Stayed here a couple of nights in April as it was close to DCA and convenient to the highways. Room was clean and quiet. Asked for an upper floor room and got the 10th one night and 11th a couple of nights later. On our second night was given a coupon for a free breakfast buffet in the restaurant. About a 10 minute drive to DCA on a normal day but took about 30-40 minutes on the Monday morning that we left.

The location is very good, right across the street from the mall and right off the highway. Service was good, although no recognition or benefits for Hilton Diamond status except breakfast coupons. Breakfast was in the restaurant and is a full buffet with eggs, bacon, sausage, as well as cold items. Room is nice, but very narrow. Everything was clean and comfortable. I was able to get a late checkout with Diamond status(2pm). Wifi was extremely slow.

We stayed here on our way to the autotrain. It's a 10 minute ride to the station in Lorton, VA. The room was exceptionally nice, although we had no view and the breakfast buffet was exceptional. They were understaffed for some reason but we got apologies which made us feel good.

The hotel was clean and roomy enough. The hotel location is great in that it's centrally located near the Springfield interchange w quick access to the beltway and 95. Couldn't ask for a more convenient location really. 10 minutes to the subway via foot. My complaint is with hotel bar and staff. Not accommodating, slightly brusque, and closes too early given we were ther for a special event

This is definitely not the standard Hilton quality! The hotels is well located if you need to be in the area but the surroundings have nothing special about them. You have a mall in on the other side of the street and is next to the interstate. The rooms are Ok but feel old. Bathroom is small, wifi is not good. Lobby is small. The restaurant is the worse. This Hilton can be complicated to get to, placed as it is among the concrete spaghetti of I-95, I-495 and I-395 just south of DC and west of Alexandria. It's across the street from a humongous mall and its attendant strip plazas. Our room (booked as a Hilton Honors member) was showing its age: rust around the screws holding the grab bar in the tub, a dark stain on the caulk of the tub, chips and cracks in the dark wood of the bathroom vanity, screw holes in the bathroom wall where something had ... The entire hotel is in need of an update. The shower wouldn't drain, which seems to be a common problem, and everything just seems old. From the enormous metal luggage carts, to the 1960's exterior facade, it's all just out of date. I would have given the hotel alone 2 stars, if not for the breakfast served at Houlihans and friendly staff. Hilton needs to consider a refresh on this property.

I would have rated this experience much differently if I felt like anyone in housekeeping even tried to help me retrieve the personal items I inadvertently left in my hotel room. I checked in Tuesday Oct 11 and out Friday Oct 14. On Friday, I realized about 1.5 hours after I had left / gone through airport security that I left two silver bracelets hanging on the towel rack. I called immediately and was informed house keeping staff didn't come in until 9. I was told to expect a call back. I c... Read more

We stayed here from out of town for a wedding. Staff was great. Room very clean. Wished there was a bigger trash can; there were only 2 small trash cans, so it looked liked we had a lot of trash. Other than that it was great!

The hotel does not meet the brand value. I am always staying at Hilton because I like the brand. This hotel does not provide the value for the price. Run down hotel, lobby was too clouded. Bathroom was clogged and I have to call the front desk twice to send the repairmen back to fix the problem he thought he already fix. To make the matter worst, there was a fight on my floor at 2:00 AM.

So this is my stop off before I head off to Washington DC. After almost 22 hours travelling king-size bed was a welcome sight. Plenty of pictures of the room and the view I suppose if you came with the price not the hotel rate but outside my door was the ice machine and vending machine which I only heard really this morning. The bedroom is rather big for one person very decent bathroom and with all Hiltons the bed is always comfortable. It does help where the hotel is situated there is a massiv... Read more

I was happy with my stay for the most part...i could overlook the older accommodations, the near archaic television / remote, the inoperable treadmill tv channels, etc. because of the amazing customer service from the night desk clerk who helped me add my hilton honors number to my stay and even had water sent to my room because I said I had a headache. I had the traumatic experience of forgetting something behind though. Sentimental sterling silver bracelets...once i got through airport securi... Read more

This property is convenient to major highways and close to DC. Front desk staff was friendly and efficient. The room I had was pretty used up, bathroom particularly. I did use the on site restaurant and it wasn't very enjoyable. The server seemed like he hadn't a clue, had bad timing. Then the manager came over and acted like they were closing up and we had to leave. Super strange.

Clean rooms with great staff. Convenient stop on our family road trip. My husband is in a wheelchair and it's very handicapped accessible. The roll in shower drained well and didn't leave water standing in the bathroom
