I was nervous about staying here due to all of the negative reviews over the last few months, however I found most of them to be unfounded or exaggerated. Yes, the atrium is under construction, causing less seating than normal and a temporary happy hour set up - but it is still offered. Breakfast is in the Restaurant and stations are set up all over the restaurant (Hint: If you want an omelette they are all the way in the back) But, it is a temporary issue. I didn't find the lines any longer t... Read more

Went to Seattle for our 30 anniversary we stayed one of the nights of our weekend at Embassy Suites in Tukwila. We know going into it the lobby was being redone. No biggie. ~~~~Our room was the problem. So dirty rundown not taken care of at all. Kids finger prints all over the huge glass windows in the living room area. (yep paid extra for the bigger better room) Couch ripped. Some gross stuff dripping down the front of the sink in the bathroom. Huge greasy hand prints on the glass on the dress... Read more

Rooms in tough shape. It really shows its age. They are remodeling the common areas, but I think that the rooms need it more. The staff does not even seem to be there for the restaurant, maintenance, etc. Every breakfast table was dirty because they were not even cleaning up after people ate.

I brought a large group to stay at this hotel for business purposes. Everything that could go wrong seemingly did. The hotel was under construction, even though we had been told the construction would long be complete, creating an extremely noisy and disruptive atmosphere in the lobby, foyer, and atrium. Breakfast was squeezed into the restaurant with insufficient staff and understocking of all of the basics. The omelette line took almost 20 minutes to transit on multiple days of our stay. ... Stayed here for a night and this is a typical set-up of an Embassy Suites. They are in the final stages of construction so the entire middle section of the hotel is being worked on but they manage to have the evening cocktails and food anyway. Rooms are dated and are in need of a refresh so hopefully the hotel plans on moving there next. The restaurant has a nice spread of options for breakfast and an omelete station so no complaints there. There are a lot of hotels on this street so if they can... Read more

We have stayed in other Embassy Suites in the past and this is the worst. The staff at the reception desk were great but the restaurant and evening reception...not so much. The food has taken a nose dive for the evening reception, kids were grabbing a hand full of food then putting some back in the bowl... One kid took the scoop for the popcorn (after dumping the kernnals left in her bowl back into the popped popcorn) and wiped it on her pant leg and kept tapping her leg with it while an employe... I've been a member for many years and by far this is my worst experience with Embassy. Especially this particular location. I've also stayed here multiple times before and it was great than. I know there's construction going on but it's no excuse to check folks in, like myself with an attitude. Staff should always put customer service on top of their list with respect. Stayed for a couple of nights following a flight from London. Our vacation started the minute "Bert" picked us up from the airport. What a gent and as well as a font of knowledge! Re-modelling STILL taking place on the ground floor, which made using the facilities interesting, as every time we went to use something it was in a different place. Overall, good hotel in good location and the bus service is great.

We arrived at 3:10pm (check-in is at 3:00) and waited until 6:00pm to get in our room. The best excuse they could give was they were very busy the night before. We were told it would be only a 30 minute wait, but was nearly 2 hours! Then, we get to the room and we had been "upgraded" to the fastest internet in the hotel because of our wait and we were running below 1mbps! The Embassy Suites in Seattle is as good as any Embassy Suites I have stayed at with a few exceptions. The hotel is remodeling, so there was always one elevator out of order, and construction equipment all over. The other issue was the internet service was very poor. When I look for a hotel in my travels I always look for an Embassy Suite hotel. When it works out I have never been disappointed. The Sea Tac Embassy Suites was wonderful. I believe the girl that checked us in was named Morgan, she was friendly and fast. All Embassy Suites have two room suites so this hotel was perfect for the three of us. As other Embassy Suites they had a great Manager reception. The bartender was very friendly and fast. I am sorry that I didn't get her name so I could ... Read more

It is the little things that stop me giving this hotel a 4 rating, but as in most cases it is the little things that count. Room was OK although a slightly strange smell was there when we first went in - like strong cleanser. Every time I went near reception it was busy, which is life, but when people are queuing and they deal with people (with no manners) who just walk up to the desk that is not good service! Breakfast was good, hot food was hot and selection reasonable but they need to sort ou... Read more

The staff person who checked us in was rude, had a bad attitude and was very short with us and not friendly or nice at all. She was downright disrespectful. We had room 319--as far from the elevator as possible. Then, we were awakened all night long by an extremely loud train and horn that came through numerous times and could be heard in our room and woke us up every time. It was really horrible because we had to wake up early after this and catch a 7:30 am shuttle to the airport.

This is a classic Embassy but they offer free shuttle from Seatac as well as shopping centers within a 5 mile radius. We were planning on using public transportation to Pier 91 but Bert told us they have an outside shuttle for $15 per person. We had an issue with TSA locking our suitcase and no key; maintenance responded quickly and cut the lock. Great free breakfast.

It's not a city center hotel (absolutely), but it's is not a problem to go there every day (next time we'll go to Seattle we are going to go to this EMBASSY SUITES). All the people in reception, bar... very kind, rooms big enough for a whole family (confortables, quiets...) and the breakfast...mmmmm.

We were heading to Vancouver and stayed the afternoon and night in Seattle to see the sights there. We had a great driver that took us from the airport (they have a shuttle area to call for pickups) though it did take awhile to get picked up but it was rush hour. He was informative and told us how to get on the metro train to take it to downtown for dinner. The reception desk people were very kind and held our luggage until the room was ready so we could get out and see the sights. As with a... Read more

Great place to stay, meet friends and travel. We left from there and took a cruise to Alaska. Seattle is a beautiful city. We were located in great hotel, with things to do. Dinner was easy and there was tons of shopping across the street at the best mall in Seattle. Hotel was clean and very good price with all the perks. Breakfast and evening reception was amazing, lot of good food and drinks too. We will use this hotel again real soon.

The Embassy Suites never fails to do a great job. The breakfast is phenomenal and who can complain about the happy hour! We were tired on our arrival day, so just lazed around and decided to eat at The Bistro in the hotel. It is a MUST. The clams were fantastic and the lamb pops were divine. They have a special from 4-7 on appetizers and drinks, and all were excellent. Glass of wine, well drink or beer were only $5 during that time too. Fantastic value for hotel and the restaurant.

Do not stay at this hotel until the remodel of the rooms has been completed. The rooms are old with stained furniture, uncomfortable beds and carpet that smells. The best thing about the hotel is the front desk and housekeeping really tried. In its current state the rooms are very overpriced for the condition.
