Great location, clean room, friendly staff, reasonable prices. It was helpful that the parking, internet, and breakfast are free. The indoor pool and hot tub were great, especially because we had some rainy weather. Would definitely stay here again.

Could not access room, returned & received a new room, not much of a issue if my 8 month pregnant fiancée wasn't so tired of waiting, still our favorite place to stay of all at the boardwalk over the years :)

my husband and I stayed 3 nights for our 1 year wedding anniversary. We were very pleased with our stay and the rates. The room was clean, had plenty of room, comfortable bed (not the best pillows but nbd) there was a nice flat screen tv in both the living room area, and the bedroom. a great ocean view from our balcony. the kitchenette helped us save money by not having to eat out every meal, and we also took advantage of the continental breakfast. However the breakfast is minimal. I would defin... Read more

Rude night staff, rooms are worn. You can do better further down the strip. Parking is a pain where they have very limited spaces on the property. The beach access is great along with the free coffee etc to start your day

Pros are it looks exactly like pics online. The room setup was weird. You walked right into the master bedroom and had to walk thru a small hallway to get to the living room area. Kitchen area was cool had a small refrigerator so there was no room got left overs. Lastly the heating/cooling was off the air conditioner did not cut on in the bed room which made it extremely hot. Overall clean room, friendly staff, good amenities loved the heated pool and the gym, cable was great (cause we had movie... Read more

It was very nice, too expensive however. I liked the view especially morning sunrise. The pool and hot tub were nice, clean and relaxing. The service was pleasant. I like how even if you cant park in their lot, there's a garage right across the street so it's still very close.

From the front desk to the pool this place was awesome. The rooms were very comfortable, housekeeping was friendly and the location was excellent. Breakfast should include at least Pancakes or Waffles, but other than that everything was great

Probably will not stay there again? Room had a weird smell. Staff was friendly, but again the room smelled bad. The room was clean, however maybe someone cooked fish or left fish in the room for a period of time

The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean; the only thing was missing was the kitchen supplies (dishes, silver, etc.). We were asked to have a $25.00 deposit against any breakage or theft. I can understand why after seeing the missing supplies in the kitchen. The only thing, you start to question, why kind of hotel is this. Because I have been here several time, I was not offended. However, a "First Time" consumer may see this totally different.

When we first arrived for our girls weekend everything was amazing. The room appeared clean, while unpacking we noticed wet spots on several spots on the carpet. Ignoring this issue thinking maybe it was from them cleaning the floor we proceeded to the beach. Two hours later we rush to our room to get ready for a concert to be created by what smelled like a dead animal. The room smelled atrocious. We opened the balcony door but no matter what we did the room smelled awful. We ignored the issue o... Read more

Our room was a decent size for our family. Good room, decent bathroom, and a convenient and clean kitchenette. The staff seem really nice and helpful. The breakfast offered in the morning is not too bad and is very convenient for thoes looking to get up and go early in the morning.

Never came to clean our room till after 1pm and when the booking was made I asked if we could be near each other and when we arrived we were on separate floors. I was there for a wedding so there were plenty of other people with the wedding on my floor.

The hotel's Broadband is too narrow. Forget u-tube, Net Flix, Gaming, even some Facebook... Don't even waste your time.. the front desk knows about the problem. WFII is Slower than Molasses going up hill in December. Room is clean. Breakfast is a fantastic price !

Over all it's and ok hotel. The hotel does need some up keep compared to the hotels next door. Who ever did the remodeling in the rooms did a bad job. Looks like wall paper over wall paper. It was nice to have a stove, and microwave. The room has a fridge but it wold be nice to have one with a freezer. Overall it was a great deal. Total cost for 5 day was 1078 with an ocean front view and breakfast was included

Wasn't very pleased with this hotel. Needs much upgrading, the bathroom was extra small, and I was not greeted very nicely upon arrival. The woman who checked me in was on the phone when I arrived. She was laughing and having a good time. When she finished her call, her attitude immediately changed. She clearly didn't like her job. My husband and I wanted to sit outside and have a drink by the boardwalk. There was no place to do that in this hotel. That said, the location was good.

.Wedding reception venue beautiful. Sales and banquet amazing. Started interacting with Barclay from March when I started planning wedding. Nicole was awesome. Front desk staff was not personable, friendly and seemed to just do minimum. Eduardo made the whole experience incredible by making us feel like the most important people there on our day.

Would definitely come again! Loved everything from the receptionist to the room. I just wish that the pool had late night hours for the adult crowds bring that we can't swim in beach water at night :( but other than that everything was amazing! The room was nice and the breakfast as well. Only thing that bothered me was the security harassing me for coming to the room late at night! That was very annoying! But nonetheless it was a great hotel to stay at during vacation.

Great location! On the boardwalk but far enough away from the center to have (relative) peace and quiet. Beach access is great, parking was easy with a garage right across the street. Room was clean with a nice balcony. Loved it.

Very beautiful room so nice and big almost like an apartment Feel. Great view overlooking the beautiful beach however wish it was right on the boardwalk instead of having to walk. Also many things are further towards the middle of the boardwalk so it is quite a hike. Awesome room great staff cleanly pool area.

Housekeeping was terrible, had to set garbage and laundry outside the door just to get it taken care of, when calling and asking for these services which are usually provided employees where rude and told us if housekeeping didnt take the garbage or towels to set it outside the door and someone would eventually get it housekeeping never swept the floor, changed the sheets or garbage

This was our second stay at the Barclay Towers. I would stay again. It is very convenient. It is not a luxury hotel, but it has everything we needed and is more affordable considering it is oceanfront. We used the indoor pool and loved it, too! The beds were very comfortable. It is a clean place. The staff is nice. Although we did not get maid service on Sunday and the front desk could not help us with getting clean towels. I was suprised about that, since most front desks are able to assist wit... Read more

They did a renovation of this hotel last year I think, and it was noticeable. New furniture in the room. New kitchen appliances. Even the elevators seemed a little bit faster( just a little). The best improvement is the breakfast. Whereas in past years it was just donuts, cereal and hard-boiled eggs, they now have a full breakfast with scrambled eggs, hash-browns, sausage and ham all overseen by the nicest man at the property - Archie the breakfast room manager.

Excellent hotel in front of the ocean. In the south part of Va. Beach less congested with traffic and at the beach. All the units are the same. A large room with a king size bed. A large bathroom with plenty of towels. A well equipped kitchen. Dining room and living room with a sofa bed. And a great balcony to see people and the ocean

Really friendly and clean place. Staff is great and the room is comfortable with the exception of the sleep sofa. Not all the rooms have wine glasses or a wine or bottle opener. You have to borrow the opener from the front desk. Who wants to drink wine from a cup:(
