We had another good stay at a Hampton Inn. Our room was clean, and well maintained. Check in was smooth and quick. I did have a problem getting on the wifi but the front desk person advised me to turn my iPad off/on. That did the trick. The nozzle on the tub would not stay on when using the shower, until I found out I had to turn it 90 degrees. The room was quiet as I had asked.

We know from experience that we can usually trust Hampton Inn to provide a stress free stay, and this was what we got here. Breakfast buffet was nice, rooms were fine. A great stopping place for us as we drive to Florida; we will definitely stay here again.

This Hampton Inn is on a very busy highway in Virginia and appears to cater to that transient audience. The room was large and accommodated two parents and two children very nicely. The bathroom was in need of updating but overall the room served its purpose as a layover.

Hampton Inn was a perfect place to stay, especially when traveling. The hotel, rooms and public areas were clean and inviting. The beds are very comfortable. They provide a nice breakfast and the staff was very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. The hotel is also close to two interstates which makes it easy off and on access.

We stopped late at night on our way South for vacation. We were greeted and given our room quickly. The hotel is conveniently located off 77. Very clean, quiet and safe location. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The breakfast included eggs, sausage, gravy, waffles, a variety of fruits, cereals, breads, coffee and juices. A huge selection and very comfortable seating inside as well as outside by the pool. Can't go wrong here. Will definitely stay again. Wifi is very slow.

Excellent hotel. While the stay was great it took 45 mins to an hour to find the hotel after exiting the highway. You need more signage. We almost stayed at a Comfort Inn which was easy to find, well marked. I rate the hotel excellent once we found it. I even had trouble finding someone who could give me directions. I'm some people gave up looking, we nearly did.

The hotel was beautifully situated off interstates 77/81, making it accessible to travel to many different destinations. The rooms were very clean and beds quite comfortable. The continental breakfast in the morning was excellent. The employees working it couldn't have been nicer and they took the time to talk with their guests. Overall, very clean hotel and excellent service. Only con, location to other attractions, restaurants and bars are not easily available. Happy travels y'all!

This is an excellent hotel, in a quiet location with good services and amenities. It would be a nice place to stay for a period of time, simply to relax and "re-charge one's batteries", so to speak. It has a pool, sauna and hot tub, and the breakfasts are great, with good variety.

Our room on the 3rd floor was ok but definitely could have been better as far as cleanliness, especially in the bathroom. There was black mold growing along the edges of the bathtub and soap holder, and there was a layer of dust on top of the coffee maker. Also, warning to all parents that the pool is like an icebox. They do have a sauna/hot tub, but the indoor pool is not kept at a decent temp. My 5 year old son wouldn't stay in it because he was so cold...

We stayed here as a quick place to stay to sleep before finishing our trip home (Georgia) from DC. We are loyal to the Hampton brand because we know it will be clean, secure and affordable. This hotel met those expectations but I could tell our room had been neglected in a couple areas. 1) a shelf in the bathroom was very dusty which meant it hadn't been cleaned in some time 2) the baseboard around the bathroom could use a good scrubbing. I'm not as enamored with driving 10-11 hours as I was when i was younger. I am a Hilton Honors member, and I always stay at a Hampton Inn if possible. I find my that the service, rooms and amenities are very consistent. The staff are always friendly and willing to do whatever is necessary to make my stay the best it can be. This hotel is in a great spot if you need to take a break during a road trip. It meets the standard of a Hampton Inn but that's about it. Rooms are dated and the staff seemed to be bothered by any questions or requests. The hotel is clean but should probably be on the list for upgrade. Overall, fine, but it wouldn't be my first choice for a hotel in this area.

We were traveling through VA one night and got so tired that we couldn't drive one more second. After a number of frantic attempts to find a Hampton at exit after exit, God smiled down on us and let us find a room at the HI Wytheville. This is not nearly as nice as Hampton Inns we usually stay at. The lobby and other common areas are nice enough, but our room had that old feel to it. There was a thermostat on the wall, but there was a label on it saying to use the controls on the unit itself. That hardly worked. We had it running all night at 64° and the room was just barely cooled. The mini-fridge also wasn't cold at all. We always prefer a Hampton Inn when traveling. This Hampton offered a convenient stopping point on our way to vacation as it's right off the Interstate. Room was clean but felt the hotel was overpriced compared to typical Hampton rates. Will only stay at this hotel again if the rate is lower. There are many hotels right in this area and are probably sufficient for less $$.

After trying out the Bolling Wilson Hotel and getting flea bites during my sleep (I don't even have a pet), I returned to the Hilton hotels and was not in the least disappointed in this Hampton. Clean room and bed. Hotel staff was professional and courteous. Hallways were clean. My only small complaint is that all of the bagels were white bread, and I prefer wheat, grain, or raisin. But the breakfast is superfluous to a clean room and bed and a good night's sleep, which this Hampton delivers.

In my experience Hamptons are a little above average and usually a safe but this hotel is the exception. The rate was much too high for a small town in Virginia and on top of that the room was very small. It is about 30% smaller than an average room.

We typically stay at Hampton Inn when we travel. I would say overall the hotel is just fine for an overnight stay if you are traveling and need a place to stop, but it's not an option that I'd choose for a multi-night stay. The hotel was completely full when we stayed and likely is like that a lot during the summer travel season due to its location. I asked the woman cleaning the room next door to come in to look at it. She said she had just cleaned the room but must have missed that. Gross.
