Good location, great accommodations, breakfast buffet has something for everyone. Staff helpful. Clean facility. Very affordable. Looking forward to staying at Hyatt Place in September. At their Chesapeake Virginia location.

Room was big and clean. Couple of concerns I had was when a room was booked for 5 adults, I would expect at least 2 baths and enough bathroom accessories which was missing here. For adults up to 3, I would think this is a great choice, but not over that. Also the breakfast was not very great!

Friendly greeting upon late arrival (9pm). Smooth check in. Was told there is beer and wine available for purchase. Offered free bottle of water. Room clean. Love the layout of the room with a partial wall separating seating area from bed and bath. Quiet. Great night sleep. Up and out next morning. Plenty of parking. Lots of construction in the area but didn't bother me.

We always prefer to stay at Hyatt, as much as possible (as I have their membership) and this time also, I had a good experience. The staff was courteous and provided us two cribs and a microwave per our request. It is very welcoming of families and easy to be at if you have young babies. I will recommend it for others.

Came here for a half way spot in between Frederick MD and Richmond VA for a one night stay with a good friend I haven't seen in a long while. I am just getting to know these Hyatt Place properties but this room was very accommodating as it had an L shaped couch separate from the Bedroom area (two Queens) (I think this is one of their trademarks to offer the sitting area.) This made it perfect for hanging out to talk and have a few drinks. We went out later to the Herndon area which had a good s... Read more

This is my second stay at a Hyatt Place and compared to the two I see the chain works hard to keep things the same. The room here was very generous with ample space to stretch out, provide a good work space and plenty of room to sleep and get ready in the morning. The bed was comfortable, restroom (and the whole room) very clean. The checkin staff were very friendly and efficient. I think the only area I would suggest could use some improvement would be the free breakfast options. There were... Read more

Four night stay in early June 2016 was a dissapointment. Mattresses are covered in some kind of 'material' that sounds like waxed paper. It's no problem if you are by yourself, but when one rolls over in bed it sounds like I'm rolling around on gift wrap paper, disturbing my wife. The hotel had a group of middle school students who were constantly in and out of the rooms slamming doors, yelling, etc. Calls to the front desk were ineffective. Thank god they were served breakfast in a seperate are... Read more

Our family of 5 (3 kids ages 16, 13 and 10) stayed here the night before our early morning flight to Jamaica for a family vacation, left our car there for the week, and then stayed again the night we returned from a long, late flight. Took the first (5:00 am) shuttle to the airport the morning of our flight with no issues. The airport is only about a 10 minute drive! When we returned from our trip, our flight got in at 11:30 pm, the last shuttle is scheduled to leave the airport back to the h... Read more

We have stayed in this hotel a number of times and always had good experiences. The staff has been helpful, they have a nice (included) breakfast buffet, and we were able to park our car and use the shuttle.

My flight was cancelled, and I needed a place to sleep for a short period of time. Nice room, great wifi for a hotel, and staff was friendly. It was just a slight annoyance to go down stairs to have to order and pick up my food.

Our room with two queen beds and a fold out sectional was larger than we expected. The hotel is quiet, the staff is friendly and the "snack bar" had SALADS & CUPCAKES rather than packaged junk food. The only negative was that they didn't have a working printer in the business center (it had run out of toner and they didn't have a refill). This isn't a deal breaker but definitely a pain as we now need to go to a copy center to print out a few things while we are in town.

The Hyatt Place in Herdon at Dulles Airport was wonderful. It was a very pleasant stay. The room was spacious and comfortable, featuring a refrigerator, which was greatly appreciated as the weather was very warm. The furniture and bedding was comfortable, the room was quiet, as was the staff. This was a very pleasant hotel experience and I will be back if in the area in future. Free parking -large lot, close to the airport, where I was working (as a contractor) for a couple of days.

We stayed for one night. Nice room with a good king size bed....very spacious. During the night I was awake for a bit and the wifi was not working correctly. In the morning, there was no hot water in the shower. When I told the person at the front desk, they gave me a manager's business card. I wrote an email. I left a phone message for a second manager. No response. Too bad, because I would consider staying there again on my next trip if they would have responded appropriately.

We had an amazing experience at this hotel. The hotel is few minutes away from Airport and a shuttle is at airport at 15/45 hour. We had rented a car and were there in 10 minutes. Finest check in and it's all about the extremely friendly staff. Rooms are big enough and breakfast is nice, less room if you come late. The best is parking is free and wifi also and its location is Buisness oriented. The pool was not working for morning hours, but evening was great. I would highly recommend for short ... Read more

As a returning guest I have always liked the quiet serene location f this hotel. It is close to the airport yet jet noises is very minimal. It is easy to get I and out and the shuttle to the airport makes it all easy to find yourself at the terminal. Although construction around the hotel is going on, I was there on a weekend and did not hear or see any activities. A light on one of the nightstand was out and the alarm clock was confusing to set. This Hyatt is nicer than the Hyatt House just down the highway. You cannot get a nicer room or better amenities any where in the area than this. The 24 hour food menu is surprisingly tasty.. But bring your own sodas-they're too expensive at the property and no vending machine available.

This is a typical Hyatt Place. The rooms are comfortable and large, the WiFi was good, the desk chair was properly adjustable (a pet peeve of mine when I can't work comfortably), and they have an airport shuttle. I would have given the hotel 5 stars but there's nothing within walking distance except the place where I was working. They do offer to shuttle you to locations within 3 miles of the hotel and there is large shopping center with several good restaurants in that range.

This hotel is good for staying. The staffs are very helpful and professional. The hotel is quiet and clean. The breakfast is ok and they have free wifi. Special thanks to Mr. Qaiser for your help. He allowed us to have a late check out when he knew that we are travelling and needed more time to arrive to Dulles airport. So we appreciated a lot his help. He is very professional, helpful and with a smile on his face at all time. Best regards, Imane Daher Egbert

We stayed for 9 nights and the staff was consistently helpful and upbeat, going out of their way to help. The facilities were very nice as you would expect from a Hyatt Place. Our only concern was the bed was a hard and was not as comfortable as some of the other hotels we frequent. The location will be spectacular once the metro station is complete.

Pretty good accommodations. Breakfast was generic and up to par with other hotels. Room were spacious and bed extremely comfortable. The only down of it was the pool, it was so full of clorox that as soon as we opened the door my eyes got red and they tear it up. We ended up leaving and not using the pool. Super friendly staff too. Location is great since is only a few minutes drive from major restaurants and chained fast food...

We stayed the night before our leave to Germany and the night after returning. The manager of this hotel agreed to keep our vehicle for our complete out-of-the-country vacation of 15 days free. This was a great savings and it was convenient as they had a shuttle to the airport. Provided a delicious free breakfast and was very pleasant. We will definitely stay at this hotel the next time we are in the area.

This location has the same, expected floor plan and decor of any other standard Hyatt Place. It's the same all the way down to the same bad lighting in the room, to the same level of quality when it comes to the coffee ( it's better in the room than it is at the free breakfast downstairs). Familiar with this brand, I knew what to expect and for the price, we couldn't pass it up. The pool was FREEZING! It was only open from 5-10pm on a Saturday due to their "winter" hours. This does not work well if you have small kids who want to swim! The room was spacious, but a little dirty/worn. When we checked in the front desk clerk was very short with us...not necessarily rude, but not pleasant either. It is a mediocre hotel at best.

You'll love this hotel if you enjoy staying at a Greyhound bus terminal. The breakfast area was filthy each morning and the food was of very poor quality. My daughter pulled a long hair out of her scrambled eggs! The guest room was mostly adequate but I did note that the top sheet on my bed had holes in it. I would recommend you stay elsewhere unless this is your last resort.

Overall, this is a budget motel disguised with a Hyatt name. We were only there overnight (thank goodness) and on the end of a vacation where other Hyatt properties were used and this was a serious disappointment. The room was shabby and the furniture was old and rundown.
