As soon as we walked into room it had this horrible smell, then to add to it we just came back from dinner and A/C in our room is not working. When called reception at 10:45pm they said keep it off fr an hour nd then try again or they'll try to send some fans if they have.. its been 30mins nd we still hv no fans or a/c.. It's 80deg outside and raining and humid n... Read more

First of all I have heard the good and bad of this place, but once we stayed here it was worth it. The place is under new ownership and management, they are working on updating and remodeling and cleaning the place up. We stayed here for a week and kids loved it. No major issues, staff was friendly and courteous. The front desk staff named April was polite and helpful. There are some things that needed fixed or could be fixed but with all the remodeling going on you can tell they are trying. Th... Read more

I made a reservation today through their website using rewards points and cash. I got a call a few hours later from a hostile man refusing to honor the rate I was given and insisting I would have to pay $74 more for the night because it was during the busy season. I point blank asked him if he was refusing to honor the rate that I booked at and he said yes. So, I cancelled it and took my business elsewhere.

Please dont waste a penny in this dump first we were we were charged $10 per child and we get to the room after a day at the beach only to find one wash cloth and one towel when we called and asked for extra to accommodate our family of 5 that we had to pay extra for.. they didnt want to give us any more towels or wash cloths after several calls and finally a trip to the office we were only given 2 towles and two washcloths.. leaving 2 people in my family without a washcloth or towel i finally h... The days of being a good deal is over. I've stayed here before and it was great but now it's the worst place in Virginia Beach. They must be renting to locals because it was trashy. The TV could only get one channel. I called to complain and they acted like they was going to get to it. Two days later it was never fixed. They just lie to you. They give you two towels, two wash cloths and a floor towel. Nothing for the kitchen. Cheap! The place is run down now. The worst part is walking out to my ... Read more

If you are willing to save some money in your stay and willing to walk one block to the beach this is the place that exceeded my expectations The living room is big enough to make you feel relaxed my son did not like the place at first because there was no swimming pool but at the end he was also happy that we stayed there

This place was surprising spacious for the price. Got a free upgrade when we went in to a suite with couch and chair and mini kitchen. Stayed two nights. Walking distance to beach. Free parking. Free internet. New flat screen tvs. Everything was clean, just well used.

Stayed here one night and my friends parents had made the reservation. The couch was damp and smelled terrible, the floor was not vacuumed and the AC did not work and they were unable to fix it. Wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone. I suppose one plus is that it's close to the beach if your budget does not allow for beachfront. Does not have a pool.

Please do not stay here!!!!!!!!!!! Since you first get there you feel so unsafe and the customer service was so bad. Just spend $30 more some place else. Was at this hotel for no more than 45 mins before I just left and they didn't want to give me a refund and they threated us.

I love that this hotel has two compartment with a kitchen. Both areas have a tv, so you won't have to worry about keeping other people up with the tv. The beds are very comfy. A spaciously sized refrigerator for your essentials and more, along with a stove, and microwave, you'll feel right at home. Knights Inn Complimentary breakfast and the lack of a pool are it's only downfalls.

Warning, hotel charges at 12am of the day of your arrival and has no problem with changing your room type from smoking to non smoking without warning. I'm assuming this is vise versa. The hotel is located only a block from the beach, and for the location the price is great. However the location was pretty much the only good part about the hotel. Upon arrival to the room the smell was so horrible that we had to go get odor neutralizer from Walmart before we could sleep. Hotel is very stingy wi... Read more

We drove from New York and tried getting a hotel on the beach in Virginia Beach. However they were all booked. So we drove a bit further and decided to get a room at the Knights Inn due to pure exhaustion at 2am. We should have guest from the bullet proof glass during check in, this was not going to be good. The walls leading to the room were cinder block. The rooms were old, musty and worn down. The carpets and furniture were stained. We actually just turned down the spread and laid down... Read more

This place is a pit. The room is musty smelling and is filthy. I will never stay here again or recommend it. I am at the Lynnhaven location because the soccer fields are close by. Big mistake should have read more reviews before booking.
