I stayed here after a cruise the night before my flight home. It is clean and seems safe. I was woken up at 3 am by a woman screaming, but then convinced myself that I was dreaming. I was told it was 2 blocks to the light rail - it was more like 6 long blocks, but it was more convenient than waiting for the airport shuttle. The shuttle is a problem. My flight was a 6 am. There was a sign up sheet at the front desk offering trips every hour. I would have liked to take the shuttle at 4:30 but sign... Read more

Close to airport, shuttle arrived within 10 min of our call. Room is adequate. Only two towels but I am sure we could have asked for more if we needed them. My issue was the smell. Room smelled like "carpet fresh" to me... overpowering smell, almost as if to cover up something. thankfully the window opened and it was nice out. Looks as if it is just coffee in the morning.. but not sure. We are only here overnight and leave in the morning.

Get a room which is allied with TripAdvisor grossly overcharged for this room. Otherwise known the hotel was fine for a brief airport overnight. Fast check in. Clean room. A little noisy. Good van service to the airport.

The SeaTac Red Roof has become our go-to location for a late arrival or early departure for Seattle visits. With free Wi-Fi, clean spacious rooms, and no hassle, it's the best bang for our buck. I wouldn't plan my honeymoon here, but it's perfect for a night before/after a long flight.

We flew in around midnight and the airport shuttle came to get us within 15 minutes or so of calling. Nice staff, coffee, and rooms. Really clean beds, could use some vacuuming behind the beds on the floor, but otherwise great place for the price.

The Red Roof inn is a budget hotel. My expectations were, clean, check, close to the airport, check, helpful staff, check, good shuttle to from airport check. Hotel met them all. WiFi in the room kept dropping and was very slow, but free. Would not try to stream anything, but worked for email.

Have stayed at this hotel many times and, as always, it is clean and a good price through "Get a Room." Main elevator wasn't working so had to walk to the one in the parking lot, but that wasn't really a problem. Airport shuttle runs frequently back and forth to airport.

Would stay there again. Rooms clean. Location ok. Not many restaurants in the area. Nothing for kids to do there or in the surrounding area. This motel is good if your just plan on spending the night before or after you come from the airport.

The hotel was very good for what we needed. We only stayed one night. The rooms were clean, the shower had great water pressure, the front desk staff were very friendly, and the shuttle from the airport was quick.

I booked a room at the Red Roof Inn for what was to be a weekend trip to Seattle to visit some family. The night before I was to depart for my trip I had a mountain biking accident and broke my collarbone and was unable to travel. I did not stay at the hotel but I was so impressed that they refunded my full payment (with a doctor's note of course) that I felt is was worth letting people know that they run an upstanding business that you rarely see these days.

Stayed four days for business. Air conditioner did not work, room strongly smelled of mold, hallways of fresh and old paint, stairwells of gasoline and exhaust. Coffee downstairs tasted burnt, no breakfast offered, no restaurant on premises. Main elevator is slow, so many people often took the stairs. Signs read parking for hotel guests only but many shuttle drivers and taxis park, cars idling, waiting, so no parking spaces were ever available at night. Overall the room was clean, but they leave... Read more

We were looking for a not to expensive place to stay in Seattle for 1 night and so according to reviews we choose The Red Inn. The room was clean and the beds comfortable. But.... The main evevator broke down, you had to pay extra if you wanted to use the safe in the room, and the ice machine was broken. The Kleenex was a small purse size package.

My flight was late, very late and I did not get to the hotel until 3 AM. The staff was "kind enough" to give me a "late" checkout of NOON.....so I was lucky enough to stay there for almost NINE hours for over $100......not what I would call a great bang for your buck. As I travel from SEA frequently, I have been looking for a hotel to stay at on a fairly regular basis. Red Roof is DEFINITELY NOT that place.

The Red Roof was a good place to spend a night as we prepared to go on a cruise. Only problem the room we were given had drink cups sitting out that were not picked up. We called the front and they said they would come up and give us another room, which they did. Also would have liked a restaurant on site.Had to walk several blocks to find.We were hungry after a long flight from Dallas.

I was not sure what to expect at this hotel since so many in this chain are terrible, but this particular property was okay for a quick over night between flights. I am a senior citizen (female) traveling alone so convenience and safety are my main concerns. The staff was excellent, the room clean, and I felt very safe. I used their shuttle to go between the airport and hotel. The driver was helpful and kind. My largest complaint is that I felt I was charged a lot for the quality of the roo... Read more

This hotel was close to the airport and has shuttle service to and from SeaTac which was helpful. Though an older hotel it was clean and served it's purpose. Unfortunately this stay followed a night at the Frankfurt airport hotel for virtually the same price and the Frankfurt hotel was absolutely top notch excellent. Red Roof Inn paled in comparison.

We stayed here for 2 days after a trip to Alaska. Red Roof Inn is close to the airport and link light rail station to Seattle. The front desk was helpful printing boarding passes for us and re-booking us on no notice after our flight was cancelled and honoring the airline discount voucher. The shuttle to the airport runs every 20 minutes and the drivers were very pleasant. The light rail is 3 blocks away and sure beats a $40 cab ride to Seattle City Center. Seniors ride for $1, Others only $3.... Read more

A reasonably priced motel near the Sea-Tac airport. They provide free shuttle service to and from the airport which is very nice. The free WiFi worked fine. No breakfast but they provide coffee. I don't know other hotels of this chain but thus one is a bit old but clean. I stay there every time I need to spend a night near the airport.

We stayed here after our recent cruise for 2 nights. It is easy to get to and close to restaurants and stores. The room was ok just kind of old looking. We noticed they are updating some rooms so that is good. We did a couple of loads of laundry and that was nice to have on site. We were surprised that we had to pay to park our rental car in their parking lot for two days though. I would have figured that parking would be included in the price of the room as the price of the room was not cheap. ... Read more

This hotel was prepaid through Hotels.com. They charged my card after I checked out for 62.95. When asked what the charges were for they kept insisting that they have no record of the charge. Ive filed complaints against them with Hotel.com and Bank of America. They are corrupt if they keep your bank card info and continue adding fraudulant charges. DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM.

We have been staying at the Red Roof Inn at SeaTac for a week while in the midst of a move. My wife works late hours to engage with overseas contacts so it is not always convenient to have the housekeeper do the room in the morning. We met Rosita the housekeeper on our floor. She was unbelievably happy and accommodating despite being incredibly busy. She insured we had whatever we needed every day and made our stay very comfortable and made us feel like valued guests. It was my fault - I had reserved one of their nicer king size balcony rooms - but then I screwed up the online reservation by picking the wrong date. They waved the late fee, but were booked to the gills on the date I needed. Stayed in a 2 queen room. No frills room, plenty of outlets, free wi-fi was slow and spotty, but place was probably full of users. The mattress wasn't the most comfortable, but the location - EASY onto SEATAC just under the light at the corner - and lobby staff - they let... Read more

This is the third time we have used Red Roof Inn since 2013 and our first travel over seas. The same funkey carpet smell was present...but not off putting enough to forgo the great value in sleep an convenience. Located next to the Air Port with free transport to and from, plus 2 blocks from a Denney's resturant with great food and service make this a bargain at $89/night. for a double double.

Summary - It's cheap and it shows Poor linens and beds. Thin blankets, old toilet that hardly flushes. Room overlooked run down homes. No business center. Using the PC cost $3 and $0.50 per page to print. It's just not a nice place. Lots of homeless people, no breakfast so you have to walk 2 blocks to Dennys (dennys was good)

We stayed here for our final night of a coastal road trip before our flight home. Our room was clean and spacious and staff were great. They have a computer and printer set up to print your boarding passes. The rental car return facility was within walking distance as well as a few restaurants and stores. The free hotel shuttle took us over to the airport in the morning. Highly recommend this hotel at its very reasonable price.

Another hotel wanted $100 more, which we refused to pay; I regret that decision now! First of all there were people loitering outside when we pulled in. The signs to "lock your car & not leave any valuables in it" & "make sure you deadbolt the door to your room" was worrisome enough. The "cleansing bar" of soap for the shower smelled horrible and the towels felt like sand paper. Bare minimum motel. Get in/Get out. Not a relaxing atmosphere at all. I didn't feel safe leaving the room once I shut the door. For $157, I had a room with 2 queen beds but no mini fridge or microwave. I couldn't open the blinds to let natural light in because the scenery outside my window was not pleasant. It was set back against some lot with overgrown weeds. The garage parking looked like a place where you could easily be robbed, especially at night. Because I had no fridge to keep my d... Read more
