Good Beds, easy to find. Rode the train from the airport for about $3.50, walked there in about 3 blocks. As a hotel we loved it. tried to go to the bar on the 2nd floor and it didn't look very comfortable or inviting so we walked to Shucks(a couple blocks or less) that was a better environment for us. The work out room in hotel has all you need. I would stay here again!

Hotel is located slightly further East than most of the other major hotels but still easy to work from most locations you might want to visit. Reception experience was ok, although our room was not ready when we arrived about 3pm. Room was good, although the air con was quite load at night. Executive Lounge charged for beer and wine and food selection was quite limited particularly in the evening. Didn't eat at restaurant so can't comment.

The Crown Plaza is just off I-5 exit. They offer valet parking, $50 or so a night, parking garage a block away, $30 something a night, or street parking, but you need to feed the meter during the day. The entrance was nice with a bank of elevators. The elevators tend to be slow so we found ourselves waiting a lot for them to arrive. The room was comfortable and the beds were great! Work out room offers a good variety of stations and cardio. They also offer free towels and scented towels (pinkie ... Read more

Two couples traveled together, spending one night at the Crowne Plaza before getting on a small-ship cruise the following day. Our two rooms - one on the club level, one an executive suite with club privileges - were excellent; comfortable and clean. Other than that, the hotel was really "eh." The elevators are incredibly slow to arrive and positioned so they are easy to miss when they do show up. The staff seemed friendly enough, but no one seemed particularly anxious to help - or even smile.... Read more

The hotel was very nice and the staff were terrific...due to Seattle's hilly nature it is a little bit further from the waterfront than other hotels...we had terrific beds and I liked that we could order different pillows depending upon what sort of sleeper we were...very unusual and appreciated.

My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights and were very impressed by the hotel and its approach to valuing IHG members. Its not slap bang in the centre of town but given the crowds of tourists that congregate around the market area, we didnt think this was a bad thing. There are plenty of dining options in close walking distance if you can't be bothered walking too far. The rooms are clean, well presented and extremely generous in size and we were lucky enough to be given a room with a view of... Read more

I chose Crowne Plaza because I've stayed in others and had good experiences and the price was right. When we got there, the hotel exceeded my expectations. It was 5 blocks-ish from the waterfront and located relatively centrally North/South so everything was pretty convenient. The staff was friendly and the lobby is beautiful. We got to our room and it too was well appointed -- including a menu of pillow options, a "restful night's sleep" kit with bed spray and foot cream, and aromatherapy shamp... Read more

We live in the Seattle area but for a fun event downtown, we stayed here for the night in order to not have to worry about drinking and driving. We stay with this chain quite a bit on points. We had a free night so why not use it?! This is a very nice hotel. They let us bring our dog for a small pet fee and it was quiet. The rooms and lobby were immaculate. We had a free brunch the next morning so we carb loaded on bagels and muffins and yogurt. We would totally stay here again. A very p... Read more

When I walked into the lobby of this hotel, I thought that it was the ugliest hotel lobby I've ever seen. Check-in time is 4PM and I arrived at around 2:15PM. My room wasn't ready (I know I was there before check-in, but rooms are usually available that late in the afternoon in high end hotels). The sent me to the one restaurant that was open. Needed a place to stay for one night while in Seattle. Chose the Crowne Plaza because the location was good, and it was one of the more reasonably priced hotels. It was within walking distance of the Space Needle and the Market. We were able to pay in advance for parking, which made it very reasonable (I think we paid under $20 for prepaid parking and it's over $50 if you do it there). Before I start the review: Location is really good, but there are a couple of other hotels offering this same "upside" close by. A couple of information to put some color on the disappointment to be reported: - I called to the hotel 2 weeks before our check in, in order to asked if I could send a couple of packages, mainly from Amazon; ... We stayed here for a weekend in July, and everything was very nice. The bed was comfortable. The shower had good water pressure. The fitness center was usable. The staff members were friendly and helpful. The room was spacious (we had a suite.) The room was also quiet--we heard very little hallway noise. I was a bit hesitant to stay here, given some of the less-than-stellar reviews, but overall, I thought it was a good place to stay for a Seattle weekend. No hotel is perfect, of course, and the... We stayed for two nights on our way up to a wedding in Snohomish. Very comfortable room, large, nice bathroom, great shower. We stayed at another IHG property, Holiday Inn in Downtown Everett and the quality of bed, bath, room size was far superior here. Wish parking was a bit more reasonable, but it seems to be high everywhere in the city. All of the staff, including the valet staff, concierge, housekeeping, and front desk were top notch and super friendly!

Pros: Location View Cons: Poor Service VIP Lounge has mediocre offerings Small Lobby Rooms are very basic, even on the executive levels Other thoughts: Received an upgrade for my IHG Gold Ambassador status, room had a view of freeway and construction. Was not an upgrade. Had to exchange key because did not grant access to VIP lounge. Was not informed of hours for breakfast or location of lounge on arrival. Very rushed and clearly mistakes were made. Overall, not a terrible experience, not su... Read more

We stayed here for one night at the start of our tour of Canada and the States and were much impressed by the staff on reception in particular, who were extremely helpful and good at their job. The room was fantastic - a corner room, high up so that we has a spectacular view of the city by day and by night. Try and get one of these if you can. The location of the hotel itself was not bad, although we always seemed to have to go uphill to get back to it from wherever we had been (which could be a... Read more

The hotel, in general, is nice. Well maintained. Clean. Good sized rooms for the price and this is the first bathroom I've been in for a while where all the faucets worked! The rooms and the quality of the bedding was worth it. Even being on the 6th floor, our view of downtown was lovely. We had some interaction with the staff, and each time they were courteous and friendly. They had some great insight into downtown and the wharf that were outside of the "tourist" areas, which made our trip mo... Read more

I recently stayed here my second time for an overnight visiting after staying in Mt. Rainier National Park for 5 nights, and before taking the Amtrak Coast Starlight from Seattle to LA the next morning. Just like my first stay, the staff at this property here super friendly and the rooms are very nice. I used points on this visit and had a nice room on the top floor. No view of Mt. I travel to Seattle for work frequently and have stayed in multiple hotels there, this one is meh. Room was clean and comfortable but it over looks the freeway. The elevators are slow and the room service is terrible and I do not recommend. The wifi has some trouble but overall I was able to connect even if I got a little frustrated before doing it. The biggest thing is that the location stinks. It is a bit of a walk to everything I needed and that uphill climb back to the hotel is not fun. Over... Read more

A very nice place to stay for seeing Seattle. Front desk and concierge staff were very friendly, yet professional. We stayed here for a couple nights after a cruise. Rate was reasonable, room was very nice. Bed came with various types of sleep pillows, which we really liked. I'm a stomach sleeper and wife is a side sleeper. Clean and neat. We did not want to rent a car so after reading some reviews and knowing the location of this hotel which is within walking distance from the rail station, we've decided to stay at this hotel. We made the right choice. The hotel is 3 blocks away from the station. It is uphill but it's not as steep as we've expected. Could be a bit of a challenge for those that have problems with walking. We had such a good time. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. We booked the hotel for one night with points and they took care of us like we paid the full price. We told them that we were celebrating our anniversary after a cruise and they send to our room a couple of desserts and drink. This is great service mentality. It makes you keep talking about the experience and keep the memories.

Stayed in September for 4 nights. Warm welcome from the reception staff upon arrival and were given a choice of floors. Got a room on the 30th floor with amazing views over Seattle sound and the space needle. Very comfortable big room and lifts were quick considering the high floor level we were on. Only down side was asked for some extra tea bags for room and never got them, even the bar could not help. I stayed here for 3 nights and given its location in the Downtown area, I was a few blocks away from all major shopping and sightseeing. Nice big rooms, and I would recommend asking for one with a city view. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars was due to the slow service I experienced when I asked for shower caps (which were not provided in the room already and had to be called for!) Wifi was fast and so were the elevators. The staff at the entrance was nice and helpful

Crowne Plaza Seattle claims business travellers as a major market. They certainly charge the ‚??business premium‚?? on food and beverage, especially on in-room food and beverage.
