This Hotel was a little out of the way for our class in New Town but the price was right and I like the predictibility of Hampton Inn. The Beds were comfortable, the room a bit shabby and run down but OK. The Bathroom was clean but not arranged efficiently so it was a little awkward. But plenty of hot water and good pressure. Microwave and Fridge included in our room which is nice. Breakfast was standard hotel fare. The bacon was good and they have waffles for kids. I do apriciate that i... Read more

I stayed here as bookends to a business event in order to enjoy the town a bit more. The service was terrific and the location is ideal. This is a new-ish Hampton with appropriate decor and comfortable rooms. I'm sure it exceeds the standards of the best "Inn" if early travelers rolled the clock ahead a few hundred years.

We stay exclusively at Hilton properties and this is. Among the best of the bunch. Suites make travel with teens far less cramped. Access to restaurants and the Visitors Center is ideal. Nice pool area, very green surroundings and quiet, too. Always feel special in a Hampton!

The location was all around perfect and very close to downtown Colonial Area. The rooms were clean and the staff was outstanding. I do think I have interacted with staff from the front desk to the breakfast area to housekeeping that were more pleasant and engaging. The complimentary breakfast was diverse and filling.

We arrived late evening (after 9pm), the staff was friendly. The hotel was clean. The beds were comfortable. We like the fact the beds are queens, as opposed to doubles. We were disappointed the hotel doesn't do cookies in the evenings, but this is definitely not a deal breaker for us. The breakfast didn't have as many options as some of the Hampton Inns we have been to, but it was an adequate selection and it was fresh. Convenient location Typical pool with to much chlorine AC is located right next to bed and blows directly on you making it difficult to keep the room cool without freezing while the air is blowing. I don't have anything else to say about this hotel to type 200 characters.

We found this to be a convenient and pleasant place to stay and certainly met our needs during our visit to Colonial Williamsburg and Jamestown. Just a short drive to the visitors center with no traffic problems. Restaurants are close by with lots of choices. The hotel was clean, attractive and comfortable. I'm surprised at the negative reviews. I didn't expect a 5 star spa hotel. It was all we needed...clean, comfortable, safe, nicely decorated and pleasant staff. Completely satisfied.

This is a standard Hampton Inn property, and has all of the amenities you'd expect. It's convenient to everything you want to see and do in Williamsburg. A note for the hotel management/staff, while calling after check-in to ensure everything is ok in the room is a nice gesture, I'd recommend instead telling guests at check-in to please call the front desk if anything is not satisfactory. Be advised this hotel shares a parking lot with some sort of hotel that people live in. When we arrived we noticed those residents sitting in sofas outside of their rooms, hanging off the balcony watching the guests of the Hampton Inn's comings and goings. We did not feel comfortable walking across the parking lot at night nor leaving our vehicle in this area. We have been staying at this Hampton Inn for years and always come back because the reservation staff is terrific; our rooms have been clean and inviting; the breakfast is definitely a hit with families. We would recommend this hotal.

The title says it all. Hotel was okay but would not stay hear again unless they do a major update. Rooms had torn curtains that looked like they were at least 10 - 15 years old, maybe more. The tile floors seemed like someone used furniture polish for cleaning, they were slick as an ice skating rink. Room was clean but was way outdated. Felt like stepping back into the 80's or 90's.

Booked this hotel because of past experience with the brand. Close to Colonial Williamsburg-our destination. Near good restaurants for dinner. Will definitely continue to stay at Hampton Inn, if available.

I would have rated the hotel higher, but there was a problem with (no) Wi-Fi connection with smartphones, and the hotel front desk knew about the problem (and didn't get it fixed, or didn't know how to get the problem fixed). I could connect to Wi-Fi on my laptop computer with a Virtual Private Network (VPN) connection in my room. Otherwise, this was a typical Hampton Inn with the quality I expect. The lobby and breakfast area were spacious. The room and bathroom were functional with the typical... Read more

Hampton Inn & Suites was a great hotel to stay at to see the sites in the Williamsburg area. Their customer service at the front desk was great. Rooms are well appointed and they have a daily free breakfast which is continually restocked during service hours. The hotel has info sheets with directions that cover all major tourist attractions and some of the best local restaurants. This is a really nice, well maintained hotel!

Room was terribly noisy. Next to elevator . Heard everyone's early morning conversations. Walls paper thin. Room had an odd smell. Not fresh. First and last time at a Hampton Inn. Usually stay at Marriott's. Quality worth a little extra cost.

the personnel were great, helpful, caring could not ask for better service. i would like to give our morning breakfast couple a special cudo, "man and a woman" were great, what workers, they were exceptional, they even looked out for the kids when the parents were not as attentive as they could be, i wish they could be at every Hampton inn we stay at. very comfortable stay!!!!!!!!!!!

We stayed in the queen suite room. Our first stay was on the first floor and the second time was in room 331. The beds were comfortable. In both rooms, there was wear and tear on the carpet and the tiles in the bathroom were loose in places in 331. I felt the hallway smelled slightly like natural gas on the third floor, but the room had no odor. The pool area looked nice but we didn't use it. The breakfast was decent and the workers there were very nice. I would stay there again if in tha... Read more

This is a typical Hampton Inn. The lobby and breakfast area is of the newer style of Hampton Inn properties. The room was clean and comfortable. The heat worked well as did the shower. There was plenty of hot water. The rooms are showing some wear and tear and could use some updating. However, in general, this property is fine, the staff is helpful, the breakfast is typical and continually refilled. I would not hesitate to stay here again. The location is on the quiet end of town, about ... Read more

Overall great. The security latch was so loose I tightened the screws myself. The closet door handle was broken and would swing open randomly. I tried to fix this site well, but left my tool box at home!

I have stayed at this hotel for the past five years at least. Every experience has been wonderful from the staff to the accommodations to our breakfast the next morning we have a wonderful time and are treated like family. We always look forward to our stay at the Hampton Inn and suites Historic district right in the middle of colonial Williamsburg.

This hotel was decorated for Christmas and ready to receive guests! The lobby was beautiful, the breakfast had a lot of choices and the bed was like sleeping on a cloud. The accommodations were perfect for a short overnight stay. I would certainly come back to this hotel with my family.

I had a king junior suite - large, quiet room, great bed, nice sofa and kitchen area and bath area. Really had everything you need in a hotel room. Christmas Tree in lounge area was especially beautiful. Staff was very nice. Breakfast included and huge selection. Will stay here again.

Stayed at this hotel and found it to be very comfortable, convenient, and clean. The only room available was handicap accessible and to my advantage it was very big, had a separate sitting area. Indoor pool and hot tub was nice. Breakfast selection quite large, well stocked and maintained by servers. Coffee and tea and fruit available anytime. Very nice! I enjoyed my stay!

Convenient location to Williamsburg Historic area and shopping outlets. The gym was nice but the pool had a lot of chlorine that hurt eyes. It was clean and staff very nice. The breakfast bar had sausages, eggs, waffles, donut and variety of breakfast food.

Lovely place to celebrate the holiday; hotel clean, pleasant and close to everything. We had stayed in the hotel 3 times previously. We were upset this time as our door lock was broken and despite complaining about it to the front desk, it was never repaired.
