parking - especially considering how expensive the rooms are to begin with. We parked in the public parking garage directly behind the hotel thinki... Read more

I originally started staying at the Arctic Club for business since it was close to the office but now I stay here every time I come to Seattle. Using the Hilton Honors app makes it so easy to check in and select your room so you just walk in, they give you your room key a warm cookie and you're on your way. The gym they have is great, never crowded, and has just enough equipment for anyone's workout needs. The room service is amazing and the Polar Bar is the best when they have the fire going. ...
