This was not our first stay and we had recommended the place to our friends travelling with us. Our rooms were in the renovated part of the hotel. Decorators did a splendid job. Bed comfy as always, plenty of pillows including a body pillow, A/C the best I have experienced lately, kept the consistent room temp. Towels big, white and fluffy. Plenty of good quality toiletries. Staff very accommodating, ensuring worry free holidays. Good breakfast and light dinner included. Dinner only Mo-Thu. Ho... Read more

My family of four stayed for a small 2night vacation and while there wasn't much to do in Williamsburg, it was still fun to be away from home for a little but, even if it took a 7 hr drive with 2 kids aged 7 and 3!! Haha it would have been nice if there was a better swimming pool, though! That was our least favorite part! There was no accommodations for little kids!! Just 5 ft and 3 ft sections!

We stayed at the double rooms suite with 3 kids and 4 adults. The space is more than enough for all of us. There is also a pull out couch in the living room. When were there, they just finished remodeling and putting in new furnitures for the living room. We found that the old ones were actually more comfortable to sit but looked nicer than old ones. The kitchen has all the basic cooking utensils, pots and pans. No washing stuff but has a dishwasher. The cleaning staff will run the dishes... Read more

I ofen stay in Homewoood Suites. While there was nothing seriously wrong here I would have to just rate it average. While everyone was quite pleasant our cleaning staff did not completely clean our room(dirty glasses, no tissues) despite a sizable tip. The food ws unremarkable.

Stayed in 2 BR suite on 2nd floor for just one night. In need of updating - and they were in the middle of remodeling a bit at a time (the room next door had been gutted). Let's see... outlets in the bedroom are either inaccessible or will not hold a plug anymore (the internal clips are worn out). Either no light, or poor light, in both bathrooms (got to shower in the dark). Hair dryer not working. AC noisy, Beds are comfortable, but furniture overall pretty worn. Duvet covers are staine... We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite. On entering our room, the first thing I noticed was the missing tiles in the living room. Secondly, the master bedroom light did not work. Also, the closet doors were not even assembled. They were just resting against the wall inside the closet.

Rooms are spacious and clean. The cleaning ladies were friendly and efficient, but the evening social was awful and the breakfast was sub-standard. We have stayed at a number of Homewood Suites over the years because we have a large family and like having everyone in the same suite instead of separate rooms. We have come to appreciate the quality of the breakfast that is provided by Homewood Suites compared to other hotel chains. However, our experience at this location was disappointing. The cleanliness of the entire breakfast area was less than desirable on the first morning, but seemed to improve the following days when the regular st... Read more

We spent five nights at this hotel as part of our family vacation and I was disappointed in just about every aspect. Upon arrival, the floor in the kitchenette had sticky candy left on the tile, the pillows had black hair on them and there were no sheets on the sleeper sofa. Every evening we would return to our room to find something wrong, such as no towels, full garbage cans, no coffee, cleaning supplies left in the room, etc, etc, etc. The breakfast varied between disgusting and barely edible. ... Perfect for a family of 4. Great location to the Colonial Williamsburg visitor center. (We drove there every day.) Having a kitchen and ordering a pizza for both nights was a much cheaper option than eating out. Comfy beds, ceiling fan, and blackout curtains made it hard to get up in the morning. Food was ok, but the room kitchen made up for that. Note, there weren't doors between the sink and family room area.
