The Garden Inn is easily found and centrally located. Parking is in the public garage across road from hotel (levels 3 - 5), so drop of bags first before parking car! Friendly, efficient staff. Comfortable rooms, well-furnished and equipped but a somewhat aged style. The central location ensures a good choice of restaurants and bars within walking distance. My only criticism was the wifi, whilst free it seemed overloaded - a lot of drop-outs and need for reconnection. Highly recommended fo... Read more

Extremely nice hotel with a very friendly staff. Offered coupons and discounts for local restaurants. Ten minutes from the beach and 1/2 the price of a beach hotel. Extremely clean and up kept. Would for sure stay here again and again.

This was a great place for a weekend family gathering. We were impressed by the town city urban renewal, with hotel surrounded by a variety of dining options, places to enjoy the arts, a shopping center nearby, and safe area for walking. There's easy access for drive to Beach. The hotel offers only an overpriced full-brunch breakfast option, but Panera's is nearby. The address is on Town Center Drive, though entry is really off a short left turn on Main Street. Free Parking in Garage across th... Read more

This is my 2nd favorite location to stay at in the area. Fairly new property and lots to offer at the hotel as well in the surrounding areas. Catch a game in the lobby/dining area. Have dinner at McComicks & Schmidt or The Cheesecake Factory. Krispy Kreme and Duck Donuts are merely minutes away along the same strip, you cannot miss these sweet treats!

Very nice hotel in downtown VA Beach. Great location with shopping and dining within walking distance. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Free parking in garage across the street Even number rooms on lower levels might get some street noise since they face a busy road but didn't really notice it on the upper floors. I booked this hotel, based on traveler reviews. The hotel was nice, friendly staff. There was no in room safe, so I had to take my wallet to the concert (had hoped to leave it in the room). Furniture was mixed matched, didn't look as new as I had expected, but it was clean. Parking located across the street in a garage, level 3 or above. So there is an elevator down, cross the street, then elevator to room when coming back to hotel for the night.

Great hotel needs complimentary breakfast... Especially for the prices we pay. I felt $13 bucks was a little much for breakfast consider lowering the price. $13 is not expensive but after paying for our room plus breakfast I felt that was greedy. I also wasn't educated on the prices until after I ate. I finally saw the sign tucked in the corner consider at least moving it to the forefront and have the staff educate the customers.

Great customer service, and very clean room. Very very very soft pillows. I paid the $13 for the breakfast. This is my only complaint.... for $13 this should have been a 5 star tasting breakfast. As Hilton's go, this is not the best. While it has a great location if business takes you to Town Center (very convenient to restaurants and Pembroke Mall) and a decent pool/hot tub area we observed some things that could be improved. First, when we went to get into the hot tub, it was LOADED with white foam, I assume from the cleaning. No one had remained to remove the foam, nor did we see a skimmer. Stayed at this Hilton Garden over the weekend. As I have stayed at a number of Hilton Garden Inns recently, I would not rate this one near the top of the list. It is okay but nothing special. Seems just a bit dingy compared with most, a little shopworn. For instance, it was very difficult to pull the lever up on the shower. Little things like that. Just seemed to be showing a little age. Wonderful hotel with a remarkable staff. The meals were top quality which is unusual in a hotel. The environment was one of cheerfulness and efficiency from the moment we walked in the door. We highly recommend this hotel.

We had a good experience here. The place was clean, the staff was extremely accommodating including the restaurant and cleaning staff. The beds were comfortable. Good selection of restaurants nearby, though they are a little heavy on chain restaurants at the expense of locally owned joints. I'd come back again if I was in town.

You'll have to unload and move your car after. I was lucky enough to snatch up one of the 5 overnight slots. The parking lot is shared by businesses a... Read more
