Nice hotel. We stayed here before a race that started at the nearby Tacoma Narrows Airport. More of a meeting type hotel. No night time restaurant but that was OK because there were so many places nearby. Checkout was 11am and we could only get the front desk to extend it to 11:30 (on a Sunday no less). We ended up driving home sweaty from the event (live 1 hr away). Usually when we are running in long distance races we get a 1pm checkout so that was kind of a biggie for me but my fault for not ... The rooms are clean the lounge area seems very cozy with a fireplace going. The staff is friendly. I stayed here for a business trip. I did not have time to use any of the amenities. It would have been nice to have the kitchen open up earlier. That is my only complaint.

We felt pampered and our dog welcome. Everything was extremely pleasant. It was cozy and quiet when we wanted with the availability of many amenities like the pool, hot tub, exercise room if we felt so inclined. loved the steam room!!

Overall, we liked this hotel and will stay here again. LOCATION - If you are a Gig Harbor St Anthony's Hospital patient or a patient's family from out of town, this is a great location. They are about 9 minutes to the hospital , have availability to a shuttle to the airport, have a rental car office onsite and offer a great hospital rate. They are tucked a bit off the main road so keep looking for the hotel sign on a placard low on the right hand side of the street. It would be easy to driv... Read more

the place is very clean and well kept. slight highway noise as you are close to freeway access. the best thing is just across the parking lot is the heritage distillery that offers tasting and classes of their vodka, gin and whiskey. the "free continental breakfast left a lot to be desired. Not much of a variety. out of plate had to put my toast on a napkin little disappointed for the price we had to pay.

Hotel Pros: + Really great location. There are many great restaurants (as well as fast food, if that's your thing), very close to the hotel. We really enjoyed the Gourmet Burger Shop and the Green House restaurant. + Staff was very friendly + The hotel updates its Facebook page regularly and offers promotions. Because we booked direct, we each received a free breakfast at the hotel restaurant (you can order a drink and entree off the hotel restaurant menu). + Warm and inviting entry way, e... Read more

Spent one night here for a quick overnight getaway from Seattle. The rooms are large and well decorated and the staff are courteous and professional. The location is just a short drive to the downtown area. It is a quiet location and there is an interesting distillery right next door.

Room was big and had high ceilings, beds comfy, air and heat worked. Seemed to be reasonably clean. Cold breakfast (included) was ok... Cereal, toast, yogurt, pastries. Handy location for me. Couple other nice features is an Enterprise Car Rental in the lobby, and the Kitsap van to the Seattle airport.

This hotel was clean with inviting decor. Comfortable beds. They have microwaves and refrigerators in the rooms. No parking issues. Staff was helpful and courteous. If you book directly through their site you get a free breakfast in their restaurant. Would stay there again.

I travel every other week staying in hotels. Really, the only things I require is a comfortable bed and a good shower. Unfortunately, the Inn at Gig Harbor wasn't able to fill my needs. I broke my back years ago and need a semi soft bed at least, I usually book a 2 queen bed room to have a choice of beds. This time they both felt like slabs of concrete with foam pillows. The shower pressure was great, but it would turn from nice and hot to scalding without ever touching the handle. Room needed s... Read more

Stayed here one night while in town. The hotel was quiet and staff was very nice. I had to leave very early the next morning and couldn't stay for breakfast, so they provided me a to-go breakfast, which was much appreciated. The location is good for spots to eat and shop, and convenient to other places and the highway. I'd stay here again.

This was our second visit to this hotel while visiting family. Pros: great location, clean room and no noise from the room next door! Cons: do not, repeat, do not get a room facing hwy 16. Road noise can be disturbing. We had a suite - paid $200.00 a night (that was all that was available). I have paid $275.00 a night for a 5 star hotel and it was FAR superior than this one so bottom line - wasn't worth $200.00. Best part is the voucher for the full hot breakfast - anything off the menu -... Read more

I like the size of these rooms but in 2 years it is starting to look dated. The location is great. There is a trolley that runs around town for a dollar all day. Breakfast is in the restaurant and is very filling. The hot tub has been removed and there is no pool.

This hotel was very pleasant, and the breakfast in the morning (which was included since we booked online) was excellent! It was a little noisy due to the road outside, but not too bad. We were able to park close to the hotel main entrance.

I stayed here for a wedding and the only rooms left when I booked were the suites, but they were only about $25 more than the non-suites, so great! Pros - Big suites - Free breakfast when booking direct - Location is good for activities in Gig Harbor Cons - Noise from highway - Rooms are old, old, old - Food is only okay Again, the suite was impressively large for something like $250 a night. I think it was 750 square feet, featured 1.5 baths, and had a six person dining/ conference table an... Read more

I often stay at the Gig Harbor Inn traveling on business. The location is great. The hotel is in need of refurbishment. The linens are poor quality, the heating/cooling units are noisy. Last time I stayed there the shower head fell on me. They provide a 4$ coupon you can use for breakfast. It is not a good breakfast, so in my opinion it is not worth using the coupon. On the positive note: the wifi works well. Nothing is nice, but for one night business stay it is sufficient. I wish ther... Read more

I reserved a 2 queen room with a sofa bed and when I arrived was told that they were booked up and I got a standard room with a king. Waaay overpriced at $165 a night. The free breakfast is a joke and there was a black hair in my mother's fruit. No one tells you anything. I had to go down to the desk to ask where the fitness room was located and then go wander around the floor looking for it (no signs) The one star rating is because the outside is beautiful but don't judge this book by it's c... I'm guessing this place was built when that brick in your hand was called a cell phone and you used MS/DOS to compute with. In short the place has seen better days. Yeah, it's old and needs a facelift. Me and the family stayed at the IAGH last weekend to attend my grandson's wedding in what turned out to be a peculiar 2 nights of lodging. Clean hotel but if you book with another site other than the hotel itself you don't get free breakfast in their restaurant. You get a free continental breakfast in their restaurant which is just cereal, some English muffins and a couple pieces of fruit which is picked over. They do try to get you to order off their menu instead. They also offer a free box breakfast if you forego the free restaurant continental breakfast which is much more appealing than the restaurant continental breakfast. I... Read more

Perfectly fine hôtel especially if you have a car. If you don't rent a car, there is a trolley you can take into the downtown harbor area but it only runs from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m. . There are a lot of shops and restaurants within a half-mile walking distance but it is more like a shopping center, not the cute little artsy shops near the waterfront. The Inn at Gig Harbor is along Hwy 16 and provides clean rooms and an on-site restaurant for breakfast and lunch only. If you book directly with the hotel you receive a full breakfast, other are provided a continental breakfast, The Inn is a stop for the Kitsap Airport Shuttle. Rooms over the front door must deal with noise and activity commuters to the airport at all hours of the night. Hotel has a questionable relationship with booking companies, a change in plans took days to resolve.

In town for my Son's wedding, stayed 2 nights - rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean - enjoyed the interaction with staff even more, they were courteous and helpful, we had dishes that needed a rinse after the rehearsal dinner and they willingly agreed to do it - thank you Really enjoyed our stay Special mention to Megan who helped us it seemed all 48 hours plus that we were there, in the AM, upon our return in the PM, like a 96 hour shift or what? The Inn was one of the best parts of our trip. The room was extremely clean and housekeeping was pleasant and helpful. The full breakfast was delicious! If I had a complaint it would be the lack of a pool or hot tub. We stayed three days and spent considerable time in the room so two easy chairs or a sitting area would have been much appreciated.

We stayed here on a a mini-vacation for our family of four--2 adults, 2 kids. We were in the family suite and loved it. Good place for your Board meetings as the hotel staff will be very accommodating to your every need. With a restaurant on site you can stay in-house; meet, eat, and meet again! Meeting rooms can be customized to your needs. However, you can use it need to use your own power point equipment. Hotel rooms are very nice. This hotel is in a less than optimal location for this town (adjacent to a freeway) but it is still fairly quiet and comfortable. It is definitely beginning to show its age and the staff seems a bit less friendly than I'd expect here. The rooms are OK but showing some wear and tear. They offer a free breakfast but only continental and pretty minimal at that.

Overall, our experience was not bad, but something below what might have been expected from one of the premier properties in the classy Gig Harbor, where the locals drive BMW's and Porsches, and parade around in their Gucci shoes with their Mulberry bags. The town in very nautical, as the name suggests, but that heritage is scantly on display at the Inn. The rooms have below-the-window mounted heating/air conditioning units, not the more modern forced air systems, which are much quieter. Littl... Read more

We stayed here for 4 nights. The location is very ideal and those heading to the airport have it made with the shuttle drop off:pick up right by the front door. My only (2) cons: (1) if you are noise sensitive then ask for the parking lot side. Highway 16 can be a bit loud if you are not used to it. But then you miss out on the MT. Rainier view on the top floor, so that is a toss up. (2) feels slightly dated or wearing. Could use a little attention to detail. But kept very clean so no complain... Read more
