Although this review was from guests that stayed there. Loved the service, and accommodations but they said the train on the back side was very noisey. If you stay on the front side you can avoid that.

Nice hotel. Very ecofriendly. No ac in hallways little in the group areas. Room ac max cool 65 so it takes a while to cool the room down after the ac is turned on. Light in the rooms are dim energy savers. If you want to read bring your own lamp or cell phone with a light. TV was good lots of channels. Shower only rooms. Water savers on all outlets. Shower floor pan creaked so loud you could here it in the other room with the door closed.. Breakfast was good. Hot food so so/so. milk/cereal to... Read more

Very nice and comfortable room and bed. Great breakfast room area and breakfast. Very easy to get to from the freeway. The hotel seems very new and very clean. The thermostat worked perfectly and the room was spacious.

When moving from Washington to California we needed a room for the night. We discovered 'pet friendly' does not mean 'cat friendly' ??. One major hotel chains central booking, after being made aware we had a cat, said that their hotel did accept cats and reserved a room for us. When we entered their lobby with our cat in her carrier it was evident by the expression on the desk clerks face that the booking person was incorrect. Kudos out to the staff, however, as the error wasn't theirs. They ... Read more

We looked online for a hotel to spend the night on our way to the ferry back to Victoria. I am a fan of Holiday Inn Expresses and was surprised to see how pricey a room was with both priceline and hotels.com so I made a phone call to the hotel to see what their best rate was. It was the same as online. I found another Holiday Inn Express in the area that was considerably cheaper but this hotel was more convenient so I called back to see if they would price match. They said that each hotel was pr... Read more

The hotel looks new. It is clean and comfortable. The location is easy to find as it is right off a highway. The big negative was the multiple trains that seemed to be right next to the hotel. They went until almost midnight and started up again well before the sun was up. I was woken up multiple times by the train whistle. My question to the hotel is: Why didnt you put more soundproofing in the hotel if you just built it and there is a train track right there. Perhaps you should consi... Read more

Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean and roomy. Easy on and off i5. Breakfast had a wide selection and nice seating area. Would definitely stay again. Get a room that is not facing RR tracks so you don't hear the train noise.

We stopped at this hotel for an overnight stay before going to Mt St Helens. It is a typical HIE- same decor, has some wear, but has a lot of nice amenities and is good for the area. The location is great, right off of the interstate and about 25 miles til the exit for Mt St Helens. The breakfast was wonderful, and the breakfast staff was so nice. They had lots of options including cinnamon rolls, cereals, pancakes, and hot oatmeal. The rooms were good sized, but did show some wear. The beds ... Read more

This place is great. Happy, very helpful staff, the whole place is incredibly clean, and the rooms are welcoming and comfortable. No problems whatsoever with either my room personally or the conference room. Would (and will) highly recommend! (Picture was taken late at night, sorry!)

Pulled in after a long day driving looking for a room for rest/shower. Holiday Inn Express is typically a reliable option. This property seems to be relatively new and clean even though it is situated in depressing and unappealing Chehalis. Because we booked in person the price was ridiculous ($200 after tax) for a blah double queen room. It would have maybe been worth it if the immediate area hadn't been so dumpy and industrial and we could have eaten dinner somewhere nice. That's not the hotel... Read more

Wow! Awesome service and hospitality for tired bikers rolling in after a 100 mile ride. The services and special treatment were the best I've ever seen at any hotel hands down. Room was great and beds were comfy. The extra services were much appreciated :). If we are ever in the area we would definitely stay again.

This is our second stay at the property and we'll use it plenty over the next while. When I phoned to see if they had rooms she found us in the system and our room was exactly what we wanted based on our previous stay. Clean, welcoming, quiet despite not being far from the interstate what sets this property apart is the people who work here. What a team! Kudos to Cecelia who was on the night desk.

After a very frustrating and long day flying west from the east coast, we arrived much later than we had planned and were exhausted. We were welcomed with a smile and went straight to our rooms for an excellent night's sleep. The beds were comfortable, temp was good and the rooms were clean. Breakfast was what we expected and well presented. The cinnamon rolls set their breakfast apart from other comparable hotels. We would not hesitate to return.

The staff and support they gave to us simply amazing!! My family were doing the bike ride Seattle to Portland or STP. They had nutrition for our arrival and also a carry on nutrition for the next day! The place was clean. The staff was supportive and was eager to supply anything we might have forgotten. I would have given a 5 star but the close proximity to train tracks and its loud horn can be heard. An earplug is helpful. Even with that I would still stay there cause of the tremendous support... As with every Holiday Inn Express the rooms are clean, the properties inviting and the staff are nice. This is a newer than most I stay in and was very well appointed. Tons of pillows. Lots of amenities as well perfect for a family on the move. Best part half way between Portland Oregon and Seattle WA which is great when you want to stop and explore along the way

If streaming-quality is not important to you, you will find this Hlday Inn Express entirely acceptable. Nice employees, very fine hot breakfast, clean rooms, wonderful room air conditioning, ease of access to freeway, and so forth. One inexplicable and unpleasant surprise on an uncommonly hot weekend, however, is a lack of air conditioning in the otherwise welcoming lobby and breakfast area. This meant discomfort not only for the traveler but also undoubtedly for employees. Whatever the reason ... Read more

Needed a place to sleep on a road trip after a late start. Called from Seattle area. Booked in because phone was answered promptly, desk staff was courteous and quick to give me information. Rate was a bit high imo for the area but it is summer season. The hotel is right off the highway but noise wasn't a real issue. No place to eat nearby but lots of fast food options a 5 minute drive down the highway. The standard hotel breakfast was larger than usual.. besides the usual cereal, yogurt, toast... Read more

This is a good choice if you are looking for clean, comfortable lodging. The beds were very comfortable and if you have two queens in your room there are a total of 8 pillows. They have a pillow system of firm or softer and my wife loves that as she used 6 of them. She'd use all 8 if I let her. The morning breakfast is good and will get you going with enough varieties for most appetites. The pool is a little shallow and small, but works if you want to get your body moving after a long day o... Read more

Our stay was what we have come to expect from a Holiday Inn Express. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good. It was the hotel staff that really set this hotel apart from the others we've stayed at. Both the evening and morning desk staff went above and beyond to be helpful and accomodating. I would definitely recommend staying here

This is everything you expect from a Holiday Inn Express, right off the freeway (I 5), easy on and off. Overall the hotel is quiet, train runs through at night, about every hour or so. Breakfast was good, with a lot of care to trying to keep everything fresh.

This is the go to hotel stay when Grandma visits. The hotel is clean, newer, and one of the nicer in the area. This is exactly what I expect from this chain hotel. The breakfast is included with your stay. Hot fare includes eggs, sausage, turkey sausage, biscuits/gravy cinnamon rolls, and bacon. Other items include cereal, toast, fruit muffins etc. We loved that they had pumpkin spice creamer available! The ladies in the food area were very nice and helpful. My wife and I stayed here waiting for our son to arrive on the bus from ND. We had our grandson also the pool and hot tub was amazing couldn't get the grandson out. We had the 2 queen size beds. Very comfortable room was exceptionally clean. The breakfast was really amazing. Cheese omelettes, pancakes, sausage, and many other choices. You can stay cheaper but in my opinion this is definitely worth the money. I would definitely recommend this place to stay.
