Very nice and clean hotel. Rooms are spacious and have a comfy couch and refrigerator. The service is good and the location in fantastic. Walking distance to most anything you'd want to do in Seattle. If you don't want to walk they offer a shuttle or the hotel is close to the tram

We were so pleased with this hotel. We chose the Hyatt Place blindly, wanting to be downtown and near the port for our cruise departure. We were so impressed with the friendliness of the entire staff and willingness to help make our trip a success. The cleanliness of the hotel was impressive. The rooms were so large and comfortable. The free shuttle service was a huge plus. If ever in the Seattle area again, we will definitely be staying at the Hyatt Place!

The Hyatt is one of the many hotels in downtown Seattle , like others, it is located in a great shopping area, close to convention center and walking distance to Pikes market but, in my opinion, the service is fantastic compared to some of the other area hotels we have stayed. The staff were extremely accommodating and the perks they provided were stellar. Can't say as I might get some staff in a little trouble. Suffice it to say, the only other place we prefer in Seattle is Hotel 1000. Not as c... Read more

There are several hotels in Seattle I stay at on regular basis. This is one of them. The location is hard to beat: it's on the border of Belltown and Seattle Center. A short walk from SLU. The beds are comfortable, the hotel serves breakfast, the rooms are big and soundproofing is ok. The service is also not bad. The hotel has free and working (other hotels might have wifi slow to barely usable level) wifi. What more to wish for? One thing that baffles me is the front desk. I typically visit eve... Read more

Used priceline to book an express deal for $119. We were pleasantly suprised to get a suite with a full kitchen and a separate bedroom with two queen beds, plus 3 flat screen TVs. The only negative is the monorail runs beside the hotel so the lower floors are noisy every 15 minutes or so. The room was clean and the beds super comfortable. Our room was close to 800 square feet. The breakfast was amazing with made to order omelets and lots of other standard fare. The parking was $25 in their ... Read more

We stayed for a night for women friendly soccer game at the Memorial stadium. It is great convenient location. We checked in around 3pm and we booked a two-bed room. We parked at the garage and they let us part until 3pm on the check out day which is nice as downtown parking is expensive. Of course they charge for parking $22 per day with unlimited access in and out. They also provide shuttle service up to an mile. They provide ear plugs in the room in case it is noisy. The hotel is located just four blocks from the Space Needle, Chihuly's Museum, monorail entrance and EMP Museum. This is your standard Hyatt Place with a well- appointed room, comfortable bed, and free "good" breakfast. the hotel shuttle will take you as far as Pike Market. there is no need for it to reach the tourist attractions cited above.

Hotel cleaning staff share elevators with staff in the morning, first two elevators that opened were jammed packed with staff and cleaning carts. As everyone else has said, the location is great for exploring downtown Seattle. The Space Needle and its associated Seattle Center are right down the street and it's a short drive (or shuttle ride) to the Pike Place market and other choice tourist destinations. I've stayed here multiple times over the last couple of years and it's a solid choice. The rooms are large, the bathroom is a little small, and the space is clean. The staff is cordial and helpful, and if you choose to do breakfast, there are a lot of options. It's a great location, as you can walk to just about anything downtown (I walk to Safeco Field) or to Capitol Hill. It's also fairly quite here in the evening.

What makes this hotel stand out is the exceptional front desk who go out of their way to help with any questions and provide a welcome atmosphere. The free shuttle was an extra nice service. I was given a room on the second floor with no view. When I booked my reservation I had requested on high floor with a view of the space needle. During my stay I found it very hard to use the so-called complementary shuttle. I found typically it was a 30 to 45 minute wait to access the shuttle to go anyw... Read more

We wanted some time in downtown Seattle so we stayed in this hotel. It is not a resort, so why 5 stars ? The location was convenient, the hotel is spotless, the staff is friendly and is very helpful, and the room is well appointed and comfortable. We couldn't ask for anything more ! The room provided two queen beds, a separate sitting area, and a functional bathroom. It was spotless. About 15 minutes after getting the room key I received a call to be sure everything was in order with the... Read more

We were on a quick trip to visit Seattle from Vancouver. We stayed two nights. Hotel location was perfect for us. The staff were so helpful...thanks to Dan, Tim, Rahmo, Marina and Christina. It was a short, nice walk to the Space Needle and park, EMP, duck tour and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation (worth checking out!). The free shuttle worked out great for us. They took us to the Pike Place market, to a spot overlooking the city -- where we saw the blue angels fly over the city during flee... Read more

I would stay here again if visiting Seattle! We called the hotel from the Westlake Station (we took the light rail from the hotel,) and were picked up in less than 10 minutes by a super friendly and engaged shuttle driver. The check in staff was helpful, friendly and ready to offer suggestions for places to go. Unfortunately our room was not ready, but they stored our bags while we went out to eat. I'm pretty sure housekeeping forgot us the next day, but as soon as I mentioned it, the room w... Read more

To be clear, I stay at Hyatt's alot and this Hyatt Place location misses the mark. Check in was efficient, not friendly and no acknowledgement of my elite Hyatt status. The rooms are early Hyatt Place, so they are looking a bit dated compared to newer Hyatt Place locations with the sink directly across from the bed. The free breakfast is heavy on carbs, while they do offer the basic precooked "skillet breakfasts", they haven't moved to the more varied menu like newer Hyatt Place locations have ... Read more

This hyatt place is set up typical from others I have visited. There is a nice sized sitting area, a half wall that separates the bed area, & a mini fridge/desk area. The sink area was separated from the toilet/shower room. That room was too small. The bed was comfy but the pillows were so firm I ended up buying a pillow from target. The included breakfast was decent & had a nice selection. This hotel was walking distance to all touristy stuff. We walked one direction for the space needle, mus... Read more

This was a very nice hotel in the downtown Seattle area. Excellent location and staff was very friendly! The food service was better than average with a good variety of breakfast items. The room was very clean and overall it was excellent. The area around the desk in the room seemed to have some noise bleed over from the adjoining room, but so problem from the bed location. Had an incident out on the street at 2:30am that caused quite a ruckus, but was no fault of the hotels. Overall, a nic... Read more

This place is a huge disappointment. Only 2 elevators and takes FOREVER to go in and out. We tried the breakfast one morning and it was nasty. Fruit tasted old and/or bad. Selection lackluster. Staff was friendly, not there fault. Our room had a lot of road noise.

We stay at Hyatt Place hotels around the US. This hotel was consistent with the brand. This property is conveniently located within blocks of the Space Needle. Lobby was clean. Staff is very friendly. I was disappointed by our room's location overlooking the 24hr Shell gas station next door, however the noise wasn't as bad as I expected (only 1 loud car stereo at 230am) The earplugs provided by the hotel helped. The breakfast was decent and the attendants kept the area tidy. Pretty good s... Read more

Stayed one night after an Alaskan cruise. Was glad it was only one night! We had 2 grandchildren in our room. The room was configured very strangely with the sofa bed facing the bed. There was no wall or partition between so we slept with our feet facing each other. No privacy at all. The bed was comfortable but located a few inches from the AC/heater and was freezing for the person sleeping next to it. Could not be turned down or the room quickly got too warm for everyone else. The lighting was ... Read more

Checked in after midnight, so I figured we'd get a lower floor room. Wound up on the second floor. As in any large city and downtown hotel, the lower the room, the higher the chances for street noise. It wasn't that bad. If you're more sensitive to noise, they do provide ear plugs. Other than that the room was great, with a comfortable bed. The free breakfast was good with great options; fruit, oatmeal, bagels, eggs, sausage, biscuits, and so on. Had breakfast all three mornings we were there an... Read more

We had a king on the 9th floor. Problem was, one of the 2 elevators didn't go to 9, so we had to ride up to 8 and take the stairs to 9, or wait for the elevator that actually worked. It was that way our entire stay. The room came with ear plugs, and for good reason - the street noise was loud. The only way to drown it out was to run the AC fan all night. The room had a refrigerator, but no safe, and a tiny little closet. There was a sofa in our room. Breakfast was the usual fare, similar to othe... Read more

Great hotel to explore Seattle. Located in Downtown Seattle very close to the space needle and Ride the Ducks of Seattle. Approximately a 20 minute walk to Pike's Place Market. The hotel offers a free shuttle around downtown. Stayed for two nights as a couple in a king bed room. Lovely room - very spacious with separate lounge area to bed. Fridge and coffee machine included in a dedicated area. Free breakfast selection was small (for American standards) but perfectly sufficient. Waffles and various eggs options as well as fresh fruit and pastries. Gym and pool available and fine - though no fan in the gym! Location perfect, we walked everywhere. Space needle a flat 10 minute walk and down town a flat 20 min. Friend... Read more

We had plumbing issues with our room, and it took a while for it to be addressed, we were not offered another room as a means to add value, or lessen our inconvenience. This hotel does not offer in-room safes to lock up valuables. Very odd set up...you have to bother the front desk, and it takes a while to lock up and get access to your valuables. Not an efficient system.

Not in the best section of town, but nice that it was close to the Space Needle. It is a walking city, so you can get to most destinations. The hotel does provide a free van ride for a radius of 1 mile (forget asking them to go 1.5 miles), but Lyft is always an option! Stay away from Room 901 -- it is directly under a fan unit on the roof which provides a 24 hour non-stop hum (similar to your bathroom fan being left on). Going forward, I will always inquire about top floor noise due to roof ... Read more
