Room 504 top floor corner room, very spacious and clean. Stayed for William & Mary graduation weekend. Front desk is great! Very friendly, helpful, courteous folks- especially Jean!! Great property, convenient to everything! The only complaint for me was that I like white noise of a constant fan- for some reason, the air conditioner in all the rooms my entire family reserved had no option for that. There WAS a constant on setting, but it did not work- only worked on AUTO in all rooms. A... Read more

My wife and I made our first stay at this property for two consecutive nights. We were in a king suite that was very well furnished and very comfortable. The room was on the back of the hotel and was very quiet; however, that might have been different had the outdoor pool below our room been in use. Beyond the room, the staff members were friendly and efficient, and the breakfast area, although somewhat meager in its offerings compared to other Hampton Inns at which we've stayed, was kept well-s... We have stayed here in the past and with a last minute change in our weekend plans, we deceived to stay again since they had room available. The best feature about this hotel is that it sits back off the busy road with woods in the backside. It was a very quiet and we all had a good nights rest. Our room was very spacious and fairly clean. The carpet thoughout the entire property seemed a little dirty, the decor was slightly dated and the furniture was a little worn. We arrived after three pm with reservations for two rooms. I was given my key card and made my way to the room, only to find housekeeping working and to be told that it would not be ready for at least half an hour. The front desk changed my room for me. When I unpacked and looked for a drinking glass, all I could find were paper cups. I called the front desk and asked if I could get a real "glass" glass downstairs; the young woman said yes, but when I got there she told me that all they had i... Read more

During my stay at this location, I must admit that I was satisfied more than I can say. The rooms were immaculate, and I mean clean from top to bottom. The bed was as comfortable as they come, and the bathrooms as well. There are numerous restaurants in the vicinity, some in walking distance. I had the pleasure to meet Ms. Michelle and Ms. Gladys. This is a very good hotel in a convenient location in Virginia. Near the parks and other attractions. My family stays here every year and is very happy with the accommodations. The only experience that is lacking is the breakfast. There is far to few seats to accommodate the guests and the process of getting the food out is slow. We tend to eat out at the local Denny's instead. That being said we still book each year.

We just stayed here for three nights while enjoying Williamsburg. We always stay at Hampton Inns, but have found some lately that are looking dated. This one is kept in great shape and immaculately clean. The young man that checked us in was efficient and helpful with all of our questions. Through our stay there was only one gal at the front desk who didn't greet us as we were coming and going. All the others were pleasant and helpful. Not one complaint during our stay from July 4th- 7th.

Nice place to stay. very close to all the sites. My only complaint and this goes for all Hampton inns in general, is that the breakfasts have gone down in quality. They used to have more healthy selections with real eggs but now it's powdered eggs and fake cheese and not very healthy or good.

Room was clean air was cold! Breakfast could not keep up with the guests and the staff was rushed and would hide when people asked for assistance. Subpar standards for the Hampton Inn brand. Nice clean room, great staff, good breakfast! One problem, paid extra for a rollaway bed but our room was too small! Had to put the rollaway between the two queens ( very tight fit)and I noticed that other rooms with 2 queens were much larger! I think when you pay extra for a rollaway they should give you a room large enough to accommodate the bed! We managed however, and would stay again!

The hotel room was so hot. When I took my shoes off, the carpet was so hot it felt like we had heated carpet. We asked that it get fixed, and it did not. This is really hard when it was in the upper 90's in Williamsburg that day. They did nothing to help us out at all after we complained about it. The food for breakfast was good. Perfectly clean and adequate as Hampton Inns generally are. Excellent A/C during an oppressive heat wave, and two swimming pools (one indoor one outdoor). Place was booked solid, with vacationing families (not surprising) but still maintained good rates, and managed to get us all through the breakfast thanks to abundant and attentive staff. Stayed here for an activity in Colonial Williamsburg and this hotel was conveniently located. Lobby area was nice, hallways and rooms are in need of some updating. Breakfast staff was nice; food was so-so and not stocked very well, but for a free breakfast it's fine.

We had a wonderful stay at the Hampton Inn and the location is perfect. Everything is clean and ready for our arrival. We enjoyed the indoor pool too. Breakfast was excellent and always well prepared. The staff also gave us additional time needed and did not make us feel rushed. Thank you breakfast team.

We've stayed in this hotel several times. I appreciate the consistent quality of service, the cleanliness, the amenities, the price, the location, and the helpful and friendly staff. It is nice to be able to count on a level of quality and not be disappointed.

Wonderful room, comfortable beds, great location, front desk staff went out of their way to make sure we had all we needed. Told us great places to eat. Room was very clean and quiet. Sure like having a fridge and microwave. Will stay here again.

We were a group of six couples and received a wonderful AARP rate, including late check-out. The rooms were in fact suites, with kitchenettes and pull-out sofa beds. We will remember this when we bring our grandchildren along next time. The Hampton Inn was in consistent with other Hampton Inns around the country. Friendly and efficient staff. Attractive infrastructure and convenient to everything in Williamsburg. We'll be back when we come to Williamsburg the next time!

Beds too hard, pillows wayyyy too soft. All rooms do NOT have refrigerators or micros. Seems like they went cheap with the beds, linen, pillows and no refrigerators in all rooms. I've stayed in many HAMPTONS - this I have never experienced before. The staff and "hotel" were nice outside of the things I mentioned above. If you are in a bind stay.

Room and bathroom could have been cleaner and inspected for problems better prior to our check in. Problems were, however, resolved quickly while we were out. Breakfast choices were minimal but acceptable.

This hotel is located close to the Historic Area, only a 5 minute drive away. It is typical of most other Hampton's, nothing exceptional about it....but clean and staff is friendly/helpful. Breakfasts are the usual, not very interesting, but nice to have included. Coffee/tea is available all day. No major complaints, and I the price is good.

The room was nice. We stayed in the suite on the first floor. The heater was very noisy when it would cut off. The microwave oven did not work. The remote for TV was not in order of the sheet for each channel. Breakfast was nice. We ate there twice.

Excellent moderately price hotel with great staff. close to Colonial Williamsburg and to train station. No car needed if you are fit and can walk. Terrific bed. Breakfast needs improvement with fresh cereal fruit, higher quality coffee and bakery items. I like china plates too.

The Hampton Inn was a good place to stay for my Thanksgiving Retreat. It was near to the sights: Williamsburg and Jamestown and Yorktown. It was convenient to the Opus 9 restaurant that we had our Thanksgiving buffet. Everything was very nice at the hotel. Good breakfast and clean room.

Best hotel in the area for cleanliness, great rooms, great breakfast, and super nice staff. And it's as close to Williamburg as you can get! We had a wonderful stay on our annual family trip here, and I highly recommend this Hampton Inn.

Nice, comfortable room, but lacked fridge and microwave. Also lights at bed headboard reflected directly on tv screen. You have to turn them off to watch tv from the bed. Overall good value, but could be better amenities in the room.
