The hotel was very nice. The beds were comfortable, and they are not to far from attractions. We were only pasing through town but would go to this hotel again. The only down side, there really is no place to take your dog to do their business.

When I visit Seattle, I usually stay downtown, however the reason for my visit this time was different and staying in Northgate made more sense. I wasn't sure how a smaller hotel would be, however I was pleasantly surprised. To me, the staff is key when recommending a hotel. From check-in to check-out and everything in between, the customer service was great. The employees always had a smile on their face, and were very helpful. Booked last minute...should have kept looking, but I was tired and just wanted to sleep! Website gives a much better looking photo of what you are really going to get..which is an upgrade to a motel 6! Super disappointed. It's located on a major road, so all you hear all night is cars driving and honking. Especially since the rooms are accessed and face the road, and you enter from the outside. This is not a hotel..it's a motel! Tons of shady characters hanging out in the parking lot...dingy bat... Read more

Nice and comfortable room. Soaking tub was lovely. Parking can be a bit of a pain, but there are numerous businesses within walking distance including the Northgate Mall. The room itself is located on the outer back side of the hotel, so it can be a bit noisy outside, but not too terrible.

I needed a place to stay after my husband had had an accident and been to the ER. I expressed to the clerk that I needed a room on the first floor and as nearby as possible because he was on crutches. Not only did she seem unmoved, but she put me a long distance from the office. When I asked her to move us closer it turned out we could not walk through the building but instead he would have to "hoof it" around the building. Once I finally got him into the room we felt the room did not seem c... Read more

I was pleasantly surprised , low price, clean updated rooms with the most comfortable beds ever!!! Staff aren't just friendly , helpful and personable. They've got the most amazing food at an upscale restaurant just right out front in same parking lot. I was worried that the noise level would be affected by adjacent streets and outside entrance to rooms, I never heard anything . Don't criss this off because the low price in no way reflects the quality of this diamond in the rough .

First day room was not serviced so therefore no coffee or tissues the second day. Called front desk and they indicated the manager would contact us - no phone call. The motel (it is not a hotel) has soap and shampoo that is dispensed from a container. Not a fan of bath gel and the conditioner does not work with the dispenser. Employees were nice at check-in. Breakfast was decent although the bananas were bruised and over ripe.

My wife and I stayed at the Hotel Nexus to be north of the University district where are daughter is living. We hate I-5's traffic and being North would alleviate dealing with that. Although the location is good and it is easy to get to, that is about the best I can say for the Hotel. The worst part of the stay was that we just did not feel safe here. For a bunch of reasons. This hotel was somewhat average (having such come back from Alaska). Rooms were clean. Lobby was nice. Free laundry!!! Nice breakfast!!! Rooms look like they've been remodeled. There is a big mall nearby which we walked to (had to cross a major road and freeway on ramp). It wan't too far from downtown Seattle and a whole lot less expensive. We did have to rent a car. I was happy with this place and would have no problems staying there again.

We stayed for Friday and Saturday for a fun weekend in Seattle. It was a quick drive to Seattle center and the water front. The room was clean with a microwave and a small refrigerator and freezer. The bed was clean and very comfortable. It was a lovely set up for a great price. There was several items for breakfast from hot items to cold ones. We didn't go into the pool but plan to the next time we're there. We definitely plan on using this place each time we're in Seattle.

For the price of this property it was great! The front seat staff was outstanding and was very accommodating! My only complaints deal with a tight parking lot and tough entrance and exit off of the busy road. As far as the hotel itself and employees, it was great!!!

This hotel has done a great job in making a budget hotel feel classier. I am usually a luxury hotel guest, but I couldn't find a nicer hotel in the area, so this is where I stayed. I was pleasantly surprised at the professionalism and friendliness of the staff, the cleanliness of the public areas and my hotel room in general, the modern upgrades of my room, the good wifi, and the quality of the appliances (large screen tv, microwave, coffee maker) in my room. There were only a few minor "negativ... Read more

The hotel provided excellent service, rooms were clean and updated. The tickets to the game were had a great view, and the shuttle was very convenient. It was well worth it to buy this package, and I would definitely do it again. You made this getaway memorable for us :) The staff at Saffron Grill were very nice as well.

Our second stay at the Nexus & we will stay here on our next visit to Seattle. It is basic & simple, but everything is in the right place. LOTS of room to put belongings & luggage. Handy grab bar outside of tub. Well laid out rooms. Can walk next door for above average coffee. Breakfast Bar is generous. Housekeeping is really nice.

I was in Seattle last October 12, when I did the check in I was informed that $25 will be charged in my credit card in advance because If I use the ppv in the TV, as I travel purpose was for business I didn't turn on the TV. I left the hotel on October 15th and the lady in the reception told me that the $25 will be back in 3 working days, I said ok, but I received an email from my bank saying that Hotel Nexus has charged $32.50 plus the $25 that never was back to my account, I'm trying to conta... I planned a last minute work trip and found a Hotel Nexus deal online. I was happily surprised by the quality and friendliness of staff. I did not encounter a single person without a smile on their face. The young man at the front desk processed me in quickly and provided a menu for the restaurant located in the parking lot (great Indian food there!) I was given my choice of room and he gave an honest recommendation between two choices. My room was clean and updated. Towels were fluffy a... Read more

The hotel was nice for the price in Seattle. While being at the business center the front desk helped numerous guest and potential guest getting them the best rate and taking extra care for those that was staying for medical reasons. I can say other than an awesome chat with the front desk agent while at the business center the hotel is a good average hotel with some interest take on modern interior

The hotel has been updated very nicely; elevators to help you get to your luggage to your floor. Breakfast had some hot options but only microwaved so not good quality. very limited gluten free options. The mattress was very saggy and uncomfortable on the most used side closest to washroom. The room smelled "fresh" but was a heavy chemical room freshener smell. Location to downtown Seattle was fabulous. So this overall rating is average; I would stay again just to be close to downtown. When I arrived at my room, I thought it was okay but bland. I was pleasantly surprised by all the little conveniences that add up for an older business traveler. The lighting was excellent, including task lighting, two good bedside lights (in a single queen room), and decent lighting over the bathroom sink (rare!). There was ample storage, there were two night tables with outlets, there was a power strip by the little desk. The basic bathroom had a good safety bar for getting in and out of t... Read more

Nexus has a special rate for families at U of W Medical Center. We paid $96 for a king and for a double queen room plus taxes. The serve a nice healthy hot breakfast from 6am to 10am. The place has been remodeled, We asked for quiet rooms and were on the back side from the street but were at the end of the hall so had freeway noise. When we finally turned on the heat that white noise nicely covered the freeway noise and we were able to sleep. When we arrived the heat was completely turned off so... Read more
