This is a fairly new hotel situated right in the heart of Seattle, within walking distance to shops, offices, and restaurants. We arrived early and left our baggage with the concierge while taking a walk out, we were called when the room was ready (despite check in time being 4 pm, you can usually get a room around noon). The staff are very friendly and helpful. The gym is small and basic, think a college dorm gym with a few treadmills and some weights. There's a small heated pool, nothing fanc... Read more

Just completed a three night stay. One desk clerk was helpful, the rest were spotty. Service and quality of restaurant/bar/room service was average. For example I ordered room service but wanted to pay for it right then but the gal who brought it said "then I have to go back down and come back up again" so I just went with the flow but I found that odd. It is room service for a reason. I also found it odd to have only a shower and no bathtub. For that price you should get the option of a tub. Th... Read more

Great hotel location for walking down into the waterfront downtown, Lake Union, Safeco Field. Not a lot of food or coffee near by...but the Breakfast and Coffee served were above normal to many stays at other HGI. We booked 5 days at the Hilton Garden Inn. When we got there, the entire hotel was surrounded by construction. We have a 4-year-old and walked to the hotel from the train station. It was very difficult to navigate because the sidewalks were torn up and the noise was deafening. We honestly feared for our daughter's ears--we were lugging suitcases and trying to put our hands over her ears at the same time. Everyone in the area was wearing earplugs. The location of the hotel was disappointing, as we were expecting that in downtown we would not have to drive everywhere. The area is safe but there's nothing, nothing around at a reasonable walking distance. Another negative is that they ONLY have valet parking at an outrageous price. This is located in downtown Seattle. It's a beautiful hotel with very polite and helpful staff. The room we stayed in was very clean and well maintained. There is a construction right across from this hotel BUT it didn't bother us. The bar downstairs is a nice space and the bartender/waitress is also very nice. Pretty solid Hilton Garden Inn. Pool could have been bigger and deeper. Room was nice. I do not recommend getting breakfast there, there were not enough waiters. Other Hilton Garden Inn's let you go straight to the chef to place your orders. Plenty of close places you can go to get breakfast for less than $13.95 a person, kids are free though.

You pretty much know what you're getting with a Hilton Garden Inn. The brand is very consistent and this one might even be a little nicer than the average. The staff is friendly and service is good. Expensive to park though, $43 per day for valet. The location is good for sightseeing and shopping. We love to walk on vacations and the walking was just right, not too long not too short. About a mile from the Pike Place market, a little further for the needle, and even closer for Nordstrom.

Location - 4/5 Cleanness - 5/5 Room - 5-5 So what is the problem? 1. Parking - you must valet. No other option. Add $44 a night to your room rate! 2. Pillows - Get this into your mind Hotels!!!! Pillows are use to support your head! You want to have so soft pillows that your head ends in the mattress and the inside of the pillow ends on the side of the head as earmuffs!!!! If you sleep on the side or on your stomach pillow become suicide pillows. They will block your air trails.

We stayed here at the tail end of our anniversary trip to Canada and Washington and this was one of the best stays of our whole trip. Pros- Nice staff, great breakfast, clean room, Great amenities. Cons- vallet service was slow, expensive, and charged us for an extra night, dinner service in the hotel restaurant was horrible. Wait staff and kitchen staff had no idea what gluten was which made dealing with a gluten allergy very difficult. Hotel showed premium wifi and late check out included when... Read more

Stayed here for 3 nights for a mother/son get away in October 2016. The location is fabulous. Walking distance to everything we wanted to see and do. So close to great shopping, restaurants, Pike's Market, the Pier, etc. It was about a 15-20 minute walk to the Space Needle and Chiluly art museum but an easy, pleasant walk. Free cookies, hot chocolate, coffee and tea in the lobby was a nice touch. A beautiful fireplace with cozy couches in the main lobby were especially appreciated on a ra... Read more

After camping in the Olympic Peninsula for 5 nights my wife / son / I were ready for long showers and a soft bed. We booked 2 nights at this Hilton Garden Inn using my iPhone app and were warmly greeted upon arrival. That night Seattle started getting strong weather / wind and the next several days were going to be brutal - possibly shutting down the airport (SeaTac) that we were scheduled to leave from at the end of our stay. Because an airport closing was a big reality and we needed to get ... Read more

The hotel itself is fine and actually one of the nicer HGIs. However the parking is valet only - despite the garage being right there and open to the public. Then they charge $43 each night to hotel guests and take 30 minutes to retrieve your car.

The hotel is very clean and has very modern furniture comparing with other Hilton Garden Inn I have stayed in. The breakfast staff was VERY friendly and came by multiple times to ask if we needed anything else. It is a short walk to the pacific place mall and public market. The restaurant does close at 10:00 PM so if you want a late night snack, stop by front desk and they will give you suggestions for delivery!

The rooms are clean and modern. The hotel is very nice for the price and the staff are very good. Breakfast is good for the money. Dinner menu did not work for me, so I ate at the numerous restaurants in the area. I was quoted $43 a day for parking which had me using the train.

We had a great experience at this hotel. We arrived at 11am on a Saturday with the intent to drop our bags and actually were allowed to check in then. The coffee & tea startion was always stocked with everything! We enjoyed the lobby and hotel bar/restaurant. They helped us get around Seattle and answer all our questions.

Well I should know by now that if you stay anywhere downtown you'll be fleeced for parking. Valet parking for $42 - gulp. Oh well, luckily we got a decent deal on the room so it balanced out. We were able to walk to the water, market, SB etc in about 20 mins leisurely stroll (with the kids). Without them you'd be there a lot faster. Neighbourhood was a bit quiet at night but felt very safe - just not many cafes/bars/stores around. Room was good and clean, also quiet. I would stay here again... Read more

I stayed for about a week during one of my conference visits and I found the hotel very nice. Lovely lobby with modern ambiance, nice Chihuly glass ornaments, friendly services. Breakfast was not included in the cost, but it was good for moderate price. Also they had good dinner and bar services. WiFi was included in the cost, but probably because I booked the hotel as a package. I think it is separately charged if the hotel is booked on individual base. Honestly talking in this age and time eve... Read more

Walking distance from the light rail...about .7 of a mile. It was doable and saved money by not taking a taxi. No need for a car while in Seattle. Everything was one to two miles from the hotel and walkable. The staff was friendly and assisted with any questions we had.

We thoroghly enjoyed our stay at the HGI Seattle. The staff were the best , the salt water pool so relaxing, and the hotel very close to all we did in Seattle. we were only a few blocks from shopping, space needle, Pikes market . We will definitely stay here again when we return to Seattle

I could not find anything wrong with this hotel: - Front desk staff was very helpful and courteous - They allowed us to check in early (9:30 am) after arriving off an Alaska cruise - The room was very nice - 2 Queen bed for 4 (parents and 2 large teenagers) - Excellent breakfast. Very nice bar and lounge area. - Excellent work out room and very nice pool - Good location. Was able to walk to most places downtown - Would definitely stay again and recommend.

This is a new hotel. The prices are ok (not cheap, not expensive). If I come again, I will stay elsewhere not because of the hotel per se, but the location was not ideal for me. I was attending at conference at the convention center, and it is definitely walkable, but you have to walk through a lot of construction and it is not a very scenic walk. In the future, for about the same price, I would stay at a better location.

Walking distance to downtown, easy links to the I-5 and airport. Good customer service in the hotel - generally a thoroughly good place to set up camp for a Seattle stay. Probably a little expensive for what it is but you can quite easily pay more for a worse hotel downtown.

I stayed in this Hotel for 4 days. The hotel is like new. The furniture is new and very clean. It is located in a convenient location for downtown and convention center. It is 8 minutes walk to the famous farmers market. Customer service at the front desk is unmatched. They went above and beyond to help during a rainy day. The provide me with umbrella with out me asking. I will highly recommend this hotel..

The hotel was gorgeously decorated and the staff was friendly! Bar area was also very nice and happy hour was reasonably priced. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to stay downtown. Breakfast buffet was about $14 which isn't terrible, but I don't eat much so it would've been nice to pay less for what I ate. Food was great, though.

If you like a strong, refreshing shower, or even for your hands to not feel slimy after using the provided bar soap, you might consider finding a hotel with better water pressure. If there's a bare minimum pressure to be considered as having a functional bathroom in the eyes of the law, they appear to have found it. The parking is valet only (already annoying, and they take a while to retrieve your car), described as having in and out privileges, but no one tells you that valet closes over nig... Read more

Everything you'd expect from a Hilton Garden Inn, and a bit more! Staff here were very friendly and welcoming and I found the decor to be a nice nod to Seattle (glass art inspired by Chihuly can be seen in the lobby). Food was also very good and thumbs-up to the bartenders who were so friendly and ready to serve. I did an e-check in and selected the highest room I could. Most Hilton Garden Inns are cookie cutter hotels devoid of personality. This is an upper end HGI that is modern and is located in a reasonably central part of Seattle. The rooms are clean and quiet and the service is good. The lobby area has a nice vibe. Any downsides? Super expensive parking and the bar closes too early (about 10:30pm)

We stayed during a very busy weekend, so our price was a bit elevated. Our interaction with the staff was pleasant. I felt like the location was a half mile from the shopping and nicer dining. The room was large enough for the two of us, but they oversold the 'luxury bathroom.' It was small with a larger shower only. Unfortunately, we faced the construction of 37 floor Tilt 49, so no view for us.

It is one of the newer properties in downtown Seattle. The lobby is beautifully designed. The location is near everything in downtown Seattle. The problem is there is no parking space, it is called "valet parking only" hotel. They do have a garage but clients or visitors cannot park into it. This may be common in downtown area but really inconvenient and expensive.
