We checked into the hotel on May 31. The staff was courteous but we found a glass that had lipstick on in that just got covered for our use . The front desk didn't seem bothered by it we reported it to them

The experience at this hotel was excellent. The proximity to Busch Gardens made this stay worthwhile! Only complaints are that the doors are thin allowing you to hear everyone in the hallway perfectly and the floor in the room was dirty leaving a film on the bottom of my feet.

This hotel is dirty, old, and has some of the most inconsiderate employees I have ever met. I was shocked at how we were treated by front desk staff and cleaning staff. At one point an employee shoved us aside and hopped on the elevator before us going down to the laundry room when we had waited nearly five minutes after hitting the up button and waiting for the elevator to come. She shoved us aside as if we weren't guests of the hotel. The first room we were placed in smelled so strongly of mo... Read more

This was a disappointing stay. The room had large smear of something nasty (appeared to be blood) on one wall, and other spatters on the bathroom door. Just plain annoying - the toilet was not fully functional (very loose toilet seat, did not ever flush fully, and lever had to be held down, and the lid of the tank was too small for the toilet, so it didn't fully cover the tank). I was at this facility for a meeting, and adding to the grief was that they served super-small cans of soda (mayb... Read more

First floor room for visit to local water parks. Room was fine - the usual. Front desk staff was very friendly and personable every time we were in the lobby, not just the check in and check out process. Kevin (waiter) in the dining room was great as well. Housekeeping respected our privacy with the sign left on the door and was nice enough to leave extra towels in a bag outside our door without being asked. I would like to ditto the other reviews. The staff was nice and warm. But the couch was old and carpet was old. They do not provide microwave at 125$ per night. And breakfast buffet was over priced. But again loved the staff there. It is very near to Busch gardens so plenty of food business around.

The bed not made up and towels still on the bathroom floor. Too busy I guess. Second, if you plan to workout in their fitness facility, you had better get there early. We only stayed one evening. The hallways are dank. The walks and carpeting need to be updated. The ceiling in our room started leaking from the rain at 11:00pm, it was obviously and ongoing issue since the spot where it was driioping was covered in caulking. I had two sleeping children so I wasn't going to pack and move to another room. We moved to the Courtyard Marriott the next night and it was much nicer.

We love how close the hotel is to Busch Gardens. It is literally 3 minutes. The room was clean and we were pleased with that. The bathroom was clean, but the tub needs some work--it was nothing housekeeping did or didn't do. It was just the tape-like material used for grout work that needed to be redone.. The size of the bathroom was really small, so only one person can get ready at the time. I don't have any negative feedback--just suggestions for updating. I was pleased with the staff and w... My friend and I stayed here while exploring Williamsburg. We enjoyed their shuttle to Bush Gardens and the staff was all very polite. The rooms were clean and the restaurants were a little pricey but the food was good. We had a room next to the pool so things could be a little loud at times but for the most part it didn't bother us. They also give you a cookie at check in and check out!

I expected more from a Hilton hotel. Our room was nice and clean, and the bed was comfortable. However, we were a long walk from the lobby. It looked as though our room was in a new wing so we really had to hike to get there. And the walls were very thin--we could hear everything (and I mean EVERYTHING,!) that went on in the next room, including their conversations. They also skimped on amenities like cups, soap and other toiletries. The pool was nice though. I expected better.

The Double Tree is a great place to stay for business or pleasure with your family. You will enjoy the southern hospitality and the delicious Chocolate Chip Cookies! I would rate this hotel as a 5 STAR facility.

I experienced a handful of issues related to maintennace, cleanliness, safety, and quality. The room I stayed in was a suite; it was pleasant but needed some tlc. The hallways both mornings around 7:30 were lined with housekeeping trash or the previous nights room service from other guests. I found some broken glass in the main dining area and told the hostess. It was not cleaned up for two days which I felt posed a safety hazard to my kids. Overall quality is average. Nothing about this H... Read more

I would like to say a special thank you to KYA and KOREY for their helpfulness and willingness to go out of their way to make sure we had a wonderful stay for our conference. If we get to come back to the area, I will definitely choose this hotel.

We were booked at the DoubleTree and loved it. We were offered a cookie upon check in, the staff was friendly and accomodating, and everyone went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable! We needed a later check-out time due to our conference, and this was taken care of promptly.

The registration and check out processes was quick and friendly. Kaya is a delightful young lady! The room was very clean and comfortable. I enjoyed a discounted movie one night for & 7.99 which was a nice alternative to the $17.99 choices. The sports themed restaurant served a great cheese burger and fries at a reasonable price. My overall experience at this hotel was an excellent one.

Exceptionally comfortable and clean rooms in a quiet and secluded location in Williamsburg. The experience, from check-in to check-out, was wonderful. The staff, Shawn, at the front desk, to the housekeeping team, to the breakfast waitstaff were exceedingly friendly and routinely asked us how our stay was going. Shawn greeted us by name at every encounter during our five-day stay. What a great experience.

First time staying at Double Tree and I am very pleased! Even the complementary coffee ??? is delicious ??? definitely would recommend. Very close to attractions and outlets. Great Italian restaurant nearby, Maurizio's. Just ate there, going back for dessert after a nap ??

Enjoyed staying here over thanksgiving weekend. The hotel check in was easy and quick, digital key is great and convenient. The room was clean and nice, the bathroom was clean but really small. The coffee coupons for Starbucks are nice but be aware that you can't use your Starbucks app because it isn't technically a Starbucks. The indoor pool was a nice touch to have for thanksgiving time of year. It's super close to Busch gardens, you could walk if you wanted which is great. Close to lots of re... Read more

Have stayed here before and went back for a night before Thanksgiving with the Bed and Breakfast deal for the breakfast buffet in the morning. The buffet, which we have had before, was about half what it was the previous visit. Wonder if they were charging full buffet price for this. If so, people were getting really ripped off, I felt like we were.

I stayed at this hotel last year around the same time, and it was not the best stay. However, this time it felt like I was at home. First of all, the front desk supervisor Korey was awesome. Any bad memories I had before were completely demolished by his customer service. I was told that the hotel was packed before I arrived, so I couldn't have a upgrade. Well I asked him and he didn't hesitate to make it happen. Korey took care of me and all my guest. The room he gave me was awesome and had a n... Read more

We've been to over a dozen locations for single and multi-day stays. Most were dated and showed the wear and tear and were somewhat noisy! The DoubleTree was a complete change... new, high end furnishings and decor, very comfortable bed, very quiet. Everything exceeded the best we have had at "exclusive" and very pricey locations throughout East and West Coast travels. A real gem. It is where we will continue to stay at for our quarterly trips to Williamsburg!!! Enjoy something special!!!

The Doubletree by Hilton Williamsburg VA was a wonderful hotel. Warm and inviting with the amazing chocolate chip walnut cookies and hot apple cider to the efficient, caring staff who checked us in, then into our comfortable, spacious room. During our 7 night stay each staff member was cordial and courteous always a friendly greeting whether in the hall or in one of the restaurants. Our Thanksgiving buffet made being away from home a little bit better thanks to the delicious, endless array of fo... Read more

The staff was great, the additional facilities such as the gym and pools were great, however the rooms were drastically outdated and could really use an uplift. It would have made our trip much more enjoyable given my wife and I booked a suite just for the two of us. The walls were also very thin, and listening to the guests next to you coughing is rather gross.

We came to Busch gardens for the Thanksgiving weekend and it is so close to it that you do not need to stay anywhere else. We only stayed for one night. But only thing I felt was it is dated and rooms need to be refurberished. They look very old.

Our family of 5 stayed here for a long weekend in Williamsburg. The hotel served as a great base location to see Jametown, Army Transportation Museum and Colonial Williamsburg. Our larger 2 Queen/1 sleeper sofa room was comfortable and clean. It was in good condition (only showing slight wear). The breakfast buffet was good, but I was glad that Hilton Honors picked up the tab for 2 people, otherwise $17 for adults and ~$10 for 12 and under. My only ding is the bathroom in that oversized roo... Read more

Great location & convenient to Christmas Town. Nice clean & quiet room..carpet a little worn but ok. Love being greeted with warm chocolate chip cookies & friendly staff. Breakfast is not included on stay & we felt it was a little pricey so we didn't eat. We did love the coffee! This is a really good hotel & location...recommend it highly for a good value.
