The hotel was very nice. The beds were comfortable, and they are not to far from attractions. We were only pasing through town but would go to this hotel again. The only down side, there really is no place to take your dog to do their business.

When I visit Seattle, I usually stay downtown, however the reason for my visit this time was different and staying in Northgate made more sense. I wasn't sure how a smaller hotel would be, however I was pleasantly surprised. To me, the staff is key when recommending a hotel. From check-in to check-out and everything in between, the customer service was great. The employees always had a smile on their face, and were very helpful. The rooms were clean and the beds were very comfortable. I li... Read more

Booked last minute...should have kept looking, but I was tired and just wanted to sleep! Website gives a much better looking photo of what you are really going to get..which is an upgrade to a motel 6! Super disappointed. It's located on a major road, so all you hear all night is cars driving and honking. Especially since the rooms are accessed and face the road, and you enter from the outside. This is not a hotel..it's a motel! Tons of shady characters hanging out in the parking lot...dingy bat... Read more

Nice and comfortable room. Soaking tub was lovely. Parking can be a bit of a pain, but there are numerous businesses within walking distance including the Northgate Mall. The room itself is located on the outer back side of the hotel, so it can be a bit noisy outside, but not too terrible.

On arrival the reservation was finally found, but they kept telling me that a credit card under someone else's name was the only card authorized--finally got that straightened out and went to the room-after 2 sets of keys and the door still not opening, maintenance came up and they could not get door open so back downstairs to wait for another room-upon check out, they tried to charge me for the room even though it was prepaid and I had left documentation to that effect when I checked in. Had to ge... Read more

I've read some of the review below and can say I did not have the same experience at all. The Hotel is clean, a major concern for me, the staff I understand some are new but really tried to make me feel welcome. The rooms were comfy, clean and I slept well. I frequently travel to Seattle so this will be a Hotel I will continue to use.

I needed a place to stay after my husband had had an accident and been to the ER. I expressed to the clerk that I needed a room on the first floor and as nearby as possible because he was on crutches. Not only did she seem unmoved, but she put me a long distance from the office. When I asked her to move us closer it turned out we could not walk through the building but instead he would have to "hoof it" around the building. Once I finally got him into the room we felt the room did not seem c... Read more

This hotel was in a great location for us, and I loved how it was decorated. Hot breakfast included, free shuttle, free plentiful parking, free wifi, and good service; we had no problems whatsover. We will stay here again next time we visit Seattle.

I was pleasantly surprised , low price, clean updated rooms with the most comfortable beds ever!!! Staff aren't just friendly , helpful and personable. They've got the most amazing food at an upscale restaurant just right out front in same parking lot. I was worried that the noise level would be affected by adjacent streets and outside entrance to rooms, I never heard anything . Don't criss this off because the low price in no way reflects the quality of this diamond in the rough .

First day room was not serviced so therefore no coffee or tissues the second day. Called front desk and they indicated the manager would contact us - no phone call. The motel (it is not a hotel) has soap and shampoo that is dispensed from a container. Not a fan of bath gel and the conditioner does not work with the dispenser. Employees were nice at check-in. Breakfast was decent although the bananas were bruised and over ripe.

My wife and I stayed at the Hotel Nexus to be north of the University district where are daughter is living. We hate I-5's traffic and being North would alleviate dealing with that. Although the location is good and it is easy to get to, that is about the best I can say for the Hotel. The worst part of the stay was that we just did not feel safe here. For a bunch of reasons. Not that anything happened, because it did not, but the doors in the hallways did not close all the way, anyone could get... Read more

I have stayed at Hotel Nexus Seattle at least 10 times now. Each time there has been wonderful service and exceptional customer service. Any questions are promptly answered, every request for extra things have been gratefully filled, and even requests to change rooms was not a problem. All the staff has been courteous and polite and very helpful. Had the opportunity to stay somewhere else, I won't mention, and I was reaffirmed of just how wonderful this hotel is. Words can't describe how gratefu... Read more
