We stayed here to celebrate my niece's birthday by going to the American Girl store at Tysons Corner Center. So naturally we booked the American Girl Package. The main points of the package are "an American Girl doll bed to take home; a personalized welcome letter; free breakfast for two children ages 12 and under (with paying adult); and a Tysons Corner Center rewards card." While we didn't receive a welcome letter OR the rewards card the doll bed was great and a similar one sells from Ame... Read more

This is a pretty, newer hotel right next to the fabulous Tysons Corner shopping area. It was convenient to the mall and to major roads. The front desk staff was not very friendly whenever we spoke to them. We had requested a room on the quieter side of the hotel, away from the roads, and were told that's where they put us. When we arrived in our room, it was late and we just fell into bed. When we woke up we saw that they had put us on the turnpike side and there was a fair amount of traffic noi... Read more

Clean very nice rooms, friendly staff, easy access to Tysons. For many people that's all that matters. However, if you are a frequent traveller and a Marriott Elite their Concierge Lounge is significantly lacking compared to other Marriott locations. As a Platinum Premiere I was surprised at what should be one of their better (close to home HQ) hotels provided for breakfast and even evening snacks. The breakfasts on multiple days, was very poor, actually in the bottom two of the Full Servic... Read more

Stayed here on business and absolutely no complaints. Clean, well serviced room and courteous staff too. This hotel would be a great stop-over if driving through Virginia/Washington DC and surroundings, or for a shopping trip to the two excellent malls that are within ten minutes walk. The attitude of the staff is fine and friendly and the room maid was a star who always bade me good morning with a smile and a friendly chat.

This hotel is convenient to the metro and to great Tysons Corner shopping. It is a 10-15 drive away from a Whole Foods Market and a running trail, if you are inclined to travel healthy. I arrived at this hotel close two 2 am, my flight from the west coast having been delayed. So I was starving, and everything was closed (including room service and the snack shop), but the receptionist let me pick out some items from the snack shop and comped me for them, which was a very nice gesture - especiall... Compared to the last time I came here, a much improved experience. The room's AC was working great, a quick cool down from 72 to 65. The front staff was very friendly and professional. The concierge breakfast was as expected but the room was large with plenty of seating. The gym was adequate with lots of machines and not crowded when I visited on a Friday morning.

Avoid this hotel! You can do much better for the price! They PURPOSELY disabled the HDMI ports on the back of the TV so you can't connect your iPad to the TV. Purposely!!! Plus, they put us in a room with noisy school grounds surrounding us. I've been loyal to Marriott for about 15 years and this hotel (combined with my bad TV experience at the Courtyard Charlottesville the night before) BROKE MY LOYALTY to Marriott.

This is my go-to home away from home and has been for nearly 20 years. We have been through many renovations which have indeed been improvements. The pool and fitness center is state of the art. I have stayed at this Marriott property numerous times over the past year. It always proves to be a superior property. The staff is awesome and attentive. The rooms are somewhat small, but accommodating to the number of people they are rated for. Higher floors seem to be the better to stay away from the events sponsored since many of the meeting rooms are on the 2nd floor. One of the nicest hotel in Tysons Corner, just some steps away from Tysons Corner mall with great restaurants and famous stores around. I really enjoy this hotel where the breakfast take place on the highest floor and you can see the beltway and the city of Vienna. The front desk is really polite and up to standard with the Marriot Brand. A Stay during the weekend is a must do since they are very booked during the weekdays.

As some other contributors have mentioned, I didn't quite feel that this Marriott met Marriott standards. The staff were friendly but there were a few minor things (slow draining shower, incomplete in-room coffee setup, etc.) that were annoying. Probably the most annoying thing, however, was the fact that there was no free WIFI available in the rooms . . . only in the lobby.
