We stayed at the Fairmont Olympic Seattle for a business/leisure trip in September 2016 for 3 nights. The rooms were clean and spacious. Since this trip was partial business, we did not book the hotel ourselves so cannot speak to the ease of that. Also, most of our interactions were with people related to the company I work for instead of actual hotel employees. Check in was a little bit difficult as many of our company arrived early and were told we would be able to check in within a few ho... Read more

Alaska airlines lost our luggage I can't praise the staff at the Fairmont Olympic high enough for their help in tracking it down including sending a car to the airport to pick our bags up. This coupled with a room upgrade made for a wonderful stay. Also the friendliness of the staff was outstanding.

We spent New Years Eve weekend with the family in a Deluxe Exec Suite on the 10th floor. Our girls are on the smaller side so the pull out sofa was perfect. Plus bc of the recent reno, or it was not used much, the mattress was quite firm and thick, comfy. Typical Fairmont bathroom, nicely furnished and spacious and the bedroom was nice too. Only downside was no view--- we were in 1038. Pool was great given the weather -nice to relax and get some fun swimming plus jacuzzi was nice and hot. ... Read more

The Fairmont Olympic Seattle is a beautiful hotel. The pool looked fun but we didn't have time to enjoy it. We ate at Shuckers, which was $$$ but delicious and also ordered room service for breakfast which was good too. We enjoyed walking around the grand ballrooms and lobby decorated with beautiful arched ceilings and carved wood walls. The hotel was built in the roaring 20s so it had an opulent and Art Deco feel. The staff was friendly and welcoming. We stayed in one of the updated rooms... Read more

A lovely hotel in a great location! Our room was fit for a queen, or king! Absolutely beautiful, and you couldn't want for anything. Bathroom has a light sensor for when you are headed that way in the night, 2 tv's, espresso maker with several choices plus rea, fridge. Lovely sitting room with couch, barn door closing off bedroom for quiet/privacy. Fantastic breakfast offerings!

We booked the Fairmont because it is the best hotel in town and known to be luxurious. We wanted a little getaway in town for the new year and we couldn't have picked a better place. I called in on the day of our stay to see if we could get an upgrade from our king bed room to a suite. For a mere $40 we were put into the Deluxe Executive King Suite and it was gorgeous. Large corner suite with sitting area with desk and mini bar (fully stocked -- but very expensive) as well as a Keurig and a sele... Read more

Every time I stay here I'm impressed with the employees. Hard to find people that are so good at their job and seem to enjoy it. From check-in to check out the staff is professional and friendly. The suits are beautifully done up. They are my favorite. Also make sure to spend time in the bar and listen to the piano player such a great time. I've even stayed here on New Year's eve and had a great experience the Fairmont is always impressive you won't regret a visit.

Formerly great Seattle hotel with excellent location and usually great staff service continues it's decline. The room "renovation" converted traditional and functional room ambiance to a dentist's waiting room. Tired, threadbare linens remain, however. Costs have risen, some more than substantially. Georgian Room now closed for dinner, likely a victim of the attempts to further "gussy up" it's already overpriced "haute" menu. Mishandled reservations, courtesy car unavailability, valet park... The Fairmont Hotel offers outstanding customer service in a beautiful old Seattle hotel. The hotel lobby and restaurants are ornate and old-world charming. Guest rooms have been updated, and are very comfortable. They offer extras such as free coffee in your room, fruit, and newspapers. The only draw back is that you must pay for internet access.

The Fairmont Olympic rooms have been recently renovated, and they are sedate, tasteful, and elegant. The reading lights in the headboards are a wonderful touch, as are the electric and USB outlets on the side of the nightstands and tables. The room was impeccably clean, and relatively new windows kept the room silent. The windows even open, if only a few inches. The room cleaning staff actually has rolling canvas cabinets, which they bring into the rooms - hence there are no carts blocking th... Read more
