There was a chance of a fight in the lobby when we checked in, and in looking at the room we had such a bad taste in our mouth and on our lips that it did not leave until the next day. There was furniture out back in the parking area, and a truck loading or unloading something unrelated to a hotel. The desk clerk was very odd and would not answer the desk phone after we left to help in having us not cancel the stay.

The front desk lady had her friends in the front lobby and when we came in she was rude like we where bothering her. She is in a wheel chair so it was ok that she took a minute but we walked there and it was rainy, when waiting forever for her to see if there were rooms we decided to go somewhere else and told her nevermind and we called a cab we didnt want to stand in the rain so we stayed under the cover and she came out yelling saying we cant wait there out of the rain where the cab was going... Sleep on the road of Pikes Place market? Or this hotel?... I would go with Pikes! Lick the gum wall from end to end? Or this hotel?... ABC gum sign me up! This place is absolutely disgusting. The pictures online are very misleading and the negative reviews do not even scratch the surface. Staff was ok but the facility was terrible! The elevator was full of trash and filthy, it looked like it hadn't been vacuumed‚??well ever‚?? and the floor we stayed on had torn mattresses, 55 year old smoke sm... Read more

The room didn't feel clean, tiny TV and bathroom was so dimly lit there'd be no way to put on make-up. I'm not sure how dark it would be when using the shower since I didn't stay and I asked for a refund. Motel did have an internet discount which wouldn't be given at desk, I had to go to my car and make the reservation on my phone.

I've been coming to this hotel every summer for the last 7 years and I've never had any serious issues. Ironic how other people's comments reflect only a snobby perception. Most the people that hang around the lobby at night are good working people such as nurses or carpenters here on business. The rooms are clean and the linens are always fresh. This is the best place to stay on a budget in Edmonds.

First off, it would have been good to know that this place was "under construction" prior to booking this hotel room. I don't mind a place being under construction, however, I do mind laundry (not sure if it was clean or dirty) piled up in the hallways on in a cart right in front of the reception counter. We had to wait awhile before someone actually came out to check us in. When checking out, the staff was leaning against the back counter eating. She didn't bother acknowledging us right away an... We came in to the lobby and it smelled liked cigarette smoke. The back door was left open and there were few guys standing and sitting there smoking. We were all too tired to change hotels. The elevator smelled weird and inside looks dirty . The hallway looked dirty and it smelled like cigarettes smoke. When you first walk in it smelled weird and looked dirty. The pillow cover had stains on it and long dark hair on the sheets. There was no bedcover just a sheet over the thin layer blanket. There... Read more

Location good. Tired. Stairwell and front doors propped open. Cigarette smells. No coffee makers in room only in lobby. Towels clean but very thin. Bed clean, pillows left a bit to be desired, lumpy. Quiet. Long dark hair in bathtub. New toilet.

Older. Motel 6 level of amenities, but Fridge & microwave included in price. Not fancy but inexpensive place to stay. Only problem I had was free internet performance was not consistent enough to stream sony Vue on an Amazon Fire 8 HD version 5 reliably. Ended up using >1 gigabyte of my cellular plan to stream a couple news programs from earlier in day I needed to watch. My wife did not stay with me, but visited. States smell of cigarettes in hall. I would only consider in future if price ... Read more
