Convenient location and affordable, but office/food area in separate bldg. from rooms, requiring a car ride. Dark carpet in room needs to be cleaned as dirt rubbed off on little ones knees.

We have 2 small children and have stayed at this Days Inn multiple times. In the summer, the pool is open and provides plenty of fun. When it is not open, there is ample parking area that my children could play in. The rooms are clean and the staff has always been friendly. Breakfast is delicious, also! The only downside is there is no food, except a gas station, nearby. There are places that deliver or you can drive back to the previous exit or forward on to the next exit for food. Overa... The general manager answered my phone calls and was so nice.We were one exit away and all hotels were booked full for a college graduation.Tired from driving being an older couple he gave us directions and we missed the exit. We called back and as pleasant as could be he guided us there. The check in was fantastic the room so clean and bright. Breakfast was hot and and extended by most hotels we have visited. If you are in the area I would really recommend this hotel. In the fall on our way back... Read more

This is an older, plain vanilla property. It looks a little bedraggled but is clean. Management was very responsive and relocated us when the non-smoking that we were assigned smelled of smoke. This is a good value for the price compared to other motels in the Staunton area. The breakfast, however, is designed to raise blood sugar and cholesterol levels. Nothing too healthy was available.

We stayed at this Days Inn on our weekend getaway. THE GOOD: The room very suitable and pet-friendly. We reserved a double. It was clean, odor free and overall pretty comfortable. Word to the wise, if you are over 6'2" get a king....lol - otherwise the double beds will work just fine. My wife found the shower to be quite "magical". The water was HOT and in abundance!! The free breakfast was tasty. THE BAD: Slow, spotty wifi. Overall a good value.

The staff is excellent, friendly, and takes time to welcome you. Rooms are very clean and so are the bathrooms. Wi-fi was a bit spotty at times, but never created a big problem. Our room had 2 beds, 2 chairs, desk top, refrigerator, microwave, plenty of towels and pillows. Complimentary breakfast offers eggs, biscuits and sausage gravy, waffles, bagels, yogurt, cereal and more. Outside is a pool, playground, picnic table, and sitting area. The room was very clean with a fridge and microwave, nice linens and very friendly staff. Excellent breakfast and wonderful hot coffee. A real value for the money. No bad smells. We booked our room through Expedia and discovered after not finding the motel, the directions were wrong. They told us to Exit at 220 and the correct exit is 217. We did however enjoy our motor trip through historic Staunton. A firefighter helped us find the motel. He recognized the picture and gave us directions to get to it.

After driving over 25 hours in 2 days and still 5 hours from home at midnight, had to pull off Hwy. 81 and get a room. Desk clerk wanted to give us a hard time about credit card for no particular reason that I could see. The room was musty smelling with mildew in the bathroom tiles. Days Inn is usually a good choice but not this time.

Nothing fancy but clean and comfortable. Entered room and was very hot but AC cooled down after awhile. Somewhat of a musty smell. Slept good. Breakfast seemed OK. We ate quickly and left since there were no available tables. I suggested to lady on duty that perhaps they needed more tables....there seems to be plenty of room. She said they have the amount Days Inn requires. For the price I guess hotel served its purpose.

Our room was clean and the beds were surprisingly comfortable. The kids enjoyed the pool after baseball games. My family enjoyed the continental breakfast. The only complaint I could give would be the shower. I had occasional spurts of super hot water and occasional spurts of super cold water, however, not everyone in our group experienced this.

We left later in the afternoon and the plan was to just drive until I got tired. It was getting late and my wife found this particular Days Inn on the Wyndham Rewards App. Very convenient to I-81 with an easy on and off. I was pleasantly surprised with the comfort and cleanliness of the room. The next morning we wanted to hit the road early and the conveniently have breakfast ready at 6am. We recommend this Days Inn and will probably stay there again in the near future.

I've been driving to travel with my parents in the US right now for a month so you might be able to imagine that we've stayed in quite some hotels so far. I have to say that this Days Inn provides the best value for money in my opinion, esp. if you are looking for a place that's easy, clean, friendly and with a low-to-medium budget. Comfy mattress, clean room. The wifi speed is not super fast but acceptable. The breakfast is simple but given the price I wouldn't complain.

I travel from Boston to FL twice or more times a year. Normally I stay off I-95 and travel the longer I-81 route. I always stay at this Day's Inn, for I am sold that they have the best interest of the traveler at heart. I get the same room, and have all my requests more than met.
