Being a Marriott Platinum member, I end up spending a lot of time staying in hotels and have to say that this has been the worst Marriott I have ever encountered! Even though my conference was in a Crowne Plaza down the road - I opted to stay here just due to loyalty and all I can say is I wish I hadn't! The checkin was quick but they did not get my credit card right despite the fact I handed it over to the lady checking me in! So they ended up placing a $1000 hold on another card which is exa... We spent a layover night here and loved it. The bar was hopping when we got in. There were three different dining areas to choose from. The indoor pool was really beautiful. Because of the decor, it felt more like an outdoor pool. Why not a 5? The rooms and especially the bathroom felt small for a Marriott. Fine if u r just traveling through.

Great room with comfortable bed and good shower. Room was not sound proof as heard air traffic until about 11 pm. Easy access to local area. Close to the local bus and train station if no car. Parking was costly but was nice to have valet parking. Loved the enclosed pool and restaurant on site. Starbucks on site also so getting morning and afternoon coffee handy.

I do love the whole cabin/lodge design of this hotel with the wood beams, fireplaces, etc. but I was here for work and getting a good night's sleep was paramount. Beware of Noise: I got a room that faced the street and parking lot. Street noise was never an issue because the hotel's large air conditioning system that sat on the conference/banquet room roof was so loud. Fortunately, it is a consistent drone so if you like white noise, it may work to your advantage. Unless, you have a room like ... Read more

First stay at this property. I'm a Hyatt Diamond member so I usually stay at Hyatt however I just got a Marriott Gold membership so Marriott is my second choice when there is no convenient Hyatt. I loved the convenient location right next to the airport. The check in staff was super friendly and had my room ready right when I arrived even though it was early check in. Room was clean and comfortable... but that pool in the atrium... YIKES! There were around 30 kids running around, yelling until the pool closed. I mean, 20 or so sitting in the hot tub (that couldn't be a clean thing). It seems they allow school groups to come use the pool area on Saturday evenings. Well, that's great if you are an adult needing a quiet stay before a 4am flight. Finally I was moved to a room in the tower -- you want to ask for the tower eighth floor and then you can't hear the k... Read more

We had a semi suite which is nice but a bit worn. My hubby is a platinum member so that is why the suite was offered. We also had comp breakfasts for 2 mornings and Peggy was our waitress. She was great and so cheerful. I only used the hot tub because of quite a few kids in the pool. Not always a good sign if you know what I mean. :>) It all worked out well for us esp. meeting friends one evening for dinner at Anthony's.

Shuttle service picks you up and takes you to the airport; very convenient. Room was fairly quiet, could hear some airport noise but not a lot. Room was clean. Restaurant on site is very good, there's also a convenience store on site if you have to have that late ice cream sandwich! No fridge in the room which was a bit of a letdown. Unless you are a gold or platinum member you will have to pay for Wi-Fi.

I had a room facing the airport. I'd avoid any room facing inward towards the pool based on what I've read. The good is that I didn't really hear the airplane noise of the airport, so if you're a light sleeper due to noise in these rooms you should be fine. Property decor style of the Northwest. Yes, the property is older and the design is definitely dated! However, the staff were good and the rooms / overall hotel was clean. I used the gym on the ground floor. It's a decent size with eno... Above and beyond customer service. Checkin was top notch. My room was nice. Each hotel I stay in I request two extra blankets because I like the air to be cold and cover up with a bunch of blankets. Thermostat was on 68, so I turned it to 60. Still wasn't quite cold enough for me, so I asked for a fan. The atrium/common area is beautiful, however, at night the sound bounces around the ten story enclosed pool/atrium and the hotel rooms surrounding it. The windows in the rooms must not be double-pane as it is difficult to read or sleep with the noise continuing until after 10:30pm.

I love this hotel's location. I can walk to the airport in less than 10 minutes. The hotel itself is fine, nothing to write home about per se, but certainly acceptable. The rooms have been redone fairly recently, there is a pretty good gym, the pool area looks really cool (though I admit I haven't used it). The bar and restaurant are good. I wish they would have more rotating taps. Try the crab melt and the crab chowder, they are really really good. I've had some trouble with the check-in... Read more

bought this on a priceline express deal and it had 4 stars - NOT. No free shuttle from airport. Wi-fi in lobby only - pay for it in room. no free breakfast. Would not recommend it. Staff was friendly however.

Stayed at this Marriott for 1 night on two separate occasions in September. The property appears well maintained. I found the lobby to be open, inviting and comfortable. Check-in was simple and straight forward. The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms (each time with a King bed) were clean and comfortable (everything worked: TV, AC, etc). SEA-TAC airport is close by and transportation from and to the airport was quick and cost $4 per room. I would consider staying there again.

Pretty standard for the airport Marriott. Friendly staff, good facilities, comfortable large rooms with comfortable beds. Free shuttle service to the airport and the center atrium is very nice. Not too much in the area but the light rail is close by.

I was bitten by bed bugs on the 17th of Sept in room 333. I called hotel and they were not at all concerned. I visited my Dr and had this confirmed and had to get medication. I also stayed in room 459 on the 18th of Sept.

We loved our stay at the Seattle Airport Marriott. It was a perfect location for us to pick up a family member from the airport. The room was nice. Hotel is within walking distance of 7-11. The pool was nice and so was the hot tub. The only issue we found was that the parking was EXPENSIVE!! This is the only reason we haven't been back yet but are hoping to go back soon.

Hotel is dark and dreary. Staff very unhelpful. Asked how we would be able to get to another Marriott hotel in the city from SeaTac "don't know" was the response. Probably followed by an "I don't care" as that was the attitude. Several questions, always the same answer. The room was okay, nothing special. The restaurant was service was fair, food not good, selection poor. Had originally booked for 3 nights, stayed the one and canceled the rest. Stayed at Courtyard downtown, where they know wh... I've done a lot of travel in my business, and this place has a lot of appeal when you look at its decor (both inside & out). The staff was very professional & courteous, but....talk about charge you for everything you do. Even the discount for our convention was not great. It basically cost me $300 a night with all their fees + taxes & that's with getting a discount. They charged for parking $27 a night (cha-ching), they had valet parking but that just cost you more to tip the valet (cha-Ching),... Read more

This hotel has very nice decor. The lobby is someone of a unique design, and there is a large atrium in the center of the hotel with pool and other amenities. Mobile check in was "relatively" smooth. Would be nice if they didn't have the smoking area near the same place that one parks to check in though. I think one should be able to go about their normal activities in some placed with a "smoke free" policy and not get smoked out. There was another smoker stationed at the other entrance whe... We stayed here for a one night layover. Although the decor was a little dated, the rooms were very spacious and clean. All of the staff, from the front desk to the bartenders, shuttle driver, and bellman, were all very friendly and helpful and offered excellent service. I did notice however the pool and jacuzzis were always very busy and seemed full, not really enjoyable for couples looking for a relaxing dip.

Well located with a convenient airport shuttle are not qualities that redeem this dirty hotel. From the carpets to the dust (see photo taken in the bathroom). Filth abounds. I won't stay here again. The staff is nice and accommodating. The cleaning crew clearly needs training and oversight. I don't need fancy, I do expect cleanliness

We weren't originally planning to stay in a hotel our last night in Washington, but plans constantly change and due to our flight being so early, that's exactly what we ended up doing. This hotel was one of the first ones to pop up when I searched Marriott properties near the airport, and when I arrived, I was blown away! The property is extremely gorgeous with a beautiful atrium and pool in the center of the hotel. My fiance and I were a little frazzled with this being our first time travelling... Read more

If you are traveling early, and are from out of town, this is a great place to stay, We got the package were you can stay the night and leave your vehicle for a week. If you are from out of town, and you want to leave your vehicle, this is the way to go. It's a Marriott, so you know the rooms are clean, and the people are great but on top of that, they take care of your vehicle. There is no hassle involved. The shuttle runs every 15 minutes and you get a good nights sleep before you travel. When... Read more

I planned to get a night's sleep at any hotel near the SeaTac airport so I could catch a very early flight, I was surprised by this hotel. Getting out of my vehicle I was greeted with the words "Welcome My Lord". Michael the doorman has a fascination with sayings, belongs to a society and seems like a really cool guy. Great welcome! Megan at the check was very efficient and helpful. She was also training someone. It is always wonderful to look at these trainees, they all have the deer caught i... Read more

I stayed on a layover at the airport and took a short walk over to the hotel. I loved the decor which had a lodge type of feel to it. Kareem, who checked me in, was very welcoming and was above what most staff are at check in. He wasn't looking to help the customer behind me until he knew for sure that all my questions were answered to the full. Very attentive. The pool and whirlpools inside the atrium were nice and relaxing. My room on the concierge level was clean, comfy and I liked the tall... Read more

We recently attended a kids dance conference at the Seattle Airport Marriott. Frankly, I cannot say enough great things about our experience, the service and the staff. Staff allowed our friends who arrived at 7:30am with kids to check in early. The restaurant served fabulous food, served it quickly and accommodated the kids' schedules. Have stayed here intermittently over the years but was disappointed in this stay. Reception provided no recognition of gold status, one of 2 critical elevators was out of service, room was farthest away from concierge level and other amenities and difficult to find. Found used batteries on the floor, noises from the hallway were annoying as were sounds from adjoining rooms. Add in a lousy shower and the stay was underwhelming. Service in the concierge room was excellent but the food was ave... Read more

Free shuttle from airport. Wonderful room overlooking the beautiful pool area which we loved. Had dinner right by the bar with special drinks by a very personable bartender. The food was delicious. Breakfast was in the dining room with choices. We shared a meal because the portions were so generous. Loved our waitress. Hope to return someday.

The Marriott at Seattle Airport is amazing. The experience totally surprised me. Unlike more modern Marriott's this property still has windows that open. Fresh air. Yes. And very helpful, gracious staff who really care to make your visit special. Area hotels were sold out, or priced to perfection, but I got a reservation. Since I was arriving after many days on the road with little sleep I called at 7am to ask that I be assigned a room available for early check in. Done! I was told my r... Read more

This hotel also offered an exceptional experience thanks to the comfort of the room and the amenities availble to its guests. With many thanks, James Palmer

Aside from being so conveniently located the staff here is phenomenal. I have spent 20+ in sales traveling and staying in all types of hotels for work and pleasure. Today I ended up here for pleasure and Leslie (Assistant Front Office Manager) blew me away. Stayed here one night before flying out. Shuttle from the airport was quick. Inside is amazing with an indoor atrium with pool and patio, that doesn't have the indoor pool feel. This is the second time I've stayed here and this time for a few days. Really convenient for the airport - free shuttle but to be honest if you haven't got luggage the walk of less than half a mile is ok. Likewise the light rail is in between the hotel and the airport. The light rail is clean, Cheap ($6 day ticket) and regular so no need to stay in expensive downtown hotel. Haven't used the pool but judging by shrieks of delight I would say it's good.
