Surprised that you had no plug ins for smart phones and other smart devices. In a modern hotel elsewhere this would not be an issue as most have a bedside device that supports both plug ins for 120v plugs and USB

This hotel is older and dated. The rooms are very clean. The conference rooms and catered meal were excellent!!! The front desk does not have enough people working and you will wait about an hour to check in. This hotel would have been above average, but the front desk needs a lot of work. If you are a Hilton Honors member, they really don't care. There is a line for you and they do not tend to it.

I stay frequently at Hilton brand hotels when I travel on business and pleasure. My experience at Hilton properties is generally excellent. We stayed at the Doubletree by Hilton Seattle Airport two nights/stays on May 14 and May 16.The problems at the Doubletree by Hilton Seattle Airport began at check-in. I went to the HHonors check-in line for priority check-in. However, nobody was taking care of that line. There were 3 agents at the regular line, none of whom ever bothered to handle customers ... This hotel is pretty much right across the street from the airport and maybe 20-30 mins from downtown Seattle. Good location and convenient for a quick trip. It is a large hotel though with a lot of guests coming and going. My issues: Checking in: We got there around 10am after a 6 hour flight and 3 hour time difference and just wanted to sleep. Attempted to check in early ( check in at 3pm) but were told there would be a $24 charge for checking in before 11am. Fair enough- we waited an hour b... Read more

Overall this hotel was very disappointing and not a typical Hilton standard of service. I will never stay at this hotel again. The actual Hilton down the road (where I normally stay) is a much better hotel and I highly recommend that or the Marriott if needing to stay close to the airport.

This is a big confusing place. The layout is just plain awkward. The rooms are nice but lack things like a refrigerator. The Internet connection was very sporadic, it kicked me off all the time, every 3 minutes. The air conditioner had trouble cooling my room when warm outside. The water took about 5 minutes to get hot, not good when you have to get up early. The hotel shuttle van is always crowded and does not run on schedule.

Rude check in, overcharges for room and services will not stay here again. Really resent having to add 200 characters just to put in a peer review of this facility. The staff was rude and unpleasant and the facility was overrated the room was crummy for an upgraded room.

Rude staff. They checked me into an occupied room, and double charged my credit card. Took forevor to resolve. It was just one thing after another. By the end I had several amenities comped, but what I really wanted was a hassle-free experience.

It was clean as far as I could tell but the parking is irritating and they weren't overly friendly. I was put off by the waitress in the restaurant that felt talking to another table at length was more important than seeing if I'd even like a drink of water. It took 4 flying hours, 3 driving hours and miscellaneous other time to get there so it would have been nice to at least be acknowledged within oh 5 to 10 minutes of being seated. The flatbread wasn't really flatbread either although it tast... Read more

Stayed here many times in past. This visit was awful. Front desk clerk rude, got to room and pile of dirty laundry was sitting on floor, hall littered with room service trays with old congealed food. Then they moved me to an old out of date room. Mismatched furniture, visible cords everywhere, generally icky. Considering I am a hilton Diamond level member, i can't imagine what would happen if you weren't!.

I paid close to $400 for a room on a Thursday night. I did it for connivance because of how close the property is to the airport and waking up at 330am to catch a 550am flight is bad enough. The hotel and grounds itself are a bit dated, but I did not notice anything such as wires or cords, or excise dirt. I was upgraded to a higher floor that had a balcony, which was great. The room extremely dated, no where to plug in my phone without hunting down an outlet. The bathroom was fine. My room... Read more

It was a quick overnight for my family before a flight, but we enjoyed ourselves. The property has a central tower as well as some outer building connected by walkways.(Long hallways, really...everything that I saw was inside.) I've stayed at this property many times over the years, from it's original identity as a Red Lion. This recent stay was to be primarily close to the airport to catch a morning flight back to the east coast and to turn in a Hertz rental and escape the new rental car return system now in place at Sea-Tac. Unfortunately about a year ago, according to a desk clerk, the Hertz counter left the property. More on that later. First, we stayed in the old wing of the property, The walk to building 4 is... Well-located, right on bus line 574 to Federal Way, Tacoma, and Lakewood. You could walk to the airport (they also have an infrequent shuttle). We stayed the night prior to leaving on our cruise to Alaska on Princess cruise lines. The hotel is quite large and there is a considerable walk from the check-in and main lobby. The hotel was clean but some areas showed its age. We left our car there for the week while we were on the cruise and there were no problems. Our package included a shuttle from the hotel to the port but surprisingly not from the port back to the hotel.

In my 50 years on this earth I have never given a bad review. Stayed here twice (2nd time was by mistake). First of all, getting to your hotel room can be described as "planes, trains and automobiles" you will go in and out of buildings, through lobbies, up and down stairs (hauling heavy suitcases). Do not valet your car (made that mistake the first time). Then when you do go to park, good luck getting a parking spot anywhere near your room. BEST PART? Each time I've stayed here, once I fi... The hotel is dated, but the Tower rooms are very nice. The breakfast buffet is EXCELLENT and the Starbucks coffee shop right there in the lobby is very handy. This is a busy hotel with groups and tours, so there's a lot of activity coming and going and the parking lot is always full.

We stayed here July 26th 2016 , we had a great experience. Things were a little expensive but it's probably because they're next to the airport. We actually we're going to stay at Marriott but they had over booked their rooms so they took care of our room for us. We actually enjoyed ourselves and would stay here again. The staff is courteous and their rooms are really nice. But they should get rid of the paying for parking.

We try to always use Hilton affiliated hotels when we travel. This hotel has an excellent and friendly staff. Received multiple text messages ensuring our arrival time and making sure we were oaky. Once we arrived they were very friendly and helpful. The only minus was the map of the hotel, it was a bit hard to locate our room but once we found it, the room was very comfortable. We stayed here overnight on the way back from Hawaii before flying home the next day. We chose it for the proximity to the airport and because we knew we would want a quick dinner on site since we had to get up early the next morning to catch our flight. The hotel is definitely showing its age, and the one restaurant that was open did not appeal to us. So glad we found Mango's across the street. "Resort like setting" is really pushing it. I was put up at the Doubletree when I missed a flight, and the staff were very friendly. The room was clean, the bed was very soft, and the warm cookies at check-in were welcoming. The shuttle was convenient, and the hotel is very close to the airport.

This property seemed a bit tired. I'm a frequent business traveler and Hilton Honors member. Was surprised my room on the 6th floor overlooked the trash and housekeeping area. Exhausted from a long day of travel and meetings so i ordered room service. Food was delicious but much pricier than other, nicer hotels. $50 for a burger, fries and a beer. wow. Shuttle service was excellent and staff was very nice. Undecided if I'll stay her next time.

We stayed two nights, came to Seattle for a college game, room was first floor, bathroom vent falling out room 2161, had to call security due the noisy guest after midnight. Reception rude at check in didn't want to be helpful. We really are sorry we stayed and used our Hilton honor points to stay. Won't be back

We booked 2 rooms for a stay and park package. We checked in all was fine. When we went to check out she said there was a $16 charge for parking which was not correct and removed it and simply said you will pay when you return. Went on a 5 day family vacation. Returned and were charged $72 for parking???? Not what we booked! We booked and it said $25 for parking with the stay. We are HH members and I don't know that we will further use this brand after this issue. We did not argue the po... Read more

Didn't take my Hilton Honors at check in, was told I had to give them my HH number at check-out. Don't know if I ever received points for that stay. Toilet wouldn't flush Friday, called an they came to "fix it". Had to call again on Saturday.

Great location. Definitely has great potential. Just need to work on customer service and do some maintenance on the rooms. Pet-friendly only means they allow you to have a pet in your room. Absolutely no grassy area/pet area on the property and staffs only suggestion was to take our dog to their paved parking lot or down the street to some other business property they did not own for our dog to relieve herself.

Gold level stayed 1 night/2 rooms Nov 2016. The hotel is about 1 mile from the airport and the free hotel shuttle bus is large and comfortable. They run every 20 minutes starting on the hour 24/7 and it takes about 5 minutes to make the trip. The drivers are very courteous. The hotel has automated phone instructions clearly telling you where to stand to catch the shuttle. It was easy. The hotel is very large with rooms in the tower and multiple separate buildings (not sure if any are attached to... Read more

Had an excellent stay in what has become one of my favorite hotels. The place is big, sprawling and busy, but has a unique charm to it that cannot be compared with many other properties. For starters, when you arrive at the hotel, even though you are in the midst of the city, you are quickly reminded that you are in the Pacific Northwest, one of the most beautiful places in the world. The entry way is done in wood and stone with beautiful carvings paying tribute to the rich Native American hist... Read more

We had an overnight stay so we didn't have to fly all night and were simply looking for a place to lay our heads. This certainly fits that bill well...an airport shuttle makes life a little easier, and unlike some airport locations, there is an in house restaurant and lounge. Not the best meal I've had in Seattle by any stretch, but decent. There is also a coffee shop that opens early so you can caffeinate before your flight. The rooms are bit dated and ours seemed quite loud due to the ai... Read more

I never get too excited about staying at an airport hotel, and I wasn't too jazzed about the Doubletree, but I had a surprisingly good stay. I caught the shuttle at the airport terminal, no issues there, and was expecting to have to hike 15 minutes to my room. When it's a place with 6-8 separate buildings - sometimes you spend 15 minutes just trying to FIND the room. I actually found it quickly and using my Hilton Honors app I was excited (pathetic, huh?) to use my "Digital Key". Here I had ... Read more

Reception staff were very efficient and accommodated our request to stay in a room with a view of the lake. Hotel is very clean and surprisingly quiet located next to airport. Shuttle to and from airport is a nice amenity. Always appreciate the cookie treat!

Great location, easy shuttle, friendly staff, and clean rooms. We had a layover between Michigan and Oahu and needed to accommodate our family for one night. We had breakfast before leaving and were able to find selections for a son with food allergies. Thank you!

Poor internet connection. Large tower room with wraparound balcony. Comfortable. Front desk staff very friendly and helpful. Gift shop on premises. Convention going on so it was extremely difficult to wade through the crowds of people to get to the elevators after checking in. Restaurant on site and they offered room service although I didn't take advantage of it. Outlet on bedside lamp didn't work so that was inconvenient for charging. No statement under the door nor emailed before check-out so... Read more

Arrived late at night - desk staff more interested in flight crew than paying guests. This is a sprawling hotel - some rooms 10 minute walk from lobby. Had a choice of a close by room with a three flight stair climb due to broken elevator, or walk to one of the furthest rooms. Two elevators and 10 minutes later arrived at room. Hallways smell strong of mildew as do guest rooms. Pillow smell strongly of purine/ deodorizer. This hotel is old and tired - needed renovation and update years ago- if t... Read more

I wouldn't stay at this hotel for a long stretch, but for overnight it was decent. The room was a little shabby, but the beds were comfortable. Noise from a large group of people in the atrium below might have been bothersome for those sleeping on the sofabed in the living room if were weren't so exhausted from traveling, and the bedroom itself was quiet. It was close to the airport and the staff were very friendly, so it serve its purpose well.
