I pretty much like to stay at Holiday Inn. This one is right on par. We stayed here because we had an appointment at harborview medical center. Currently the parking lot is being repaired so parking was a bit tight for a full size pickup. The hotel manager came out and helped me stuff it into 2 compact spots. Front desk is personal is very friendly. The breakfast is the standard "continental" style. 170 per night, plus 19. for parking. Kinda steep, but it is downtown Seattle, so it compares to ... We stayed here with our 3-year old for a vacation. It's not far from the Space Needle and Monorail, though I wish we'd discovered how easy (and close) it was to catch buses before our last day in the hotel. Note that this hotel does not have a shuttle at all, which is a bummer as it'd be nice to be able to use one to get dropped off to nearby attractions. The breakfast is your typical Holiday Inn Express breakfast - pancakes, muffins, toast, bagels, yogurt, cinnamon rolls, and some sort of ... Read more

This was the best experience with any hotel ever. We spent two hours driving around Seattle because of road construction, when we finally arrived they took care of us. They obtained local transportation at their expense to take us to dinner at an excellent restaurant. The people went out of their way to accommodate us. They made our four day stay exceptional and took away the stress and worry about traveling in an unfamiliar city. Amazing service.

The hotel is very close to touristic places like the space needle and museums. Great breakfast service and a pool, family friendly. The rooms are good size and bathrooms too. We had a great view of the space needle. The ride from the airport is about 20 min, riding in Uber they charged us around $57. However, if you are in a business trip and need to split your bill for purpose of reimbursement this is not the best place. They charged the whole amount of our room to only one credit card. If I had my choice again, I'd pick another hotel and new after my Levi's were STOLEN out of the dryer between 11:20pm-1220am, I'll never stay here or recommend it. For the size hotel, they have two washers and dryers, it will take you hours to do a load. At the hour I was doing my laundry it makes me wonder what type of security cameras they have. The location is on the edge of a rough neighborhood, but close to the Space Needle. The breakfast is ok, but I'm not really a fan of HIE's breakfasts... Read more

I was visiting Seattle on a business trip and I got this hotel from the office. My check-in took more than an hour as there was only one office staff at the desk and she was handling other customers and very very slow. After a long flight, I didn't expect that. Anyway, this hotel is very close to Space Needle and Amazon HQ. So if you are visiting either of those two, it's a good hotel with price otherwise I wouldn't recommend this hotel.

Holiday Inn Express Seattle City Center - This hotel is priced at around $220-$250 per night which is the going rate for a hotel located in downtown Seattle. The Space Needle, Experience Music Project (EMP) Museum, monorail and light rail, and other attractions are within walking distance of the hotel. This Holiday Inn Express is next door to a Holiday Inn and both are good locations for roaming the center city. About a $33 Uber ride to the airport and within walking distance to many areas including the Needle. Easy to take cabs to many areas including Pike Market. The Holiday Inn Express was booked primarily because we had the points to stay in it. We were staying in the hotel prior to embarking on a cruise to Alaska. This hotel is dated but close to the space needle. The room was clean and the breakfast was decent. I was a little disappointed that they decided to block access to the street with construction. They could have easily created a walkway but didn't. There is a busy highway right beside the hotel which makes access a little more difficult than normal. We are IHG rewards club platinum members. We always book reservations with the holiday inn express wherever we go. When we arrived at our room we noticed the TV was not working. We contacted Duane who handled this issue promptly much to our satisfaction. We agree with other reviewers who stated the hotel was in a perfect location and that the hotel was extremely clean. But more importantly, it was Duane's assistance and attention that made this an excellent stay.

Front desk staff is very friendly. Room was clean and a good size. The breakfast was very good for a free one, good variety. Unfortunately when I returned to my room one evening I found that my room door had been left open by housekeeping. I reported this to the front desk but nothing was done about it. We were here for two night. We had two adjoining rooms. There is a lot of construction at the entrance so getting in and parking was a little goofy (which is a $19/day charge) When we got into our room we opened the fridge to put some stuff away and water poured out and there was someone's leftover stuff that had not been emptied. We spent 6 nights at this hotel and had a comfortable king size bed and a suite with a 55 inch tv in both rooms. It had a nice couch and a kitchenette. The room was very clean but had a little mold around the shower/tub. The shower/tub was hard to get into but the tub also had whirlpool jets which made it our own personal hot tub. We were able to walk to the Space Needle, EMP Museum, and Pike Place Market. We took the monorail from the Space Needle to the downtown area. Great location. Aw... Read more

This place was better appointed in the rooms than your usual Holiday Inn Express, good value for money for a city centre hotel. We had good views from the room window. I slept well every night, breakfast was good for this sort of place. Could not fault it for the price.

Here is what you need to know....Holiday Inn and Holiday Inn Express are basically the same location (they are literally back-to-back with each other). If you go to the wrong one, just turn down the little alley between them rather than wandering the confusing one way streets around them. Other than that, the hotel is getting kinda dated, staff are kinda just "there", the breakfast room was kinda overwhelmed with people and not enough seating and parking is kinda tight and difficult. On the po... Read more

This hotel provided us with almost all facilities needed for an enjoyable stay. Only the hot jaccuzi would have made it perfect. We spent a total of eight nights there, The staff at the front desk and at the breakfast room were friendly and professional. During my first night I could not go to sleep because my restless legs were keeping me awake. I realized that I had not eaten bananas that day because of the long trip from Houston. I went down to the front desk in my pajamas and asked the man ... Read more

The reason I picked this hotel was for it's location and the fact as it has an indoor pool. The first evening we were here, we checked out the pool and it was COLD. We talked to the front desk twice and the next afternoon there was a sign on the door saying there was a temperature issue. In addition to that, at 245am on a Friday morning, the fire alarm went off. The guests went outside and waited until the building was all clear by the fire department. There was never any explanation by staf... Read more

We found our stay here enjoyable and reasonably priced. The staff in all areas were polite and helpful when we needed their assistance. Our room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was varied and plentiful. One of the best things is its central location in relation to the Space Needle. We would definitely stay there again and would recommend it based on our experience.

The Holiday Inn Express in Seattle city centre is conveniently located about six blocks from the monorail station at the landmark Space Needle. This certainly made it easy to get to downtown Seattle and the touristy spots around the waterfront & the Public Market at the other end of the monorail line. Our room was clean, and kept nice & tidy during our stay. The king-sized bed was very comfortable, but it took up a lot of space. Bathroom was just big enough for a tub and shower, along with the ... I stayed for 2 nights on a business trip. Although breakfast is very different to what i get in the UK there was no shortage of food. All of the staff are very helpful and very polite. If i am in this area again i would stay here again. The location of this hotel is great for exploring the city.

Very pricey hotel for what you get but perhaps this is the price for downtown Seattle. Hotel itself seem a little pokey with a bunch of corridors and rooms so no open plan so feels a little dated. Room was ok. Breakfast same as most Holiday inn Express. All in a little underwhelming specially with the high price.

I am going to review 2 Holiday Inn properties simultaneously. Why? Because the Holiday Inn Seattle Downtown and the Holiday Inn Express City Center literally are adjoined. They abut one another back to back. It is really a little confusing. Somehow, during some business meeting rescheduling, I managed to book a night in each consecutively. I think this is probably done often since these 2 hotels share a common location but different address. The first night I stayed at the Holiday Inn expres... Read more
