A comfortable hotel and the central location made our attendance at the WSU graduation so much easier. The desk staff were always friendly and we arrived earlier than the regular check in time but they easily accommodated us. I was woken up the first morning to the smell of coffee and that was followed by the smell of bacon. I love bacon but we smelled bacon in the hallway and our room all morning. The next morning I smelled coffee but no bacon because they were serving sausage. The breakfa... Read more

This is a nice Holiday Inn Express: the staff was outstanding, the lobby and hallways were spotless and the decorative window boxes in the halls put a really nice local touch to the atmosphere. We were having medical tests done on our dog at the Washington State University Veterinary Teaching Hospital and had to stay overnight. The hotel was quite accommodating in allowing our dog to stay. It is a very animal friendly hotel as I later saw several dogs a the hotel, who we had seen at W.S.U. Hosp... Read more

Rooms were spacious and the amenities were great: breakfast had a wide selection, long hours, and the coffee never stopped flowing on this busy graduation weekend. For as busy as they were, this hotel met the challenge over and over again. Close to WSU and not far from the University of Idaho. Great location.

The place was very clean, facilities were all nice and every staff member was professional and friendly. If you stay there on graduation week, you will pay a ransom. More expensive than a nice hotel in Los Angeles.

Stayed here 1 night for business and glad I did. Centrally located to everything (I did have a rental car) and super friendly staff. All the normal amenities and a free full breakfast buffet (scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, toast/muffins/cinnamon rolls, juice/coffee/tea/milk, cereals, fresh fruit, etc.). I was on the 2nd floor in the back...Room 257. It was quiet...which I requested. There's a microwave and small refrigerator in the room. Free WiFi. Great accommodations for the price. Al... Read more

My wife and I got tickets to the WSU vs CO game at an auction. The game was a bit of a rivalry for us as my wife went to CO and I went to WSU. It was really fun to go see the game. Only thing was that it was so cold out that my wife didn't get warm until the next morning. The hotel was definitely a great place to stay as they had a good shuttle service and also good accommodations. Would definitely stay here again if we make it back for another college game.

My son was here to enroll in a summer program with housing in the dorm. I stayed one night here, and it was very comfortable! The room was nice, & it is conveniently located near WSU....a 6 minute drive to the stadium, probably a 15 minute walk. There is a free shuttle to the airport with a nice business center for printing out boarding passes. Breakfast was good with a nice selection of both cold & hot items.

I stayed at the Holiday Inn when I interviewed in 2013 for my job at WSU. It was a nice hotel. The lobby was a little bigger than a lot of lobbies in some of the Holiday Inn Expresses I've been in, probably because it is combined with the breakfast area. I'm not a fan of the lobby breakfast setup, but the breakfast included hot items, and this was good, and definitely convenient since we had the kids with us. On the evening before my interview, I prepped out in the foyer and, at that time of e... Read more

I wasn't even sure that this hotel wasn't new, except that they didn't replace some of the hardware (it was very dated), and the final proof was the old wallpaper between the mirror and vanity in the bathroom. The remodel wasn't perfect, but it was enough to make for a pretty modern and clean feel. The location was great, I was very happy with the town (this was my first visit to Pullman), overall I was quite happy with my night here. The room wasn't quite as clean as I would have liked, and ... Read more

The lobby was huge, well furnished and even featured a fully stocked Washington Cougars gift shop. I had booked two rooms and both received upgrades to a suite with a separate sitting area (with wet bar) separated by a short hallway with,, doors on each end, from the bedroom. The bedroom had a nice chair in it as well. The TV in the sitting room was probably 42?? and mounted on a wall opposite the sofa. The bathroom was off a hall between the two doors. This was by far the best room of our ... Read more

The whole town of Pullman shows amazing school spirit, but the hotel even had a gift shop with WSU apparel and vintage school photos on every room number. Room was clean and comfortable. Plenty of parking. Breakfast was good - eggs, turkey sausage and pork sausage (what we call Canadian bacon) and unbelievably good cinnamon rolls. Plenty of tables to eat at. They offer coin laundry, but only one washer/dryer on 2nd floor and one washer/dryer on 3rd floor, so we ended up going to a coin laund... Read more

I've stayed at the Holiday Inn Express several times now. When I first visited Pullman, my reaction was "Really?". It's where the university decided to put me up, and I went with it, but I was a little surprised. Fact of the matter is, there's not very much to choose from in Pullman, and the Holiday Inn Express is probably the best there is. Conveniently located near the WSU campus and some decent restaurants (and across the street from a local frozen yogurt/cupcakery place), the rooms are cle... Read more

We had a wonderful time visiting my alma mater and chose a great hotel to stay at during our trip. The hotel was clean, friendly, updated, had all the right amenities for us and our kids, and very convenient to the school itself. We chose to visit before school began, so the town, school and especially the hotel was very quiet. And the prices were perfect too since we stayed off-peak.

This Holiday Inn Express was the perfect location and great value for staying one night while visiting WSU with our daughter. We arrived at 9pm to check in and were greeted very warmly by the front desk staff. The milk and cookies were still out and a fun snack after our long drive. Clean, comfortable and good location, plus the staff was gracious and happy to help us with extra room amenities and suggestions for restaurants. The hotel was fresh and clean with a spacious lobby and breakfast area. Breakfast was included, and the food was good with many options. WiFi was also free. The hotel seemed to be quite busy and guests appeared to be content with the quality of accommodations and friendly service.

Willing to relocate our room from the back to front without any hassles. Breakfast was a plus so you don't need to go out looking for something to start your day. At night they had cookies to end your day. front desk staff the best.

We were just staying here for a one night stopover. Used our hotel points and got a 1 bedroom king suite. Very nice suite. Just so you know, we didn't have to pay for the room but if we did it would have been about $196 US including taxes. Though it didn't matter to us, its close to WSU. There is also lots of shopping and restaurants close by (within a mile). The King Suite had an interesting layout. You walk into a living area with wet bar, fridge, microwave and sofa bed. First visit to this HIE.If I could I would give this HIE a 4.5 rating. Check-in and out was speedy. Staff very friendly, accommodating, professional, and willing to answer questions. Rate was reasonable considering how close it was to WSU. Also had a WSU store in the lobby, if you are a Cougar. Granted a late check-out. B-fast was typical HIE, which is great. Stayed here while attending a WSU open house and literally everything was perfect. We checked in super late -- like 1:00am and were greeted at the front desk with a girl who had a huge smile and she was so welcoming... awesome. Rooms are spotless, quiet and well appointed. Great morning breakfast and check out isn't until noon! I am a travel consultant with AAA and will recommend this property to all my clients.

We arrived after a long drive from Western Washington, settled into a modern, clean and very comfortable room, precisely what we expected, ahead of a busy work day. We didn't use the pool or gym, but they looked fine. The next day we enjoyed the plentiful breakfast, before leaving in a rush...and forgetting personal items. This is a simple, honest and very accomodating hotel; what really stood out was the genuine welcome on arrival and the efforts to reunite us with our property. Thank you

The staff at this hotel makes the experience. They are the nicest, and most helpful, group that you'll find outside a Disney property. This is definitely an "efficiency" property. You accept the trade-offs that go along with a reasonable price for a comfortable place to stay. However, the people that work there as so nice that they actually elevate this hotel at least a couple of notches in my estimation.
