There are many hotels that you choose to go to, because of convenience. I love going to different cities and trying different hotels - because it is fun. However this specific hotel, the Palladian right by the Seattle Pier - is one that if I ever go back to Seattle, would be my chosen hotel. For only being there for 1 night, the hotel staff made you feel like family. SINCERELY. They went out of the way to make you feel comfortable, and I am a family of 3 big dogs. We went to Seattle at the end of November for a football game and ended up at the Klimpton. The service was excellent here. It was a short jaunt to Pike Place and right downtown. We liked the location and the street was quiet since it wasn't in a particularly busy area but it was still close enough to walk to the downtown attractions. We loved the wine they offered at 5:00 pm and house drinks. So much fun to try after coming in for the day! The rooms were a decent size and cute. We liked the bou... Read more

I recommend this hotel. It's in a great location for Pikes Market, restaurants and bars - all an easy walk. I liked the funky atmosphere and the front desk and valet personnel were very friendly and helpful. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it doesn't have views and I wouldn't describe it as super luxurious.

This is a pretty nice hotel. I am a Kimpton brand native so I am familiar with their offerings. First and foremost the staff is top notch, extremely friendly and knowledgable. The hotel is close to Pike Place near the water and only two blocks from the first Starbucks. I highly recommend the upgrade to the King Premier for a bit more space. We were on the 9th floor and had an excellent view of the space needle. Everything is literally within a few blocks walking distance. The only drawbac... Read more

We stayed for 3 nights during a Seattle heatwave. The hotel is small and beautiful with a lovely ambience. It was also quiet as we stayed in a room overlooking the alley in a king deluxe. The bathroom was an average size with enough room for both of us to put our wash bags. The staff were also very friendly.

Husband and I traveled to Seattle for our anniversary. I did a lot of research before choosing the Palladian, and it did not disappoint. The hotel staff was all very friendly, provided us a bottle of wine and a nice card for the occasion. They also provided us a microwave to heat up some of our market leftovers. On our last night there we ate a late lunch so we ended up ordering room service late in the evening... it was delicious, best kale salad I've had!! The location was perfect being on... Read more

We stayed here for four nights and loved it. Great location (easy 5 min walk from the Link train at Westlake straight from Seatac airport), lovely room and very helpful attentive staff. The Penny Royal bar is good, the bar tender makes a mean cocktail, didn't try the restaurant. Usual Kimpton amenities but with a modern, minimalist feel to the room which we really liked. Nice and quiet too. A special mention to Steven on reception who went out of his way to help us with pub recommendations on... Read more

I chose the hotel because of it's proximity to Pike Place Market and a deal going on for that weekend - but it so very much exceeded expectations. The view from our room was beautiful. We were very happy at the Palladian for a quick overnight stay. The room is lovely, and the bed is great. It's full of fun Kimpton design touches. As Kimpton Karma members (it's simple to sign up) we got free wifi, and some free items from their minibar, which is stocked with local Seattle treats. Nice linens. The bathroom is small but nice (this is a redone old downtown building); there is only a shower but that is our preference so it was fine. Good toiletries. The ventilation system was silen... Kimpton Hotels always make an impression! The Palladian was no exception‚??with crazy eclectic decor and great perks like free coffee, an evening wine tasting and infused waters in the lobby. The modern minimalist design was a little less-than-cozy in our room. The space was a bit stark and empty (with poor lighting), and there wasn't a great spot to stash clothes or suitcases. Pros: very helpful, friendly staff; nice room, very good gym Cons: overpriced; charge for wifi, which is very unusual, especially in what's billed as a 4 star hotel; area around the hotel (Pike Market 2 blocks away) increasingly seedy with people sleeping in doorways, vacant buildings, graffiti - I would not be comfortable letting kids walk around this area alone.

Recently spent 3 nights at Palladian Hotel in Seattle. There were 4 of us traveling in two rooms. The Palladian is hip / chic without going over the top (i do not like Hipster Heavens). Location is fabulous, hotel is clean and incredibly functional. The rooms are small but not so small you feel like Tokyo. Bar food and drinks were very good as well. But the real kicker was the staff; every single one of them were incredibly helpful and friendly. As a 100k mile traveler over the last 5+ ye... Read more

Wow - what a fantastic trip to Seattle this past July. We arrived a the airport - and then took the train from the plane to downtown for just $7. It was very simple and fun. We had just a short 2-3 block walk from the station to The Palladian. We arrived early in the morning so we just check our bags and headed out to find food. The room was wonderful - so warm and inviting - and a fun with the quirky pillows. We had a nice breakfast in the hotel and met some old friends in the bar for ad rink... Read more

I have no compunctions about honestly assessing the quality of boutique hotels. I have given Kimpton properties five stars and three stars in the past. The honest truth is this: the Palladian is a five-plus. I was fortunate to visit during the epic typhoon that struck during mid-October 2016. Fortunate, because it meant I spent much more time inside the hotel than I normally would. Everything during my 3-night stay was spot on. From excellent, friendly, and helpful staff, to great food, fantast... Read more

If you liked the Hotel Cortez from American Horror Stories this place is for you! I will say the staff were very nice and attentive and the location very good - which is why I picked it. But the room was a terrible terrible disappointment for having paid upfront and requesting the best possible view about 3 months ahead of time and staying 4 nights. It was small and dark. The sliding barn door didn't even cover the bathroom opening without cracks on the side. If you sat on the can with the door... Read more

Awesome stay! Nice guy, Joey, at the desk checked me in. Hotel knew it was my birthday and sent me some snacks. Super nice surprise. Room was clean and well decorated with Dave Grohl pillow to boot. Will definitely be back.

Had a "staycation" downtown while we had our floors redone. Great boutique hotel with a retro-modern vibe, Lots of nice touches like free wine hour, mini-Jambox in every room, and plush robes. Our room even had a claw foot tub. Shaker and Spear has delicious food and we had a wonderful time at the hotel's Humane Society Benfit Halloween Party in the Penny Royal Bar!

Absolutely LOVED the hotel. The hotel is beautiful and staff first class. Rooms are uniquely and beautifully decorated. Restaurant and lounge delightfully good. The hotel staff went above and beyond to reunite me with misplaced luggage, bring it to the next hotel we stayed at - over an hour away. SO GRATEFUL for a kindness and compassion! Will always book here when in Seattle.

Coming from Le Hermitage in Vancouver (vacation), we were disappointed with this hotel. We expected a higher level of service and quiet rooms. The doors are SO loud. Housekeeping sounds like they are body slamming each other into walls. It is not somewhere to stay if you want quiet. The water pressure is also really poor and the shower doesn't get hot! It's a warm, trickle shower that goes on and off randomly (my friends in different rooms had the same issue). The front desk associates are frien... Read more

My husband and I recently visited Seattle for a quick 2 nights before heading to Vancouver, BC, Canada. Our travel agent recommended the Palladian hotel. What a GREAT recommendation! This hotel was so unique and fun! A very modern feel, great decor and a staff that is surely not to disappoint! From the moment we walked in to the moment that we left we felt very welcome. The front desk and valet staff were all very helpful. We also enjoyed a few cocktails at the bar in the lobby and the drinks we... Read more

The first people to greet you are the very attentive and friendly valet's. They bring your bags in and then park your vehicle. Front desk staff is quick, professional and friendly. Hotel has a fun, funky vibe with a combination of very upscale ambiance with some retro touches. The rooms are simplistic but very nicely done. High quality bedding and travel toiletries. The restaurant is nice with a good variety of choices. The Penny Royal bar was very nice, comfortable and friendly. Service wa... Read more

I checked out of the original booked accommodation as it was not at all what I was after, and after taking a breath, booked at Kimpton Palladian. I was too early for my room, but it was of no consequence as I hadn't been to Seattle before and was keen to look around. My bag was cheerfully taken, I was given directions, and off I went. When I returned, my bag had been taken to my room, a gesture I always appreciate. My room was on the 9th floor, overlooking some city and skyline. While small, t... Read more

We loved the hotel--it is in a great location, walking distance to Pike Place Market, the Space Needle, and some great restaurants. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was small but beautiful and quiet. Free wine tastings at happy hour and delicious juice/tea combo available during the day.

I'm a Kimpton fan, and this place doesn't disappoint The location is perfectly situated on the edge of Belltown, and easily walkable to Pioneer Square, Pike Market as well as everything Belltown has to offer. Most notably Local 360 (one of my favorite places to eat) The property is very well maintained, very clean, large rooms, great vibe, always a surprise face on your pillow... (Robin Williams, Patrick Swayze, Tom Selleck, etc.) Additionally, the hotel staff is impressive. They make you fe... Read more

If you want to be close to Pike's Market and the Modern Art Museum, this is the place. Nice service and little perks like wine hour. Lovely and contemporary rooms (we had a suite with fireplace which was HUGE), some with fireplaces which was really nice and comfy beds. Onsite bar & restaurant is good for all meals and/or a cocktail. Nice gym(s) with more than just treadmills.

I've stayed at a few Kimpton hotels now and this is definitely one of my favorites! The decor is not only stylish but intriguing. The service was fantastic - as it always is with Kimpton. My room was so cool, I've been thinking about redecorating one of the guest rooms in my house to look like it. ...and they had gummy bears in the mini bar... I ate them! The only "negative" I might mention would be that the shower is open so water gets on the floor of the bathroom. But it was so stylish I didn... Read more

We stayed here for a night out away from the kids and oh boy, it was great! And what a location! We walked to Sushi Kashiba for dinner and stumbled home with no problems. Finished the night with a cocktail at the Pennyroyal bar. They make a mean Manhattan. Or, if you are adventurous, ask for the shark mouth cup with flames shooting out of it. The room was clean, hip and had a huge bathroom and clawfoot tub. Super comfortable king sized bed. I didnt want to leave.

As with all Kimptons, this place is chic and modern, with funky touches like whimsical portraits of pop culture icons in the lobby. And it is centrally located ‚?? an easy walk to Pike Place Market, the Space Needle and a ton of great restaurants, coffee shops and bars. But what made it outstanding was the staff. The first night there, I didn't sleep well because the pillow was way too thick; I have neck issues and need a flatter pillow. I explained this to the front desk staff, and lo and beh... Read more

This is my second Kimpton experience and honestly, I will never stay in another hotel ever again. We stayed here for just one night but wish we had stayed for longer. From the moment we entered, the staff were beyond friendly, even offering us fresh fruit and fruit infused water. The decor all throughout was also great as well as the restaurant and lounge. Palladian is less than a 5 minute walk to Pike Place as well as the tram that can take you to the Space Needle. Plenty of shops nearby as wel... Read more

As usual, the folks who work here were friendly and helpful. I've stayed at two of the Kimptons in Seattle and like them equally. This one is a bit less elegant than the Alexis. The location is better if you like to walk and plan to visit Seattle Center, South Lake Union as well as downtown. It's really close to the transportation hub for the monorail or the light rail. My room was on the east side which meant parking lot and building views but I bet there are some water views from the west side... Read more
