This is one of the best hotels for service and peace and quite in the District. Staff are friendly and my experience was wonderful. Overall this is the place to stay in the District. It is close to the Metro (with shuttle service to the Metro station every 20 minutes if you do not want to walk) and pick-up and deliver service every 20 minutes to Regan National Airport. Superb Hotel.

Overall a very good quality hotel. Comfortable & well appointed rooms. First rate staff. Decent but not exceptional restaurant. No Regency Club even though it's called Hyatt Regency. Convenient to DCA airport, downtown DC and northern Virginia.

I booked quite a ways in advance under Gold Passport, and was very pleased with the quality of the room for the price. The staff was friendly and the room clean, quiet and comfortable. And I felt pretty safe what with all the Naval officers running around. :)

Definitely a convenient location with decent rooms and a friendly staff. However, I would suggest "late night dining" somewhere other than in the hotel "Lobbibar". Although the service was good, the food was sub-par and definitely over-priced. If you are flying in and staying for a short night you are better off buying a to go meal at the airport.

I usually wait until I check out before writing a review however, having just checked in, I am irked. There is no ladies dressing table or mirror anywhere near an outlet for hairdryers etc. I might be alone here but I am not going to dry my hair in a steamy bathroom after taking a shower. When will hotels start to cater to the requirements of women business travelers, I keep asking myself. There is no breakfast free at this hotel and I have a shower but no tub. Two bottled waters at $3.00 e... Read more

The hotel was absolutely wonderful, the gym was really nice and the valet was definitely on point. The room was really nice we loved the view from the 17th floor and the hotel was central to a lot of familiar places in walking distance. We will be back just for a get away.

Nice place to stay overnight and delivered my amenity just as promised. I stayed overnight because of my professional association's annual holiday party. Because I came out far from town from Delaware to Virginia, I used train commute to DC and hotel does offer shuttle but only at airport and not crystal city station. Next time using metro rail from union station will get off at airport and not crystal city which had me lost since I was not familiar. Thank you even if transporting me from crysta... Read more

I took the shuttle to Reagan airport with my 1.5 year old. Not very easy for a toddler to stay seated on a shuttle! Our driver, Billy, was great! He noticed my squirmy toddler and asked if he would like a muffin. He came back with a huge plate of breakfast goodies and oj. This definitely helped the ride go much smoother. What a thoughtful gesture!

Great hotel but the customer service could be a bit better to make you feel welcome. Double room beds are a bit smaller and is harder for two people to share a bed. Normally they are queen beds, but I think they are standard double. Did not sleep well.

The check in was good. Then it went downhill from the time my keycard would not work. The staff acted like I did something wrong when in fact the battery on the door was dead!! And on Saturday night, they did not have any food for room service!! Be aware that they charge $32 for valet parking, even though you are a guest at the hotel!! I had to park around the corner in a garage. Never will I stay there again....oh and bring your own water because they charge $3 a bottle!!!
