Wonderful helpful staff. room was big enough and the bed comfortable. Sadly there was no A/C but a large floor fan provided air movement. Nice simple breakfast. Centrally located. View of the Sound and on-site parking

Fantastic stay with large rooms and comfortable beds. The rooms have a mini fridge and microwave and if you get a room on the third floor you will be treated to fantastic views of the straits and also the Olympic mountains all for a very reasonable price. Our room was clean and neutral smelling with no offending fragrances. The linens were clean and pillows comfortable. The location is perfect as you are only one block away from the heart of downtown and all the shops and restaurants. Plus the... Read more

The rooms are small and old and the bedding is old fashioned. The bathroom was also small. It was a typical dated motel. However it is clean, parking is available and the location is convenient. Breakfast was fine.

Our hiking group really enjoyed staying at this hotel for 5 nights while seeing Olympic National Park. Although the facilities may be a bit dated, it was clean, service and advice on area attractions by the entire staff from the manager down was superb and exceptionally friendly. The view over the harbor from our rooms was the crown to our stay (must pay a little more for a room on the top floor overlooking the harbor). A nice feature of the hotel was its convenient location where we could ea... Read more

We had a very nice room. It was larger than most and had a double sized deck with a view of the water. It was clean and I consider it a godsend after the terrible treatment we received at the Red Lion in the same city

This is an older motel which overlooks the harbour. Nothing fancy but certainly functional and clean. Bathroom has been renovated. Staff are friendly and breakfast includes do it yourself hot waffles with cold eggs. Ok for a stopover stay.

Where to start... Pros: from room on the second floor we had perfect view of the bay, ships passing by and scenic views(clear day), close to center of PA, close to shops and restaurants, room appeared to be clean Cons: motel and room is very dated, especially bathroom, altough everything seems to be clean you cant help but feel the room (esp. bathroom, room carpet and bedding) to feel icky. (When was the last time they updated anything?!)Shower is really bad, different temperatures during the ... Read more

The best things about Port Angeles are its proximity to Olympic National Park (ONP), specifically Hurricane Ridge and the ports. It also has a number of decent restaurants, fast food, groceries, gas, etc. I'm torn as to how to describe this hotel, but we thought it was fine - really more than that. You are "up high" and have a great view of the port. There are steep public steps close by that you can take to the main drag. We didn't see any "chain" hotels in this town and were not expecting ... Good little simple inn near the downtown area of Port Angeles. Room was a little tight for a family of 3 but they had a nice little breakfast bar in the morning. The inn is located within walking distance of a lot of dining choices and shops nearby.

We are in room 324 and have excellent water views from our back windows and stunning snow capped mountain views from the entry balcony. We have seen passing cruise liners, enormous cargo ships, vehicular & passenger ferries, pleasure & fishing boats, etc. we can see across the Strait of Juan de Fuca to Mount Vernon. The hotel is in a quiet street just off the main route to Olympic NP, and there is a Safeway 5 mins walk away. Restaurants are close by and it was a short drive to the laundromat. ... Read more

Port Angeles Inn This old fashion three story motel is uphill from the Black Ball Ferry terminal in down town Port Angeles. It's 25 plebeian rooms are well maintained and the staff accommodating and courteous. In our case, we arrived early on our day of departure to Victoria on the Coho, parked next to the Inn, left our bags at the Inn, walked to the terminal, crossed the strait on the MV Coho, spent the night in Victoria and returned late the next day before checking in, finding our luggage ... This is a good place to end up. Clean and tidy on the inside, a little aged on the outside. The older site has just fine insides, at least for a single night stay. If you are staying for more than one or two nights, I don't think this is your best for the money. We did not stay for breakfast, so no comment on that. The shower is my only major issue. The plumbing needs redone. The temp and pressure change with other rooms' showers being run at same time. Freeze, then get scalded, then freeze. Rea... Read more

Good place for a one night stay in Port Angeles. Room was large, with micro and fridge, and bathroom was large with plenty of counter space. Clean but dated d├ęcor; needs fresh comforters and curtains. Good value for the night, staff was friendly and they offered a limited free breakfast.

Port Angeles Inn is one of those unexpected pleasures, a dive motel that is actually very nice inside the rooms. The beds are very comfortable and new, the flat screens have free cable, there is a microwave and fridge in every room. The bathrooms were tiled and remodeled. The place is very quiet at night. The nearby courthouse clock has a very pleasant chime sound, so it won't wake you up. Breakfast was included, but they don't give you eggs or sausage/bacon. The hot waffles are excellent... Read more

Stayed for a night on a trip to Olympic NP which is not far away. Frankly just a bit dated - nothing really wrong - large room, beds were comfortable and the room was clean. No air conditioning but there was a fan in the room. Breakfast very simple but was enough to get you on your way. No complaints We drove to Port Townsend for the evening (about 1 hr away) which was a lot more attractive than Port Angeles

A decent and popular option for exploring Olympic national park. The room was clean, comfy bed and there was a nice view of the harbor. However, the fittings were a bit dated, and the wifi was intermittent. The location is a plus compared to other hotels/motels in Port Angeles, with good dining options within walking distance. Breakfast was so so. Even though it was peak season I thought the tariff was a bit steep for what's essentially a family run motel, ~ $250 a night including Friday and Sat... Read more

My wife and I stayed here for two nights while visiting Olympic National Park. It was the most expensive hotel stay of our trip to the Pacific Northwest ($150/night). The hotel was nice, but needed some work. It wasn't gross, but rather nostalgic. There was no AC, but the room did have a fan. The toilets are powerful and will wake you up if your partner uses it in the middle of the night. We didn't spend a lot of time in the room, but the beds were comfortable and the room was clean. Not sure if... Read more

Great place to stay for the night before taking ferry to Victoria. Close proximity to terminal. Good restaurants within walking distance. Basic complimentary breakfast - no hot eggs. Only complaint is that there is no air conditioning. There is a fan but we were in a corner room and there was no air flow coming in through the window.

ouch, $140 for a dated motel? well I wish I had stayed overnight in Squiem.that's my major complaint. the city has kept out the nicer (modern) chains and all Port Angeles has is old and very NON value for money. nice staff. nicer in Squiem for food also. for sure!!!! the I Hop there is yummy!!!

We were charged $219 and $249 per night for a room that should not have been more than $99. (It would have been even more if they had not waived the pet fee.) The outside hallways were chipped concrete and had not been painted in years. The hot and cold water didn't work correctly and the WiFi would not connect. Spotlights from the roof shone into our room and there was no elevator so we had to carry our luggage up 2 flights. Really disappointing, especially at that price.

Needed a reasonable priced place to stay that was centrally located. Had everything we need plus a great view. Staff friendly and helpful. Being active people we loved the staircase! We could park the car and walk all over the town. Quick to get back to the ferry also.

We stayed here in 2012 and, stayed at a B&B instead of the Port Angeles in 2014, but returned to it for 2 nights in 2016. While still acceptable (or even more so for the view!), this older hotel has suffered some declines that we noted. First, the hotel, although older, is CLEAN and Comfortable and those matter a lot in today's world. The people are extremely pleasant. The baseboard heaters in the room work fine; the water was hot. But technology wise it is extremely dated. The town has install... Read more

There aren't many upscale options in PA and this is better than the Red Lion. It is an older motel and dated but clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast is fairly good. You can make hot waffles but everything else is cold. The breakfast room is small and right off the laundry room but clean. I would stay here again if waiting for the ferry or going out camping in the Park.

If you're looking for a sort of standard, corporate experience, keep looking. I made a reservation with Lacy, who was really nice. She got me a reasonable room. At check in I met...her mom. Both are incredibly nice people. The room was small and sort of basic but there was a refrigerator and a fan. FYI, very few places have AC in Port Angeles and this is no exception. Most of the time, it's not needed. Clean room, older hotel, right by the gorgeous staircase that takes you downtown. And hot waff... Read more

Spent the night here before going to Olympic National Park. Nothing special as far as accommodations go, but a solid option for spending a night on the way to the park. On a hill above downtown Port Angeles, it's a nice view, and, if you can handle stairs, a lot of stairs, a great walk down to the town and ferry area.

Just up the hill from downtown this place is a classic motel with rooms that are small but efficient. You park as near the room as you can and walk into the room from the parking lot. Breakfast is a bit spartan but they have the waffle maker that all Washington hotels seem to have. Room was clean but a bit dated. Refrigerator was handy and the location was perfect. If you are looking for a place to sleep this place functions very well. We used it for two nights while exploring the Hurricane Ridg... Read more

Stayed there two nights while visiting Olympic National Park. We were very happy with the room. We were in room 227 which has a fantastic panoramic view of the harbor. It was a good sized room, well decorated. Although it is an older place, the room had an up to date feel. Clean and airey with a comfortable king bed and a good shower. Descent continental breakfast including waffles. The wifi did not work.
