This hotel is located just a few minutes drive from the quaint downtown area of Warrenton. Located off the beaten path, but close to the interstate, it is a great place to stay. From the parking lot to the rooms it was clean and the staff was very friendly. I got there a little early and the desk clerk, Aminta, was very helpful and nice. She for me into my room, printed off maps of the surrounding area, had suggestions for lunch and dinner and made me feel welcome. She is an asset for thi... Read more

I stayed here on a week trip for work. The rooms were OK (though a bit dated), they had Flat Screen TV's with Direct TV and comfortable beds. The carpet was worn in places, especially in front of the bathroom, there were holes in places. The tile in my bathroom floor was badly cracked and would move when stepping on it. The Wifi was free and did work well. I really enjoyed the hot continental breakfast. There were a wide variety of choices to eat, eggs, cinnamon rolls, muffins, cereal, ju... Read more

Went to this place two weekends in a row. They book up fast! It's clean and efficient - it's right off the interstate. Parking SUCKS BALLS. We knew this going the 2nd time, but the 2nd time there was a "Just Married" couple and the bride's dad had a conniption fit at the desk. Parking really does suck balls. There is a Country Suites a bit farther down the road on the same side. You may want to try it. I haven't been to that particular one, but I've had good experiences with them in t... Read more

Front desk staff was extremely competent and helpful especially Aminta!! Had a little difficulty getting my Keurig replenished on a daily basis but definitely not a show stopper. I would stay there again.

We had a second floor suite. A bit noisy - we could hear people in rooms above. Hotel is clean, up to date and met our expectations. Plenty of parking - this place is tucked way back in behind a subdivision so you feel safely isolated. Breakfast buffet was top notch for this type affair. Two very nice ladies were helpful and attentive. Food was hot and fresh.

It was very quite and clean. Enjoyed the coffee that was avaliable 24/7. The staff are very professional and Curttious. The rooms are clean. I would stay there again. They do have a outdoor pool and weight room that are kept clean. There free breakfast is nice the have a really cool pancake maker.

We spent 1 night here. Checkin was slow due to 1 staff member available-6 in line to check in. Much cheaper to find a room online then any of their pricing on site (by almost $100!!) Clean, comfortable, just a little understaffed overall Front desk phone always busy, hard to find employee for help

With the area virtually sold-out, their management found me a room at a reasonable rate. Given unexpected schedule change, it was a godsend! The room, lobby and property were very clean. Staff were helpful; breakfast was fresh and tasty. And, their Exercise Room was both clean and well equipped for a small / mid-sized hotel. I'll be back!

This was a nice clean place to stay for a night.. Nothing spectacular, but it served its purpose. Sorry about the 'Not Sure' stuff below. I was here for a wedding so except to sleep I was hardly in the hotel.

We had a wedding in town back at the hotel we were having a after party get together at the cafeteria around 11 pm and the front desk employees complaint that we were making too much noise and sent us to our rooms. All adults in the room and no rooms around us. Very uncalled

Nice hotel, clean, price was okay. Was there for a wedding and a group of rooms was blocked. I happen to run into groups from 2 other weddings while I was there. Breakfast was good, a lot of choices. Free Wifi. Rooms had frig and microwave, and a nice charging station. Bathroom floor tile was loose and shower granite (probably fake) seam was covered in silicon and felt weird if you touched it. Not a lot of channels for sports. Would have ranked this hotel higher except for the night shift... Read more

A very nice hotel. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the complimentary breakfast is better than most. Please note: there is a review below that rather crudely describes their perception of the parking. Well the reality of the situation is that this is a very clean, almost new hotel nestled in a quiet business park amidst a new community of very nice homes. The well-lit parking lot features dozens of wide parking spaces within seconds walk through the beautifully landscaped property t... Read more

Stayed here while visiting a friend in Remington, VA. There are not many quality hotels nearby & I was extremely satisfied with this one. It was about 20 minutes from where she lived & the service was friendly & the rooms were up to date & spotless. The price was not terrible either. Would stay again.

Our AC was out at home when it was 105 degrees outside and I needed a place for myself, my son and our dog. This is the only reasonable local hotel accepting pets but the 800# told me it was $50/pet/night. I called the hotel directly and the girl at the front desk was very helpful when I called and told me it was only $35/pet/night. We arrived within about 20 minutes and the exterior lights on the property were all dark at 10:45pm! I'm glad we had the dog because it was terrifying! We went ins... Read more

Situated conveniently on the outskirts of town the Holiday Inn offers a very baseline hotel stay with a veritable rogues gallery of patrons. The breakfast area is often crowded enough to make you carry back to your room, the laundry service is still coin operated with the front desk often lacking change or options should the coin operated soap sales be out. All in all, if every single other hotel is booked up or you are tired at the exact moment you are passing by then go ahead and stay but this... Read more

Well first night we unpacked, then went into the bathroom. Not sure what happened but cleaning bottle on sink, water all over the vanity top 1/2 inch deep. Try to call front desk by tapping the button " front desk" nothing but busy signal. Went to front desk and changed rooms. Move everything to new room. Next day good. Next day after a long day came back at 8:30 and room was not cleaned, no clean towels. Try to call front desk again using the button " front desk" walked down to desk. Got t... Read more

We have stayed at many Holiday Inns and Express Hotels. This one seems nearly brand new and the rooms have good features, quiet AC, plenty of AC outlets. Great outside pool too! Breakfast room, lobby, and halls exceptionally clean. The general area seems safe and in a good neighborhood with shops and restaurants nearby.

My older daughter and I (and her two dogs) attended the 43rd Annual Virginia Scottish Games and Festival, a two day event at Great Meadow, The Plains, VA. For the past few years we have made a weekend of it, staying locally for two nights (the event is Saturday and Sunday of Labor Day Weekend), and returning home on Labor Day Monday. For the past two years we've stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Warrenton, a short (ten minute) drive from the event. They are dog-friendly, which is a prerequisi... Read more

Stayed from Thursday night till Saturday morning . We were attending a wedding in the area as were guests from another wedding. Our hostesses had left gift bags for her guests with explicit names & room numbers but the bags disappeared & some people who arrived later didn't get them. My biggest problem was the air conditioning system which probably because of the heat was working overtime but the room was ei... Read more

After a long day on the road, we were not disappointed with this Holiday Inn Express. After a rough start (the room we were given hadn't been cleaned & made up yet) we were given another room - this one clean and comfortable. Be sure to ask for a room in the front of the hotel - the ones on the back side face the Rt. 17 Bypass, and the trucks roll most of the night!

We were attending a wedding in nearby Sperryville, Virginia. Our room was quiet and clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The included breakfast was one of the most extensive I have seen in a hotel breakfast. The location is within 30 minutes of several quaint town, wineries and the Shenandoah National Park. This hotel is a good value.

This was a quiet hotel and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is out of the way so a sat-nav is very useful. You will need to drive to find food. We asked for a quiet room and the one we were given was very good.

Traveled to Warrenton for the Virginia High School League state cross country meet. There were multiple high school teams staying here and the hotel was completely booked. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. I only seen one person working the breakfast area but they kept the food stocked, tables cleaned, etc.. No issues or complaints with the hotel. There were numerous places to eat close to the hotel. Good area.
