I loved my stay here. The room was so clean and comfortable. I especially like that the area for getting ready in the morning is separate from the bathroom. We stayed in a king suite and it was more than enough room. The breakfast was very good and the lady who took care of it was super nice -even asking if we wanted anything before she closed up for the morning. As a matter of fact, all of the staff were extremely nice and helpful. We stayed on the fourth floor, so I don't know about the quietn... Read more

I stayed at the Hampton Inn and Suites in Woodstock while attending a wedding in Edinburg. The room, lobby, etc. were clean and welcoming. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. I was able to check-in between the ceremony and reception because it only took 2 minutes, which allowed me time to freshen up before the reception (which was necessary with all the rain!). The room had wifi and decent cable selections. The beds were quite comfortable. There was a complimentary breakfast in the mo... Read more

I arrived with a confirmed reservation and Gold status with Hilton for 1 night business stay in May 2016 only to discover that a queen room on the noisy side of the hotel was available according, to the front desk. He would not consider a free upgrade to a king Studio on the quiet side which was still available at 8:30 PM local time and wanted me to pay an additional $20 or so. This is a poor way to do business considering that it was highly unlikely for the hotel to be able to sell this room af... Read more

Hampton Inns have stepped up their game all over but this location goes even a notch above! From the excellent staff providing animated dinner recommendations w/ coupons to the kind maid service & excellent breakfast to the beautiful little rock & water fountain near the entrance. My mom had a room on the highway side - the noise didn't bother them but the hotel includes earplugs should one be sensitive to it! Great Stay Thank you!

Nice clean hotel with friendly staff. Great breakfast setup (one of the best areas) and staff. Many great eating places within 2 miles of hotel. Highly recommended. This hotel is very close to I-81 and has fueling and food all within this close proximity. If your room is on the Interstate side as mine was, you will experience some road noise but that is expected due to close to the interstate.

All hotels were booked solid for the Bike Virginia cycling tour. An HHonors member - and typically enjoy Hampton Inns. I want to score this hotel higher, but I just can't. Don't get me wrong, it was very clean, and the ladies cooking breakfast were awesome, but that just cannot make up for the short, almost careless, attitude that (un)welcomed us at check-in. Stayed here in May for two nights in order to run around the valley and sightsee. This suite (Rm 129, I think) was one of the best designed rooms in which we have ever stayed. It is a studio suite with a long desk/dresser/table extending across the middle of the room separating the sleeping area from the sitting area. We stay in Hampton Inns all the time when on the road. They are individually owned and run, but they tend to have very good quality and service for the money across the board. This one in Woodstock is especially nice. It is a newer property, the staff is gracious and helpful, the rooms are very nice, and they have an indoor pool (not the case in all Hamptons). My kids and I were exhausted from traveling and looking to get a great nights sleep. This hotel did not disappoint. Beds were clean and comfortable. AC worked well for noise and in keeping the room cool. Others commented that you can hear highway noise which is true, but it didn't bother me since I was so tired. (Light sleepers may want to ask for a room on the front side of the hotel.) I didn't realize that this hotel allowed pets until I saw some reviews just now. This is probably a goo... Read more

You will enjoy excellent accommodations in this hotel. The staff is friendly and helpful. The lobby is beautifully decorated and cookies are available on arrival. The rooms are comfortable and modern. Free wifi is available and performs well. There are many selections for breakfast so everyone should be able to find something satisfying. The location is right off of the interstate; therefore, I suggest requesting a room on the mountainside of the hotel.

Very clean room, with comfortable beds. The hotel was quiet with a very friendly and helpful staff. Location was convenient to the highway. We stayed overnight during a road trip and were able to sleep well and be prepared for the next day of travel. The hotel also has good facilities for business travel and includes a very good breakfast selection.

We are frequent visitors to this Hampton Inn and have also been very pleased. From Susan at breakfast to the front desk, clean room and prompt check-in it is hard to beat. This is our 5th review of this place and it never fails us.

This is the first time I stayed at this Hampton inn, Woodstock. The hotel is typical Hampton Inn -- the room are very nice, modern, clean, etc. However, this hotel sits very close to Interstate 81 North. I received a room that was facing the interstate. I did not realize how loud the traffic noise was until I went to bed. Unbelievable noise!!!! The noise made sleeping impossible. If you stay here opt for a room away from the highway -- a must! There were earplugs in the room! I am shock... Read more

Usually stay in Hilton Garden Inn in Winchester but I just couldn't handle the I81 traffic and longer so I stopped in Woodstock. I had been wanting to try this hotel for awhile. I loved the area. Woodstock is smaller and quieter than Winchester, but still had offered all the necessary convenience, Walmart, restaurants, gas stations and CVS. The hotel was décor was fresh and nicely done. Rooms were small but cozy for a night or two. I was lucky to get a room on the backside away from the I81.... Read more

This was our second stay at this hotel. (Our first stay occurred two years ago.) The hotel met our expectations in every regard. Our room was extremely clean, the internet access worked great and the breakfast room offered many healthy choices. We stayed in a room that was not facing the highway and it was reasonably quiet. We will definitely stay there next time we pass by Woodstock!

Hotel was very nice. Staff was friendly and efficient. Room was exactly as described and pictured. They offer free hot breakfast but my husband and I didn't eat there. Beds are firm, at least they were in our room. Prices are reasonable.

This hotel is right off the highway, easy to find, and perfect for travelers passing through. The rooms are clean and large with all the necessary amenities. The included breakfast was very good! Lots of options and great coffee. Although the highway is very close, it is not loud or disruptive. We had a room on the highway side and weren't bothered. Overall, a comfortable and pleasant stay.

This is a really good Hampton Inn (I stay frequently). From the moment we checked in the front desk staff was exceptional! Room cleanliness was perfect in every respect. Many restaurants in the area and went with staff recomendations which were wonderful. If you are traveling I-81 this is a perfect hotel, easy on off.

As we were not Hilton Honors guests, we were given a room on Interstate side. Needless to say, it wasn't conducive to sleeping with the traffic right outside the wall/window. If you are Hilton Honors then they may have allowed you a different room, but we weren't. Breakfast was good and room was clean, but not able to sleep with noisy traffic.

A+ across the board. The room was huge and beautifully furnished (not your average hotel room, cookie-cutter, cheap-o stuff) and there was also nice artwork. The lobby was warm and inviting, as was the staff.

This hotel is very nice and clean. That's why I had no reason to think I would walk into my room and be met with such an awful mildew/moldy smell--very bad (yes I should've asked for another room, but the drive from Tennessee had me very tired). It was comparable to sleeping in an 1920's attic or cellar. This would have been a perfect stay if not for the smell--even with the highway noise. Very roomy, clean and good decor. Bed wasn't the most comfortable I've slept it, but it was okay for one ni... Read more

Generally, this was an average Hampton Inn, which is pretty good - Clean, attractive, secure, and a pleasant staff. The first criticism is something they can't really help. Our room was no more than 100 yards from a busy Interstate, so it wasn't especially quiet. The heat/AC unit was one of the loudest I've ever slept next to. At least it seemed to moderate the highway noise, and we barely noticed any sounds from adjoining pet-friendly rooms. The room carpet had a couple of gouges in it. Mayb... Read more

We spent the day hiking in George Washington National Forest. What began as a warm day quickly turned into a cold, windy and rainy hike. We completed our planned hike and were impressed with the views. But we were chilled to the bone. From Wolf Gap Recreation Area to the Hampton Inn and Suites Woodstock was about a 15 minute drive. We were checked in quickly and given information regarding local restaurants for dinner. Our room was huge! We had a king size bed. Everything was clean. I took a... Read more

This is easily the nicest Hampton we have stayed in. Great front desk staff even with one person in training. The facility is very well maintained, great fitness center and pool area. The breakfast was nice and the cookies in the afternoon were a welcome treat, as well as tea, coffee and hot chocalate. The suites were large and comfortable. The experience rivaled many Hilton Hotels we have stayed with. Great experience and the best use of my Hilton Honors points to date.

Great experience! Traveling through Woodstock back home to NY after visiting family in GA. First time staying at hampton inn and we were pleasantly surprised. Great pet friendly hotel with only a $25 pet fee. Other hotels in same price category charged $50-$150, which is ridiculous. My dog makes less mess than most children. Beware walking your dog on grass due to inconsiderate dog owners that don't pick up after their pups. Hotel was very clean (we are practically germ-a-phobes). They gave us a... Read more
