This hotel is ok, not really what I was thinking for the holiday inn brand. This hotel is very dated and kinda run down. The rooms are very run of the mill nothing fancy about them. There is really nothing within walking distance of hotel to do. But the bar in the hotel is nice.

The staff at this hotel were very friendly, helpful and speedy. I appreciated it when I checked in and while getting food in the mornings before heading out to meetings. I had a room on the top floor facing I-5. I can usually sleep like the dead, but I had to bust out the earplugs while staying here even though they did have double sets of windows. I ate at the restaurant downstairs for dinner one evening. They have a lot of heavy bar food on the menu so if you are here for an entire week y... Read more

This is a nice hotel that has good rates, pleasant décor and good food. A very nice combination for sure. Staff is helpful and friendly and I would stay here again on another trip thought the area, Convenient to the freeway

We stay here several times a year when visiting my husband's family. During this last stay I was remote logged into my work while my husband was out helping his family with a project. I called room service and ordered lunch. Over an hour later, I called back asking if there was an update for when it would be available. I was told they would check and call me right back. Several minutes later the phone rang once and I picked it up, but the caller had hung up. 30 minutes later my sandwich arr... Read more

I was in Everett for 7 days for a sports event. The hotel was busy with teams and also a Vietnam Veterans event. The staff were never stressed out and always took time for everyone to have a great experience. Micheal on the front desk and Zachary in the restaurant made me feel welcome and valued as a guest.

We were really pleased with the desk staff, who helped my family and I with a last minute booking and helped us cancel a reservation at another property. Got us in with little effort, a friendly attitude, and a reasonable price. We got a room on the quiet side, as opposed to the side facing the I-5 freeway, which is quite loud on the other side. The property was quite crowded with several events taking place at the same time, and one gets the impression this is common at this property. Overa... Read more

The clerk talked too fast and was not easy to understand, though I think we're both native English speakers. I asked for extra wash clothes. About an hour later a guy showed up with extra hand towels. The room service trays that were outside my door the night before, were moved down the hall the morning after, but still not picked up. The room was clean and mostly quiet, except for the under window A/C unit that kicked on all night and was loud enough to wake you. The shower was great. H... Read more

Ive stayed in a few holiday Inns and this one definitely feels a little tired and saggy. The rooms are clean and have standard amenities, however one of the two queen beds in our room had a damaged mattress (huge sag in the middle) such that it tilted very steeply when slept on. "Market value" (140/night) is definitely overpriced for the quality of experience at this particular holiday inn, and I would not recommend this area for a relaxing or romantic getaway. That said, if youre looking for ... Read more

This is the worst hotel I've stayed at in a long time. The hotel is dirty. I understand they are renovating but they could clean the rooms in the meantime. I don't mind a hotel being outdated but that's no excuse for the dirty rooms. Our first room smelled like mold. It was horrendous so we asked for a new room. One of the managers, Michelle, was at the desk. She gave us a lot of attitude when asking for a new room saying she's "never heard that one before." Maybe she should have taken a whiff b... Read more

I have stayed at this hotel several times over the last few years. It has gotten worse and worse. The rooms, lobby, fitness center, and restaurant are all out dated and needing just general tlc. Yvette, Lupe and Misty are the only ones in the morning during breakfast that know what is going on. The front desk staff is never the same. Last couple of times we have had issues with our rooms and billing, dealt with astrid the front desk supervisor. That was a joke she was rude and plain unhelpful. S... Read more

The hotel is definitely dated in decor. Although people are friendly, service is not good. On my first night I ate at the restaurant, food was cold. I had a latte and requested caramel syrup, they did not put it in. The next morning I ordered breakfast. They forgot the toast, so my eggs got completely cold waiting for the toast. Basically, eat somewhere else. Ok to sleep here but not worth the price.

This hotel seems to be on its last days. It looks like they may be trying to keep it up but overall, there are far better places to stay than this hotel. When we were there the pool was closed as was the fitness room. Not much going for this hotel except it does have plenty of rooms

This hotel is adequate, but not special. It's best feature is the friendly and helpful front desk staff; they were consistently helpful. The rooms are dated and the lighting is low, especially in the bathrooms. Do ask for a room opposite the freeway-I was disturbed by freeway nose all night. I can't recommend the restaurant. I ordered breakfast from the menu and my fried eggs were lukewarm and the bacon limp and greasy.

Simple housekeeping request cannot be handled due to robotic scheduling. Front desk took 3 hours to get someone for simple bed fluff and fresh towels on three day stay. Once the actual room keeper showed, her attitude and service were exemplary. Restaurant is mediocre. Advertised shuttle out of service for days. Contracted cab is mostly useless - call your own. Whole operation needs a good shakeup to get back where service was excellent.

While then hotel room and facilities are a little dated, the location was convenient and the staff friendly. Used the casino shuttle to go see concert in Tulalip and the driver was friendly. I think it was overpriced for what you get.

Stayed here in June 2016. Lobby is pleasant and modern but the rooms are sorely in need of an update. If you want to have any hope of sound sleep, get a room on the west (non-highway) side of the hotel. I kept the AC running all night but it could not drown out the sound of traffic on I-5 (which felt like it was about 100 feet away). There are hotels located closer to the true downtown area, and further from I-5; that's where I'll be staying next time I'm in town.

Okay, yeah, the Downtown Everett is kind of a holdover from the Holiday Inns of my youth, before every hotel and motel in the world became a temple to corporate, sybaritic comfort. But the staff is nice. We asked to move from one room to another, and they were great and accommodating. The wait staff are all very friendly. End of day one and it's a-okay with me. It's plunked down in the middle of kind of an industrial neighborhood -- garage door shops and whatnot -- but that just means the DHIE... Read more

Stayed here for one night while attending a concert at the nearby casino. Room was not ready when we arrived. Had to wait over 45 minutes for a room to be cleaned. The location was convenient and comfortable, but a bit dated. There is little to no sound proofing, luckily we got in late after the concert so most were asleep. Shuttle driver was nice and offered helpful information.

I read other reviews and I didn't experience anything that others complained about. The could have ended vacuumed a little better. Everything else in the room was fine. Top floor what I like. Breakfast Buffett was good fresh OJ and decent coffee. Denny's across the street. Resturant (bar and grill) about 2 block away which is good. Seems like a lot of business types stay here. I'll be back.

Right next to I-5 and super easy access. Has a restaurant and bar on the 1st floor that was very handy. Ate 3 different dinners and all of them were very tasty and filling. There is a great gym downtown that you can workout at with a chit from the hotel. Christine helped book my group and was a pleasure to work with. She was very through and professional. The only thing that my team and I had any issue with was there wasn't a free breakfast. You could pay $10 more per night for a $5 credit towa... Read more

I was a bit concerned when I landed this hotel from a third-party site for a good deal, given past negative reviews. But the lobby seems immaculate, the welcome was friendly, and my room was quite spacious and well appointed, despite those who have written of dated decor. Just be certain to ask for a quiet room. Only drawback is that's it's not a great base to explore Seattle given the morning inward flow of traffic. All in all, though, I was pleased: I wouldn't shy away from this place.

We were booked into this hotel which is situated next to the I5. The lobby very nice but our rooms were somewhat tired and in need of a makeover. There was a stain on the wall we pointed out to the receptionist; one day the towels were not replaced, nor were the toiletries or tissues. The breakfast was not as extensive as in a HIE - no bread etc, The fruit on offer was variable. Staff were pleasant but it is not value for money. Disappointing.

My niece was married in September 2016. All the hotel guest stayed at this holiday inn. The hotel was nice but the hotel didn't inform the guest that they could get breakfast at half price if they asked for a coupon at the desk. The rooms were small and the beds were much too soft. I wonder if this was another chain purchased by holiday inn and they haven't remodeled yet. Usually holiday inns are more comfortable.

I booked 2 rooms at this hotel. After being here for a wedding a year ago, I figured it was a great hotel, but boy was I wrong. Upon entering the hotel, we had to wait for the hotel clerk and she was not the friendliest front desk clerk. I have stayed in many hotel rooms for different companies and each time the rooms and staff and okay. Last night, the desk clerk was not friendly, didn??t think us for staying at this hotel, or anything. We checked in and were handed the keys. Upon entering bot... Read more

As we are IHG members, we stay at Holiday Inn A LOT both for business and pleasure and have never had a negative experience until staying at the Downtown Everett location. They were full and could not upgrade us as they normally do. which was fine, we were only staying one night. Our room was very dark in general and it was frustrating that the lamps had burned out bulbs. The desk chair in the room was stained and the previous guest had left stuff in the fridge which we were obliged to remov... Read more

Stayed here from October 20-21 this year en route to Vancouver, BC. Got the hotel for $124 with breakfast included. Decor and rooms seemed dated, and one of the elevators did not work at all. Complimentary breakfast was not bad, waffles, bacon, cereals, fruit, sausage, and potatoes were available. Lobby was upscale for a Holiday Inn.

Clean, quiet, pretty new. Buffet breakfast for free every's food, but it's exactly the same thing every day. Nice little pool/sauna and a few machines for the obligatory minimum to say you have an exercise facility. Free parking! Staff was always friendly and helpful. It's not near much, and the neighborhood doesn't exactly look friendly to stroll around in.

I took Amtrak to and from Everett to attend a seminar. Since I would not have a car, I looked from some place that had shuttle service that would not only get me from and to the train station, but to and from my meeting location down town. "Downtown Everett" meant something different to me; basically it's in an industrial area. I asked the hotel to pick me up, which they did promptly. I made arrangements for a shuttle ride the next morning, then went to get something to eat (OK food, but nothi... Read more

I was really disappointed with this Holiday Inn to be honest, in my opinion the rooms really need a refresh and a good clean. I really don't like dirty hotels so I do lots of research and am willing to pay a decent rate and this was not what I expected. The lobby and staff were very nice but once we got to our room it was rather old and faded I thought. Then I went into the bathroom and in the tub up on the wall was a big blob of hair (ewwwww) that I figured the maid must have stuck up there t... Read more
