It's a La Quinta, so it's not exactly luxurious, but it was clean, comfortable, and doesn't charge extra for accomodating pets. We booked a double occupancy king bed room. There was plenty of room for our dog's crate. There was no mini-fridge or microwave in the room. There is a microwave in the breakfast buffet area, however, it is closed off except for during breakfast hours. There's an area to walk your dog behind the motel in the rear parking lot, complete with a bag dispenser and pet w... Read more

I redeemed a free night's reward here on Friday night. I was with my wife and we had our dog with us. The hotel looked to have been recently remodeled and was quite nice. Thankfully we had a ground floor room which really helps with the dog. We were only passing through and we had a quiet night, good sleep, and a nice breakfast. Only complaint is the bathroom was rather small. Thank you La Qunita for your wonderful pet policy and your military reward program!

We were here to visit Williamsburg for a few days. As far as hotels go, this was pretty average. The rooms are well maintained, but very small. Beds, though, are the redeeming factor. Very comfy, not too soft, not too hard. Service is adequate, but the front desk people did not seem to be 'interested' in their jobs so much. Only major con about this hotel is that they do not have fridge/microwave. Even though we had paid for the 'executive' room which was supposed to include a fridge, we ... Read more

Nice room. Clean and updated. Great bed. Outdoor pool only. No microwave or fridge in the room. Breakfast included bacon and boiled eggs, biscuits and sausage gravy, oatmeal, etc. Unfortunately, I didn't enjoy the taste of much, and I'm not a picky eater! Fresh fruit consisted of bananas only. It is pet-friendly, which can be good or bad, depending on whether you're a dog lover. It was a fine place to stay...would have expected a few more details (more fresh fruit and some mini-appliance... Read more

We needed accommodation for two nights and La Quinta fitted the bill. It is an off the peg hotel. You are not paying for high end style. The room was big, the bed large enough to loose your wife (could be a bonus) and bathroom had all the necessary parts. Room was clean and well serviced. Breakfast was better than others we have had in similar hotels. All the staff we came across were cheerful and chatty. We were very happy with our stay. Good convenient location as well.

This is a great place to stay while visiting Colonial Williamsburg; just a few blocks away. This is a new hotel, in a very safe section of the city, Lots of good restaurants and shopping near by, some within walking distance of the hotel. The staff was really nice and helpful. Our room was on the 2nd floor but super quiet. They welcomed our little pup with no pet fee. I booked this property based on experiences at other La Quinta properties without reading reviews. Big mistake. We expected a mini fridge and microwave. Nope. The hotel is showing it's age and improvement in the rooms and hallways is cosmetic only. The climate control unit is old and noisy. The TV is at least 10 years old and took forever to move between channels and I couldn't find a channel listing anywhere. A real pain. There was a small leak in the toilet as well. No complaints, thoroughly enjoyed our stay at La Quinta. We travel with greyhounds and we had plenty of floor space in our room for them. Very comfortable bed, clean room, great lighting in bathroom. insulation is good, Could not hear our neighbors. Breakfast was more than enough. Great selections, clean and nice. Front desk, very friendly and helpful. I would stay there again. If I had to say anything negative, it would be that the bathroom is tight (small).

The hotel is located in a great area. It's near all the essentials, parks and attractions. The rooms are clean but for our family of 5 a bit small. Marcia was a great help with everything we needed. Lastly, the continental breakfast was not bad at all just closes really early(9am). Overall, our experience here was good and my teens loved the pool and workout room.

The front desk was courteous and even tried to help us get a better rate for being military. We got there about an 1 before check in and they allowed us to use the pool while we waited for the right time to check in. The hotel room was very nice. Large room and comfy beds. No charge for pets, free breakfast, clean rooms, pool, friendly staff. What more could you ask for in a hotel. The hotel, although it shows some age, has been well maintained and is very clean. Rooms were very nice for a La Quinta and clean. Beds were acceptable. Staff was friendly. Breakfasts were better than average for a hotel offering breakfast at no additional charge. We often choose the La Quinta brand because we travel with 2 dogs and they do not charge additional. This La Quinta we can recommend to travelers not staying with dogs.

This hotel feels surprisingly new and the exterior even looks nicer than the Hilton and other hotels surrounding. Hot showers, clean room, working A/C, comfortable bed, and nice staff when checking in late. Only thing I wish we could have done was check out a little late which they would not budge on, even though it was a weekday and there was barely anyone else on the floor we were on. Everything here is on the average. Price is reasonable and comes with free breakfast. Internet is fast and free. They do have a pool but make sure you don't pass through the basement if you don't want to smell Clorox. The upside is its close to the colonial triangle which is good. It's also nearby some local restaurants you can choose from. Beside the hotel is a 7-11 so you won't have to worry if you forgot to bring your toothbrush.
