Very friendly & helpful front desk staff & bellman. Hotel is old but nicely refurbished & very clean. Restaurants & Pikes Street market are a 15 minute walk away as is the old town. Ground transportation is great with plenty of busses, taxis & Uber which we used a lot. Front steps are very steep & difficult with a suitcase but the bellman are quick to respond & help. Be aware the street address for a GPS is 310 Cherry Street & it's a one way street. We stayed here twice & the beds are very comf... Read more

Stayed here for a couple days prior to a cruise. The hotel decor is amazing. Room was huge as was the bathroom. Loved the French press coffee in the room. Staff was helpful and accommodating. Surprisingly quiet considering we were on the third floor. Local to so much and enjoyed walking around downtown.

Helpful & friendly front desk staff & bellman. Hotel is old but nicely refurbished & clean. Good location for restaurants within walking distance, old town & Pikes St. market. Would stay here again. Only negative (not the Hotels fault) but the front steps are very steep & difficult with a suitcase although the bellman were quick to help.

The hotel was very beautifully designed. If you get hot easily at night then it is probably not for you. The room was cool but not cold enough for my tastes. Early check-in was not available to us, I suggest you call ahead if you wish to do this. The cookies were good and staff was always friendly and very helpful. If I traveled to Seattle again I would stay here again. Very close to the light rail, about a 15-20 minute walk to Pikes Place.

Large vintage room. Good base to explore Seattle from. Warm cookie on arrival is always a nice touch from Double Tree. The air con was horribly noisy and the hotel felt a bit pompous. In a hotel of this standard and price, room wifi should be complimentary with the cost of the room.

The location was great but the hotel needs a bit of upgrades. The beds very comfortable. Our room was close to the elevator and somewhat noisy during the night. Overall, it was a good stay! Able to walk to Pike's Market and the Columbia Center. Good restaurants within walking distance as well.

Son and I came in for a long weekend of baseball. Flew in and took the train into Pioneer Square station, came up and the hotel was right across the street. That station was also two very quick stops from Safeco Park. Couldn't have been more convenient. Hotel was very nice, two queen room was nicely appointed for refurbished old-style hotel, with very good beds, good linens. Very quiet. Good bar too. No complaints. Would happily stay there again.

We were only in Seattle for a 3 day weekend. Conveniently located a few blocks from the water and surrounded by parks and tour opportunities it was perfect for our whirlwind tour. The hotel, a former men's club, retained its musky allure with dim lighting, a cozy fire, comfortable chairs, a six foot (or so)polar bear and pictures of the prior members. Room 802 has plenty of light but movies our hostess said no room had a view but I would think those facing streets would be better. Although ... Read more

This hotel has a convenient location. They go to lengths to let you know the address to use for GPS navigation. Know that the address requires steep stairs to the lobby so is not good for handicapped people. My kids, who are in their 30s, called this place the old white men's club because the walls in the lobby are lined with countless photos of same. Our room included 2 framed pictures of native people, which was some balance. The bed and bathroom were excellent. The sofa-bed was average (t... Read more

As with all historic hotels, part of the mystique is its history. Some people are very into that. I am not really, but selected this hotel because I saw it as convenient for my needs in Seattle when I visited. I typically select newer properties and am biased toward them. Nonetheless, this was a well-maintained property overall. Alaskan marble stariwells, 27 molded walrus heads wrapping around the third floor exterior and other features. Our 3 night stay at the Arctic Club Seattle was exceptional at every turn. The decor was classic and fit with the history of the hotel. Over our three days there we kept discovering details we had not seen before - the collars and hats on display at the front desk, to the Dome room which we peeked in on, to the pool table in the bar area, to the maps and books in the lobby area. I needed a room that had a tub, not just a shower. For that, you need to book a spa room, which has a larger tub with jacuzzi jets. Those rooms are all on the top floor, which is also a nice location, and they have a balcony. The balcony wraps around two sides of the building and is one continuous shared balcony, so you need to be mindful of guests in adjacent rooms. I also requested a small frig and got it immediately. This hotel is very attractive, a beautiful historic building...but, the rooms face onto very noisy streets. Seattle must have either a lot of crime or frequent fires because emergency vehicle sirens make noise all day and all night; it was extremely difficult to sleep. There is also a lot of construction nearby, so between that, the sirens and the street traffic noise (which was made worse by heavy trucks chugging by at all hours), I can't recommend this hotel. As with any hotel in downtown Seattle, the Arctic Club is not cheap. It is in a great location at 3rd and Cherry. If you're going to any sporting events at Safeco or CenturyLink it's a 10-15 minute easy walk. It's relatively close to Pike Place and the malls on the northern side of downtown as well. One thing about Seattle's downtown is it's not yet a livable downtown so the streets are amazingly empty at times. There are condo developments going up but it'll be awhile before it's a vibrant... Downtown location means close to the sites, but super expensive overnight car parking so be prepared. This hotel was a men's club built in 1917. The rooms are very periodesque and very well appointed. The room we had was large with 10 foot ceilings and wonderful wood mounding. This is a historic building and by far the nicest double tree I have ever seen. There is a vacant lot across the street that is quite unsightly, looks like it has been like that for 10 years.

We were sent there as a suggestion for a place near the stadium, and while we enjoyed the drinks, we found the food to be a letdown, especially considering the price. I was told it was a historic bar of some sort, but it didn't exude much atmosphere. Don't go out of your way for this place.

Beautiful historical hotel easily accessible to the Line and Pike Market. You will not be disappointed with this unique property and terrific staff! The beds are terrific, huge bathrooms, tons of charm

Our stay at the Artic Club was outstanding. Great room service and they accommodated us with an early check in. They also did the same for some of our other guest to our wedding. (Noted: our wedding was not held at the Artic Club) The bed was super comfy, along with the robes and slippers provided. Could not have asked for a better experience. The views from the suite balcony were so wonderful. We had a great time hanging out in the bar in the evening. Over all, if you like old world charm it??... Read more

My husband and I recently visited Seattle for the first time. I found this hotel online mostly by accident. I grew up in the hotel world so I love things that are different from the standard 'chain' hotels. We loved the Arctic Club! It was fun, quirky, historic, and the staff was great, everything we would want in hotel. The only problem is parking - especially considering how expensive the rooms are to begin with. We parked in the public parking garage directly behind the hotel thinki... Read more

The hotel is perfect for business travelers, really quiet particularly at night. Public transportation stopped right at the rear entrance of the building. The restaurant had a limited menu, but the food was good. I would not recommend for families.

The hotel was very quaint but decorated nicely. The rooms were very spacious and the service was excellent and the personnel were very nice. The only complaint I would have was that they did not have any provision for parking other than their valet. We ended up parking in a public garage next door that smelled really bad.

My wife and I recently stayed in the hotel for a wedding we attended. We were very impressed by the older early 20th century styling of the hotel. The rooms were very comfortable and we really do not have anything to complain about. It was very conveniently located to other sites we visited downtown. We would recommend this hotel if we came back to Seattle again (which we plan on).
