Clean room in good location. Front desk very friendly and accommodating. I believe it is a newer hotel but could have been remodeled. No problems noted. Breakfast was ok. In my opinion was a great budget hotel and you collect Wyndham points.

This hotel gave us everything we needed for an overnight. It was just off the highway with all the restaurants and shopping you need. Adequate breakfast to get you going. Great for the price but not the Hilton ū???.

We were traveling and needed a place to rest. It was convenient and we were exhausted.they accepted pets and had availability. It really isn't one of my favorite places to stay but it did suffice. Yes they did have breakfast which was simply removed from packages and served. Example: frozen waffles. Like I said we were really just in need of a rest stop.

Hotel is outdated. Looks like they are doing some remodeling. Room was decent. Convenient to stop as it was half way between SC and RI.

The Super 8 in Winchester VA. had large clean non smoking room with 2 double beds which we booked on line the day before. The room was very clean and had an air conditioner and a refrigerator. They also had a breakfast room (we didn't stop in). The price was about $30.less than other hotels in the area. We will definitely be staying there if we need a room in that location.

The Super 8 Motel in Winchester may not be the most advanced in convenience, due to its entry method, but it makes up for it in a friendly helpful counter person, and in room cleanliness. I would give it a very good rating, a place to spend the night in a convenient air conditioned room.

Stay was fine. We came in late and left first thing the next morning. Room was clean, staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was OK - very basic, no protein. Smell of smoke in hotel (room was not smoky), but that is more common in places where smoking is allowed in buildings. I would stay there again for a comfortable, but no frills hotel.

Just off the highway, quiet, clean room, nice little breakfast room with limited but adequate offerings, pleasant manager, comfortable beds, businesses and restaurants nearby, plenty of parking, AAA rated (sign up in the lobby), well-maintained ice machine, many tv stations on a flat-screen tv, decent size mini-fridge, microwave - suited our needs very well!!

Clean, friendly and helpful owner, Bob. Good TV reception, very comfortable beds, decent internet, no bugs, ac/heat worked quietly. Because it was a Thursday, it was super quiet. The continental breakfast was exactly what it is. Coffee(very good) orange juice, dry cereals, oatmeal, donuts, toast. Again, simple, but good, the breakfast place was clean and had a good tv. As I said, you get what you pay for, but in this case, it was all good.

With a bare bones breakfast, mostly clean rooms and easy to get location off I-81, this is a good, lower price property to stay in the SUMMER, since literally all similar properties in the area during Summer will charge a higher price. Find an internet coupon to pay the lowest price. Check the room, make sure your phone is plugged in before making payment Dislikes: un-swept cigarettes at entrance door, some "crude" appearance patrons loitering outside by that door much longer than they should

Our stay at the Super8 in Winchester, Va was very enjoyable. Our dog, was welcomed and he was comfortable staying there with us. The breakfast was just okay, although my dog did enjoy 2 waffles.

Conveniently located near restaurants, grocery store, and gas station. Room was very nice, bed was comfy and bathrooms were spotless. Breakfast was ok, wish they had more yogurt options. Instead we got coffee, waffles with syrup and I got instant oatmeal with OJ.

I stayed at this hotel while on business. The night that I stayed, I was sent a one page document that I needed printed out for the next morning to take to one of my clients. I asked the front desk employee if it was possible to print out the one page document and he said that he was not allowed. I asked if he could call a manager. He said he tried to call but no one answered. I told him that if they expect business people to stay over that this hotel should have a way for guests to use a comput... Read more

I've been in one- and two-star hotels in the past, but I always expect a clean room despite the rating. Sadly, this hotel fell short. Upon entering the room we were hit with the unpleasant odor of cheap cleaning materials and/or air freshener. I hoped the floor had been shampooed that day because the carpet was a sticky damp. While the sheets appeared clean, the overall humidity and dampness of the room made them feel old. The bathtub/shower and sink were clean, but the toilet was clearly ... Read more

I have stayed at this place several times. The hotel is nothing fancy, but some rooms are in much better shape than others. My last visit was a last minute booking and we took one of the last non-smoking rooms left. It was clean, but not in good condition. The phone didn't work, the furniture was damaged, and the blankets had holes in them. This hotel is fine if you just need to a place to sleep, but I wouldn't recommend a long term stay.

The room I stayed in was on the first floor. It smelled musty and felt damp. The carpet felt damp as well. The floors in the bathroom were sticky. The walls of the room were dirty. There was debris behind the beds. The best part of the room were the beds. They seemed clean, although I smelled perfume on my pillow. There were holes in the walls and in the "wood" furniture. The drawers in the nightstand and dresser could not be opened. There was tissue stuffed into the peephole on the door. I do n... Read more

The location of the hotel puts you right in the middle of Winchester. The college, Old Town, visitor‚??s center, shopping and restaurants are with minutes of the front door. Highway access is easy as well.

Traveling home from a family trip to Ohio. We decided to stop for the night. The room was clean to the naked eye, but there was a strange odor. We hesitated asking to change rooms or complain as we were super tired and just wanted to sleep. After we turned on the air conditioner it seemed to help. The bed and linens were super comfortable. Price was great.

I like this place. I always stay here. Good clean rooms. Great WiFi connection and a great staff. Close to numerous places to eat. Close to Costco with a Golden Corral right across from there. Very close to the interstate. I didn't try the breakfast as I like to get on the road before it starts.

Attention don't waste your money in this hotel. Or ask them to put you on the second floor. Our room was on the first floor. In the front desk there's a sign that no smoking and if you did they will charged you for smoking in the rom. I was like, are you kidding me? Walking to the hallway smells cigarette smoke. I didn't sleep much because even inside the room, smells really bad. Bed is horrible. Bathroom is horrible.. Attention to the owner of this hotel, didn't you checked your hotel? So that ... Read more

Your basic no-frills motel, perfectly fine for resting your head for a couple of nights. To echo other reviews: the hallways smell of cigarette smoke. But other than that and the fact that the bathroom faucet issued water at a Niagara Falls rate no matter what I did I have no complaints. Note that there is no elevator, so for older visitors and people with heavy luggage who have a room on the second floor that could be an issue. The room itself was clean and comfortable. Refrigerator, microwav... Read more

Well I usually don't give poor reviews but this place was definitely not the best. We only stayed here one night to sleep so we could go to Luray in the morning. When we arrived the women at the front desk was pre-occupied with something else felt like I was waiting for a timer to go off till she would say hello. Then there is the room. We had a smoking room for my husband but man did it stink. It was so hot in the room when we came in and the smell was awfull no room should smell like that. We ... Read more

The room itself was ok for sleeping. There was a hair tie on the bathroom floor from the previous person. The tile floors felt sticky from the cleaner that was used. And seriously‚?¶ toaster waffles for breakfast. We gave these to our kids 20 plus years ago.

My second Super 8 stay in a week. Pretty pleased both times. Nothing fancy. Towels very basic, for example. But clean, and the bed was good. Breakfast is adequate. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay again at this one and will stay at others.

Chose this hotel because we had a coupon. No problem using it. I was a little worried about what the hotel would be like because it was so cheap. It was fine. Nice TV, free WI FI and free breakfast. Close to many restaurants. The people at the front desk were very nice. Will stay again.

I guess I thought this would be a dive but we needed a place for the night and I knew it was a national chain so I thought we would give it a chance. From the lady at the counter, very efficient, to the cleanliness of the lobby I was impressed. No frills, nice rooms and a Great Price. We actually began looking for Super 8 on the rest of our trip and were impressed in each one. Thanks ! ! !
