Asked for a quiet room and they gave us a room in the back that was very private. Bed and linens very comfortable. Housekeeping service impeccable and timely. Staff friendly and polite. Very welcoming hotel. Convenient location.

I spent a week at the Mayflower Park during a recent business trip. Instead of making my stay at the hotel one of the highlights of my trip, my room was a place I dreaded returning to after a long day. The accommodations within the room are comparable with other hotels in the downtown/Capital Hill area. The only two exceptions are the desk and bed. The desk chair will make you regret having to spend any time doing work from your room desk with the resulting lower back pain. If you enjoy a f... Read more

My husband and I spent a few days over Christmas 2015 here and had a wonderful time. The service, rooms, atmosphere, and property upkeep is consistent for both few day stays we have had in the last couple of years. This is our pick for staying in downtown Seattle. It is centrally located and while "historic" its rooms and amenities are modern and classy. For anyone who wants a romantic, peaceful and relaxing time away, the Mayflower is the place to stay in Seattle. I would not recommend it f... Read more

I can't say enough great things about this hotel. From the minute you walk in, they make you feel like a priority. We checked in during the evening. The gentleman managing the front desk was super helpful, friendly and got us checked in quickly. The room was clean and had everything you would want from a modern room, but it felt like a hotel you could have had a wonderful stay in at any point in the last 50 years. It was almost timeless. The location was wonderful as well.

I thoroughly enjoyed staying at this very beautiful classic hotel. It is in the heart of downtown and amazing for shopping. I had to drive around the block, as I missed the Valet parking (the underground parking right next to the hotel is NOT part of the hotel - just a hing) and, well if you know Seattle and all their one-way streets, that means I drove around several blocks and there were nothing but stores - Nortstrom's, a mall. I was not familiar with Seattle and I called the hotel for dir... Read more

We had a small suite for my daughter and me for first 2 nights. Then another daughter and grand daughter joined us. The suite was perfect as we were able to get together for chat and snack in the living area. We had 2 bathrooms which was also great. The hotel personnel were wonderful; especially the concierge service. We were pests! but they didn't seem to mind. We were very comfortable. My only complaint would be that the hand towels were almost threadbare. Bath towels were great. Locat... Read more

We stayed at the hotel overnight 5/31-6/1/16 for a couples getaway. Friendly valet Michael greeted us with a smile. The front desk man was very helpful and concerned when I misplaced my drivers license (Justin) I think. Our room was small but at that rate it was awesome. Can't wait to come back. When my husband and I celebrated our 35th Anniversary with a cruise to Alaska, we flew to Seattle and stayed at this hotel the night before. The hotel was old-time luxurious and the service was great! Everyone was friendly and bent over backwards to ensure we were comfortable. The room was very nice, the bed was plush, and we slept well. We ate breakfast in the hotel's Andaluca Restaurant the next day before leaving for our cruise, and could not have asked for a better meal. We enjoyed our ... Read more

This is a traditional style hotel in a great location. We arrived late on a Thursday (9.40 mph) and were surprised and disappointed that we could not get any food in the hotel as the kitchen closed at 9pm. We couldn't even get a sandwich. We asked the receptionist if he could suggest anywhere close by and he did find us somewhere a couple of blocks away but by that time we were too tired to go out to eat. Made reservations for a nights stay before and after our cruise. The room before our cruise was a larger room with a couple of chairs and a love seat. This bed was comfortable but the bathroom was pretty tight and some of the grout need to be replaced as well as some pretty worn wallpaper. On the flip side the room when we came back was a lot smaller and we only had a queen bed which is pretty tight for my self and my husband. our final stop after a two and a half week road trip that started in San Francisco. The Mayflower is well located within the city, and about a fifteen minute walk to the waterfront. The hotel itself is very nice and has an impressive entrance foyer. Concierge staff are waiting to take your luggage and park your car for you. The rooms are a reasonable size, could do with a little dusting under the tables. The other thing I Would have expected for a hotel of this standard is a fridge in the rooms.... Read more

My husband and I stayed here for a few nights mid June. When booking hotel rooms, I will usually request a high floor as I do enjoy a room with a view. I am also a wheelchair user and immediately after booking, the hotel contacted me via email to inform me that their wheelchair accessible rooms were located on the 3rd floor and I agreed that the 3rd floor would be ok. The Mayflower is a classy place to stay, well situated to the monorail station, and walking distance to great shops, restaurants, and the Marketplace. The view from our 5th floor room wasn't anything to speak of. The complimentary continental breakfast was served in restaurant style, but could have used an egg (you have the option to order a full breakfast from the restaurant). The staff was helpful and friendly. Would certainly stay there again.

We spent a night in Seattle before boarding an Alaskan cruise and chose the Mayflower Park for its great location. We flew into SeaTac airport and were excited to find out we could take the Link train for only $3.50 to a station only a couple of blocks away. When the bell captains heard our suitcases clacking down the sidewalk, they ran down to help us check in. This was the perfect place for exploring downtown Seattle. Location is not only convenient for walking but for catching the light rail (to and from the airport and around town) and the monorail. The rooms were a good size for an older hotel and very clean and functional. Overall, a good experience and I would definitely stay there again and recommend the Mayflower Park.

We love the Mayflower. Perfect central location, friendly staff and well appointed, if slightly small rooms. The bathrooms are retro (small) but functional. The only problem now, especially with the low Canadian dollar, is the relatively pricey rates charged during high season.

Absolutely top notch. Hotel made new and better. Wonderful ambience. All staff very friendly and helpful. Price of room comparable to any of the downtown hotels. Would definitely stay here over a "name" hotel. Location is perfect for visiting all sites. Light rail convenient for SeaTac and Safeco Field. Can walk to the Public Market. Take Monorail to Space Needle (after a slight walk). Would stay at this hotel every time I visit Seattle.

We needed a hotel near the King St. Amtrak Station for a Saturday trip to Vancouver to catch a cruise. The only downtown hotel we could find which would book a one night stay on a Saturday was the the Mayflower. It was more than I wanted to pay. But we were pleasantly surprised. Stayed 3 nights before our cruise. Hotel is in a great location within walking distance from so many places. We took the light rail to/from the airport so we never needed a car. Justin at the front desk was great... very nice and helpful. The room was nice as well. There were 4 of us (2 kids) so we got a suite with 2 queen beds and separate tv room. Very eay to find this hotel if coming in from SeaTac via the rail link. Just get out at Westlake. If you choose the wrong exit out of Westlake, just keep wandering around the Macy's building as the Mayflower is on the other side of the road to Macy's. The hotel is also extramely convenient for the monorail and the Lake Union trolley. Great room and I would recommend the short walk to Pike Street Market for breakfast overlooking Puget Sound and the harbour

I'm afraid we only stayed here for one night but wish it had been longer. Located right opposite Macy's and very close to the airport light rail link it is ideally placed for long or short stays in Seattle. Walking to attractions was very easy. I love boutique hotels, with their history and charm, and often they are found in the centre of town. For these reasons I chose to base our first trip to Seattle from here. It is also one of the the more affordable hotels in this area. It is an easy walk to the Pike Place Market, shopping and dining in the CBD, and of course, the rail link via the Westlake station, which just across the street off 4th street, near Macy's.
