The room was pretty basic, no frills whatsoever. My only complaint was the pool. So glad to have the opportunity to swim - but it was NOT heated as advertised. It wasn't ice cold either, but it certainly wasn't heated.

Ok place to rest your head! The breakfast person needs help as she could not keep up with the food demands, did not appear to be her fault. Could hear dogs on the 3rd floor, but were quite at night for sleeping.

One of the nicest La Quitas' I have ever stayed in that was not considered a resort location. Great location only 20 minutes from seattle and within 20 minutes from whale watching tours and casinos. Comfortable beds and new flat screen tv and restaurants shopping minutes away.

Enjoyed our stay here. The breakfasts were great (particularly the hashbrown potatoes). Only had one chance to use the hot tub but it was great - the water was hot like we like it, not tepid as you sometimes find at other hotels.

A king bed would have been appreciated but never the less we had a good time. This hotel has great staff especially the Breakfast Lady. Who for two days was always smiling and a large asset to the hotels betterment. The price was great and it was in a good location.

Everything was very good. Quiet. Breakfast was good and always enough and warm. Would use the motel again. The easy chair was not as comfortable as I would have liked. Room was always made up neatly. Bathroom cleaned and well stocked.

The room was quiet for being on the first floor, the hotel is under renovation at the other end and no disturbance was experienced. The staff are very accommodating and helpful. Easy accessible from I5 and near the Alderwood Mall.

This is not a bad hotel. The rooms are clean and comfortable enough. Their website boasts high speed internet but the internet was not working at all when we got there and when it come back up the next day was extremely slow. Breakfast was good but they took the coffee away before breakfast was over. :( So tired... need coffee.

clean room, friendly staff, free breakfast. Location near Edmonds for the whale watching trip. Nothing special, pretty standard LQ experience but consistent and no surprises. Not much else to discuss.

many shortcomings, NOT AN ADA accommodation--VERY POOR! Breakfast below standards as regards quality and freshness Hotel understaffed excellent bed and pillows friendly, albeit inadequate staffing--felt sorry for workers who seem overworked, especially breakfast attendant! Accommodation was severely inadequate for handicapped: tub, toilet handrails not enough storage space for week long visit, probably okay for 1 or 2 days, at best We had to live out of suitcases for the week water flow from sin... We had a two night stay with my parents . The hotel had one disabled parking spot ( really ) the check in desk ( clerks ) were rude and ungrateful and couldn't even thank us for staying . The rooms were okay the bed was comfortable but other than that we rolled with it . My folks had a broken toilet and it took them the next day to fix it :( not good and when asked if they could have a small discount for the inconvenience we were told no can not do that . The breakfast was okay at least they off... Read more

Occasionally life throws you a curve ball and on my trip through to Canada I found out the hotel I had booked would not accept cats but that the neighbouring La Quinta hotel would. I spent a solitary week here and had a delightful time. The front desk clerk, Elena, was beyond helpful. It is rare to encounter this type of five star hotel service outside a five star hotel, but everyone at La Quinta was incredible, but Elena was simply a star. Even the housekeeping staff helped me move things... Read more

Check in was easy. The front desk employee remembered my name from when I called to say my flight was delayed and when I called at 2:30 am to say I finally arrived. Most of the maids don't speak much English, but they are very friendly and try to be helpful. The free breakfast definitely hit the spot every morning from 6/6:30-9/9:30; waffles, cereals, eggs, toast, potatoes, sausage links, coffee, juice, whole fruit, etc. The indoor pool is a fantastic size and the hot tub timer was very short, b... Stayed here for three nights. It was always rather quiet whenever we came in the building. Additionally, the rooms were very clean. Breakfast each morning was fresh and hot. The sitting area for breakfast was a little tight, but the hotel was full so there were a lot of people there. Being right off the interstate made travel easy. My only complaint is trivial - the beds were a tiny bit soft for my tastes. I'd stay here again if I was in the area.

My husband and I were so excited for the room we purchased several weeks in advance - this had a jaccuzi IN THE ROOM, and it cost us about $70 more than just a regular room. After a tiring day of traveling we looked forward to soaking in the hot tub, but low and behold, we were not given the room we booked. There was not jaccuzi. =( We were crushed. Called the front desk, and they said it must have been double booked and said they were sorry, but there was nothing they could do. We will not be b... Read more

It was okay nothing to really highlight as good or bad. Just glad they had an indoor pool. The breakfast okay, but the same thing each day... Not much for vending options or places to walk to for food.

Even though the remodel was recent, the hotel is still in need for more updates. Old elevators, 1970's decoration in the lobby, tiny indoor pool/spa that did not have working lights the first night, even smaller gym with dusty equipments, vending machine are located on the first floor as well as the business center, limited seating space in the dining hall where daily breakfast is served but selection was ok with some offering of a hot meal items. The pros regarding the hotel is the location is ... Read more

Clean rooms and friendly staff. You basically get what you pay for. Their pool is quite big for a hotel of its type. Free hot breakfast is good, along with decent wifi. It's not in the city - it's in the suburb of Lynnwood, which is about ~15minutes north of Seattle.

A non smoking hotel and our room smelled like an ashtray. People smoking in the patio of the pool, right at the doorway. It is pet friendly, at least 50 dogs at any given time, people with 2 and 3 dogs as well. They moved us after several times complaining, but not to a handicapped accessible room although accessible to them meant a board to sit on across the extreme lack of electrical plugs. Two per room and they used multi plug extension cords to accommodate the lamps and TV but there is ... Read more

The hotel grounds are not too bad; the location is not great as there are a lot of panhandlers and transients around. The building itself is very old infrastructure, with extremely worn out furniture, stained carpet everywhere. I was concerned there was mold but didn't investigate. The bed and linen were ok but there were blood stains on walls in bathroom.

Very nice staff, nice room, wish AC was quieter for sleeping. Breakfast included eggs, hash browns, sausage, cereal, bagels, and make your own waffle. Location convenient to I-5. food, and fuel. Would likely stay again.

The bed was fantastic but it didn't compensate for the fact that our room key didn't work four times in a row. We also couldn't get out of our room without being locked out. The staff was helpful, the rooms were clean, and breakfast was decent. The location was fine and has good restaurants really close.

The registrar was very cordial. My key card didn't work, so he ran it again and walked with me to my room to make sure it worked. I had no problems with it after that. The bed was a little stiff for a pillow top, but I was able to sleep on it. I had an ADA room as that's all that was left when I made my reservation. I felt the bed was pretty high as well as the sink if I was disabled. The toilet seat would also slide to the side, exposing the rim. Otherwise, the room was fine. Breakfast ... Read more

I would highly recommend the La Quinta in Lynnwood, WA. It is clean and the rooms are decent for the price. The pool area is nice and the free breakfast is outstanding. It is a good value all around. My only complaint is that the beds are too soft. But for the price you will not find a nicer place to stay near Seattle

Our room was quiet so a good night's sleep and was also clean and well taken care of,; however, the breakfast was sub-standard and the WiFi did not work very well. The location close to Alderwood Mall is very handy.

Hotel is handy for the transit Center - regular buses to Seattle for $3.50. Less for seniors. Rooms have all you need & staff are friendly & helpful. Breakfast was fine though as with many US hotels there was no cereal that didn't have lots of sugar & similarly the yogurts were all sweetened. I'd stay here again & would recommend it.

We have stayed at this location many times and it is always our first choice for lodging. The breakfast is very nice with a lot of options for a meal. I'm sure there will be many more visits to the NW and this will be our first choice for overnight stays.

When you first walk into the spacious room, the way the beds are made, it reminds you of a high-end hotel. The hotel is easy to find and centrally located to many amenities and only about a 25 minute drive to Seattle. Alderwood Mall is close by as is Starbucks and many restaurants. The staff is well-groomed, polite and very helpful and accommodating. Homemade breakfast is great!

The hotel is conveniently located close to Interstates 5 and 405, and Hwy 99. Its location is also quite convenient in regards to proximity to local restaurants and shopping. Specifically, the great bastion of Pacific Northwest retail, Fred Meyer's, is less than two blocks away. During our stay here we dined at the many restaurants surrounding the hotel. Please see my separate reviews concerning. Upon our check-in we noticed that the place was quite abuzz with activity. There seemed to be sever... Read more

The room was large enough that we were not tripping over each other and our dog. There was a great walking path nearby for the dogs morning walk. Beds were very comfortable. We could not hear any noise from above us which aided in a good nights sleep. We requested a no-smoking room and there was not even a hint of smoke smell as we have found in other hotels.

We needed a one night stay in the Edmonds area and this hotel was was a very busy week and the prices were raised accordingly...have to comment that I understand business practices, but the rate was very high for this property.
