This extended stay property is good for a night or a month. Clean. Quiet (ask to be on the back side bordering trees). Fast internet, kitchens, seating area, large fresh, comfy bed. At the intersection of I-5 and the Skagit River. Near a great Japanese restaurant Sakura, Jimmy John's, Olive Garden, Best Buy, Costco and Starbucks. Fifteen minutes to the casino, thirty minutes from the tulip fields. Thicker behind the Hampton Inn.

For business anyway. The staff (Kelli at front desk) is super nice; the hotel is spotless; the room is spacious and has just about anything you might need - kitchen, bath, bed, Internet. I even like the closet because it has hangers that you don't have to slide around in a groove (you know what I mean). This particular location is close to many stores - in case you forgot something, and plenty of restaurants. Couldn't be more pleased.

Newer hotel, and very clean, Ashley the front desk agent was very helpful. I've stayed in many hotels and she has been the first desk agent in a very long time to even offer to help with my luggage, and small things like that really do impress me! I would stay there again in a heartbeat!

We were in town for a trail half marathon I was running so stayed nearby in Burlington for two nights. Very clean hotel (both outside property, inside and rooms). SUPER friendly front desk staff! Great night's sleep, AND we received an upgrade. Rooms were spacious, comfortable, with updated décor throughout hotel. Very much enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend. Nearby lots of great coffee shops and other amenities if needed.

We don't usually stay in this chain, but with all the good reviews we decided to try it. We were not disappointed. The staff was good, and check in and out was easy. I love it when a place doesn't try to nickle and dime you to death, and they Did Not. They have grills outside, and have the tools for you to use, along with free washers and dryers. They also let you use boardgames an DVDs for free. The rooms were clean, even the carpet, and the kitchenette was extremely useful. They were know... Read more

What a find, OK, not full hotel facilities - no restaurent, but beautiful large bedroom, and what blew us away, the bathroom was sparkling and as if never been used, never stayed in a hotel so clean and I have stayed in many of the big named hotels throughout the world. In the downtown are and 1 block off the freeway exit.

This hotel was exactly what I expect from a Candelwood Suites. We had a compact room with everything we needed, including the kitchenette area stocked with plates and cutlery. The space is really quite small. I??d have loved a king size bed but I think all they have are queens. There was barely enough space in the room for a queen bed ad they had a recliner jammed into the space between the night stand and the wall - very tight quarters!! I had one complaint - light poured into room as t... Read more

The Candlewood Suites is one of you better options in Burlington. Being the extended stay hotel of the IHG brand the rooms are mini suites. Their rates are excellent for the area, the rooms are clean, and the staff is friendly. As a bonus you are close to the mall and outlet stores.

We live in the San Juans and must ferry to the mainland. My wife, pet dog and I visit my Mother every two weeks an hour away from here. After the commute, we spend an extra day shopping, trying restaurants and pet grooming in Burlington. It is a "hub" of Skagit Valley and convienent to everything. We always stay at Candlewood for the excellant reservation (Jamie), check in service (thank you Kelli) and especially the always cheerful and professional manager, Therese. We recommens the property to... Read more

I think this was my first experience of staying at a Candlewood Suites, and it was fine, but I only stayed the one night. Finding the place was interesting, because it appeared to be tucked behind the Hampton Inn, and we actually drove through their entrance to access. The first thing I did was to turn off the aircon, but it did get a bit warm overnight. I am not a fan of showers over the bathtub, as it makes access awkward.

My wife and stayed at our first Candlewood Suites on our trip to Washington State. The room was large, clean and included a full size refrigerator, dish washer and microwave. It also include a small stovetop and plenty of glasses/dishes/silverware. You will not get daily maid service or free continental breakfast. There is a small store in the lobby where you can purchase breakfast type foods/drinks for a very reasonable cost. Plenty of places to eat or shop within a mile of the hotel. Serv... Read more

We purchased a car in Portland, Oregon and were traveling home to Alaska. It was getting late so we did an internet search of the Mt Vernon/Burlington area for a place to stay for the night. We found the Candlewood, booked a room, and what a pleasant surprise! It was far beyond our expectations. We actually found ourselves reluctant to leave, it was that nice. Staff was fantastic. Great location for restaurants, shopping, anything a person would need is in close proximity. We will definitely pla... Read more

Only two cons: refrigerator too loud and no side table one one side Good location near several large shopping venues. Nice clean linens. Good size tv. Kitchen with enough things for a simple meal. Little stove and microwave. Would stay again

When I arrived to Candlewood the front desk team was so nice and welcoming. I had emailed prior to my arrival asking for a first floor room and they were happy to set me up in one. The room was clean with a well stocked mini kitchen. Although I did not use the stove top it was a blessing to have a full size fridge and tupperware so I could make salads and sandwiches and pack them from lunches at work. The mini store had items such as cereal that I could grab when the box I purchased at the ma... Read more

Once again, our stay at the Candlewood Suites in Burlington, WA was exceptional. Everything about our room was great: comfortable bed and pillows; well lit bathroom with perfect water pressure and temperature; kitchen amenities made preparing small meals a cinch; overall room temperature easily maintained (it never got too cold or too hot); room was quiet, even with several other guests on the same floor. All common areas of the hotel (lobby, hallway, laundry room and fitness rooms) were alwa... Read more

I've stayed at a lot of Candlewood Suites before and this one is right up there with all of them. This one has all the amenities like great towels, shampoo, popcorn and all of the kitchen utensils pots and pans you'll need are available. What I liked about this particular property was that although it was on a busy street it was tucked back behind two other buildings and was very quiet at night. I wish that Candlewood wood offer free toothpaste toothbrushes Etc like other IHG properties butt t... Read more

I Stay in hotels all across the country and this one is really nice. Good restaurants within walking distance and really nice surrounding area. Just a short drive there are shopping centers and convenience stores. The person at the front desk was warm and helpful with suggesting good places to eat in the area. I will stay here again when I travel thru.

I absolutely loved this place! We paid the price of a lower end Comfort Inn Property, maybe even cheaper, and the quality of EVERYTHING was at least as good as $200/nite places. While it has no breakfast on offer, who really misses that crappy food that does nothing but supplant the hungry gnaw in your post slumber belly with a too full alkaseltzer craving because you slammed your system with grease and sugar and fake eggs? They have a unique lending area where you can borrow the utensils to ... Read more
