Very efficient and friendly staff. Wonderful breakfast and complimentary happy hour.We had occasion to entertain family in the Jefferson room catered by the hotel. Excellent food and impeccable service. Tanya and her servers made the whole experience a memorable evening for us all.

No staff at the front desk at check in. Dangerous conditions in the room. No one told us breakfast times. I could go on. No one with a family souls stay here. I guess it would be fine for a single or business traveler.

Staff was superb--always friendly and helpful. Hotel very clean. Front desk kept us informed of dining times for bus tours so we had no waiting for an excellent breakfast with made to order eggs, omelets and French toast. Our group opened happy hour, stayed for a while and dined in hotel restaurant. Restaurant food was okay and prevented drinking and driving. Stayed in a King/suite with separate sitting room with TV and mini-kitchen and a walk-in shower. Room was clean and size was more than ade... Read more

During visit to Williamsburg area we spent four nights at Embassy Suites. Centrally located and convenient to restaurants and shopping on Richmond Rd. Excellent suite. Great made to order breakfast. Good service. Wonderful host reception each evening with snacks and free drinks from the bar. Desk clerk was exceptionally helpful.

The hotel was lovely, the staff was very accommodating. It is a very convenient place to stay if you are visiting Williamsburg. This property has in room dining, which was very helpful to us on our trip. We would definitely stay there again.

My fiance and I toke a weekend to Busch Gardens and stayed at this hotel. When you walk it, you can tell it's nice. Smells clean, newly renovated, and great service. The bed was clean and soft, the bathroom was great, and they were 2 tvs. They had complimentary drinks (Happy Hour), the employees made free drinks for everyone. She made my fiance a peach alcohol cocktail, it was delicious. And I love anything free, soooo the breakfast was the best. They had everything you could think of; made to o... Read more

On vacation, we recently stayed at both hotels. Best experience ever. The rooms were so nice, separate Living room w/TV and King Bedroom w/TV. Breakfast was delicious: pancakes, sausage, bacon, grits, oatmeal, muffins, cereal, milk, juice, coffee, etc. The chef will prepare you a custom omlet! The managers evening reception was so much fun. Free open bar and delicious snacks for 2 hours! We met some great travelers. Will definately stay at Embassy Suites on all our future vacations. Comfortable... Read more

This was our first experience at an Embassy Suites Hotel and we were very pleased! Our room was very clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I like having the 2 separate rooms (sleeping & "sitting" rooms) for such a reasonable price. I guess it does make the 2 spaces smaller than if it was one big room, but I tend to wake much earlier than my husband, and I could be in the separate room watching TV and sewing or reading with out disturbing him. There were several groups of childr... Read more

There were four bus loads of elementary and high school age children during my visit May 27th- May 30th. I actually checked out a day early because of the issues I experiences. On the first night, room 408, upon entering our room other was extremely musty. After further evaluation it was realized that the bedroom ceiling had a moisture problem and actual pieces of the popcorn ceiling had falling on my bed and my face while I was sleeping. This issue was expressed to the front desk. Second night... Read more

Cleanliness of room could have been better. The staff and the free drinks and good breakfast made up for that though. The bed was a little hard so didn't sleep well. Hotel was close to a lot of what we did and had great restaurants near by.

Upon arrival at the hotel, our room was not ready. They sent us to our room, as if it were ready, but the housekeeper was still in there. She said all it needed was towels, so we waited in the hall. When we went in, I began to set up my son's sleeping bag on the floor in the bedroom. There were candy wrappers, peanuts, and other pieces of trash on the floor between the two beds. Not only is this disgusting, but I have an 8 month old baby who crawls around on the floor and puts things in her mout... Read more

My wife and daughter stayed here in June 2016 during the wedding of our son in Williamsburg. Our room, on the 5th floor, was comfortable (especially the beds) and clean, and everything worked well. The complimentary breakfast was among the best I've seen in any hotel. Amazing custom made omelettes! Nice indoor pool and exercise area. And a very convenient location. The only less than five star feature is the design of the building itself. The five floors are built around a central atri... Read more

We stayed on the first floor and outside of our room keys not working initially and the pool looking cloudy everything else was fine. The 'happy hour' drinks were good though limited. The snacks provided during 'happy hour' was tasty. The hotel is smaller than most Embassy Suites but I'm assuming that it's because of the location as most of the hotels where small. Overall a great place to stay and relax after a long day of sight seeing and playing

Always enjoy my stays here. It may seem pricey, but if you take full advantage of the manager's receptions and free, full breakfast, it can be well worth the cost. No hot tub, but a nice salt-water pool, too.

We arrived shortly before check in on a very busy Saturday. Clearly, the front desk and housekeeping staff was not prepared for so many guests attempting to check in at 4:00 pm. We were told our room would be ready shortly as housekeeping still needed to make the beds. We're fairly patient and understanding so this wasn't a problem. We had a non smoking room - 510 - but it was in the same hallway as smoking rooms so the hall smelled from time to time. Our room did not have an odor. When we... Read more

My family and I stayed for 3 nights at the end of June. I love how open the hotel is. The staff always greets you when you pass by. Our room was on the third floor away from the elevator, which we didn't mind because it seemed crowded and we used the stairs. The room was big enough to spread out and it was very clean and comfortable with a mini fridge and a microwave. My kids enjoyed the indoor pool every day. We liked the breakfast every morning. I stayed here with my aunt and my nephew while we went to Busch Gardens for a few days. With 3 generations traveling, I can't think of anything that would be more awkward than having to share a bed. Thus the beauty of Embassy Suites! Lots of space to spread out plus breakfast is included. The hotel is super clean, the staff is very nice, and the lobby/atrium is attractive. Stayed at Embassy Suites in Williamsburg over the 4th of July weekend. The hotel was fine for a weekend trip but nothing outstanding. If room rate was similar or less expensive than other hotels in area I would recommend booking, but I would not choose this hotel if it was more expensive than competition. Let me put this in context. My husband and I decided last minute to take a weekend trip to Williamsburg. My first choice was to book a hotel within walking distance of Colonial Williamsburg... Our family was meeting another family for a short vacation. They live in GA and we live in NY so VA is our half-way point and we met in Colonial Williamsburg. The hotel was average in it's appearance and level of comfort. It is conveniently located near restaurants, shopping and amusement parks. There were two noteworthy experiences in regards to staff. There was a hotel manager named David who went above and beyond to assist our son with his internet connection in our room. He was approac... Read more

We just stayed at the embassy suites in Williamsburg this weekend. The overall service was very good. Breakfast was outstanding and the staff were excellent. My husband made a point to speak to the managers about how wonderful that crew was. Our room was clean though the pull out bed was dressed with evidence that it wasn't cleaned. The challenge with pull out beds is that families put them back in to use the couch so this can be missed by housekeeping. We found the housekeeping staff to be acc... Read more

Stayed here for 3 nights. Staff are very courteous and nice. Breakfast is great! Made-to-order omelets and abundance in food (hot cereal, fruits, pancakes, sausage, bacon, etc.). With this kind of breakfast we already saved a lot of money. This is also the only hotel who can accommodate 6 people in a room. The pool is nice (salt water) and clean. Even the room is very clean. They even have free happy hour for 2 hours plus snacks. Hubby is very happy with the stay. Will definitely stay again.

Excellent rooms and service, but was under construction and didn't know pool was closed. The requested items we sent through emails were never in our rooms. We called several times but still never received requested items. The hotel was the one who sent the email for any requests we may have and actually never received them so it's a waste of time answering emails or calling the front desk.
