We had a wonderful family weekend at the Kimpton Alexis Hotel!! The staff at the Alexis went way above and beyond to ensure that our children (age 7 & 8) felt welcomed and comfortable - and totally personalized their welcome and visit. We stayed in the Author's Suite - a Fireplace Suite - and the room was so spacious and comfortable - perfect for a family of four. We actually ate all of our dinners in the room at the dining table and lit the fireplace every day. Also a major plus was the mo... Read more

I'm in love with Kimpton Hotels! Their amenities, ambiance and attention to detail are quite lovely. The location of the Alexis is great walking distance from Pike Place! Downfall, only parking is $43 a night with in and out privileges. Overall, a great hotel with friendly staff.

I just adore the Kimptoon brand and this is one of my favorites. It's modern, sophisticated and down to earth. The location is ideal near Pikes Place and everything else Seattle has to offer. The hotel bar had an extensive liquor selection and the food was very good. We arrived too late to enjoy the wine and beer reception which is a huge perk that Kimpton offfers. I look forward to our next stay.

The Alexis is nicely designed, clean rooms, very comfortable beds and great service. The room was a bit small and oddly laid out, being a corner room, but was very comfortable and well appointed. The staff were super helpful, very pleasant and gave good recommendations for places to eat in the area. I like the nightly complimentary wine in the lobby and having coffee in the lobby each morning was nice, but just put a coffee maker in the rooms. It is a bit annoying having to trek downstairs firs... Read more

Alexis Hotel is perfectly situated between Pike Place Mkt and Pioneer Square, Century Link and Safeco Fields. Top notch accommodations with staff to match! Book Store Tavern/Restaurant was quaint but yet lots of fun with delicious beverage and food selections. The whole property was just a perfect place for our family to stay while visiting relatives, shopping and taking in a Seahawk's game.

I have stayed at the Alexis off and on over the last 20 years. when it comes to downtown Seattle hotels this historic place is definitely my first choice. A good hotel to stay at for a romantic weekend or for introducing a friend or business partner to the attractions of Seattle. Close to Pike Place Market, Pioneer Square, the waterfront....and many other areas of interest.

I stayed here for a few days over Christmas and I had a great stay! Connor and Lara both checked me in and were extremely hospitable and kind. The lobby is beautiful and the tree/wrinkled newspaper decorations were beautiful and put me in the holiday mood! The room was very spacious with a jetted tub and a small Juliet balcony. The only downside is that the tv was located near couch/living room area and the remote didn't work from the bed. (But I did survive! :) I wish I would have tried the re... Read more

From the minute we checked in to the Hotel Monaco in SLC, Utah; we were welcomed and made to feel like we were the only ones there! The hustle of valets to handle the volume of cars was done efficiently and with smiles. Taking care of me was a high priority to get me checked in and on my way! The front desk was more than pleasant ensuring I knew my additional benefits and what and where to go. The king suite was amazing and created a fantastic birthday surprise, for my wife of 42 years, with t... Read more

The quality of the room was okay, but the bathrooms are a bit dated and the ergonomics of the fixtures were less than ideal. There were two wall timers in the bathroom and they both seem to operate some sort of exhaust fan but since they weren't labeled, it's hard to know for sure which was what. The coffee machine that we requested didn't have the coffee replenished on the second day. Oddly, mugs weren't provided until the second night. The staff was polite.
