The hotel was ok, very pricy for a hotel that does not offer a free breakfast to travelers. For being near an airport I expected that and will stay at a different hotel next time I fly out of Richmond.

Last minute trip but was able to get a room easily. The front desk associate was super friendly, the bar manager was so awesome as well. He had regular travellers there and he made each one of them feel special. Room was comfy as expected from hilton.

Clean and pretty standard for HGI. Limited Diamond benefits but breakfast was good compared to other HGI's (especially the French toast). Requested an upgrade and the front desk said they would check for one. Room ended up being standard room I booked so no upgrade (but there was availability for larger rooms online at time of check in). Latest check out available was 1pm.

I have stayed at this property twice in 2016. On both occasions there were issues with noise; I won't be back again. On my most recent stay I checked in online the day before (a "perk" for HHonors members). I travel quite a bit and I work in Hospitality, so I am fairly observant of what a hotel does well and what it could improve upon, but this hotel was perfect. The staff members were kind and polite. Each one was helpful and smiling every time I asked a question. The rooms were clean and well laid out. It was a wonderful experience.

Okay, trite, but "in this day and age" there is no excuse why an HGI should not have lamps with USB ports in the rooms so that guests can charge their phones, tablets, etc. I know, my bad for not packing a wall charger, but I so much appreciate this feature at other properties I've stayed at. As I stayed at this hotel last week on a business trip for my first time in Richmond, I was very please with the overall service offered by the personnel of this hotel. everyone was professional, friendly and courteous. very helpful people which made my stay absolutely pleasant. The hotel is like in the airport backyard which made it easy coming in and leaving after all.

Front lobby area with beverages was almost always disheveled. Bar area too. Breakfast was disorganized. Food was good though. Pool was nice feature but there was an ant issue in there. There were multiple ants on me when I got up to my room. Mattress felt lumpy but we slept ok. Room was a comfortable size.

Only second visit but staff already knew me by name. Excel in service delivery and meeting customers needs. Breakfast was good but dinner was excellent. Not what I expected for hotel food. Vegetables in my pasta were cooked to perfection.

I loved the convenient location, the very helpful and caring staff (especially Paula!)...they were truly personable, and seemed to really care and want every single detail to be perfect and comfortable for us. Loved the microwave, fridge, and coffee maker, too! Super comfy bed!

Excellent staff. Greeted with a smile. Efficient staff. Very willing to help and kept a smile on their faces. I wasn't too happy with the ultra sticky floors in their elevators and bathroom. The bed was the big surprise for me. I did not expect a memory foam to be so incredibly restful--Boy was I wrong! I laid down for the night and swear I woke up in the same position. Rested and not sore!

We will definitely stay there again. HGI never let's us down. Huge pretty lobby; receptionist was very nice; quick and easy check in; halls were bright and clean; room was exceptional and spacious; lots of outlets for our 4 phones; email checkout; I don't think breakfast was included, although coffee station was available; we did have breakfast in restaurant and it was very good.

I've stayed at this hotel multiple times and haven't been disappointed yet. Conveniently located close to the airport and Interstate 64, also large shopping center with Target, Martins grocery store, Cracker Barrel and many many other restaurants within 5 minute drive. Facility -OK; however, dinning experience a "disaster". Will not compromise eating at hotel/motel restaurant(if any) as the food is generally not prepared by professionals. When this situation occurs the facility recognizing the inadequacies of the food that had been prepared should have just written the meal "OFF". It was not consumed at all; furthermore, a second item was prepared(different from first) was in all measure more extreme that first - as "NOT EATABLE"

Very clean and comfortable hotel near the RIC airport. Staff very pleasant. My housekeeper Lisa was very friendly and attentive over my 3 week stay. Bang at the front desk greeted me every evening, and accommodated a few special requests. The common areas of the building were a bit too cold.

I came down to visit friends and once again enjoyed a wonderful stay at this HGI. The rooms are extremely clean and the staff is extremely customer service oriented. There is always free coffee and the restaurant service is quick and the food good. They really do go the extra mile to make you feel welcome. I always stay at HGI's when I can and they never disappoint.

My family and I stayed here after not being able to get into the HGI downtown. I was skeptical but pleasantly pleased with the cleanliness and service at the hotel. Our housekeeper Lisa was very nice and even tucked my 1 year old's baby doll into a blanket in her crib when she cleaned the room. The front desk staff was friendly and accommodating and the small pool and hot tub were never crowded. My major complaint is the restaurant. DO NOT EAT THERE!!! Good location, nice staff, nice appearance. Our stay was good no real complaints. It was walking distance to WAWA, so if you wanted drinks and snacks that was a plus. Safe environment, other hotels were right next to each other. Quiet inside and outside. The dinner we had was not bad but not great either. We both had the 1/2 chicken dinner, potstickers, and a side of mac n' cheese. Chicken was on the dry side, app was a joke, mac was very greasy.

Needed to stay at this hotel for lacrosse tournament in area. Great lobby and receiving area --- saw many people enjoying this lounge area all day long. Makes for nice gathering area. I had never been to Richmond by plane before. I had to schedule a quick trip and needed a place to stay the night. This was a great choice. I decided to make a change and stay at this hotel rather than the other I usually select in this area. Check in was great and the staff was excellent. I personally find I cannot go wrong with this hotel. It's extremely convenient to RIC, has an on site restaurant which, along with the front desk, has been staffed with some of the same people I have been seeing for a couple of years, is always clean and the staff in general are always accommodating. We had just gotten married and chose this Hilton to spend our wedding night. We were greeted kindly and the gentlemen was very helpful. we were treated with respect and comfortable surroundings the night we were there. It was close to the airport and very clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I stayed here last year and had a very nice stay. So when the opportunity presented itself again this year I made my reservation without hesitation. Very friendly staff, room was clean and my bed was comfortable. I also liked that it was not a huge hotel, I believe it only has 4-5 floors. Very close to the Richmond airport, less than 10 minuets. As a side note there is a WaWa gas station on the corner.

This hotel has the most amazing staff. It started with Yumi, who was very helpful when I booked the meeting room for the week. She was quick to reply and answered all of my questions. Staffing members were attentive to guest, rooms very clean. In all a great experience. Meals were a bit on the high side, but very good. The pool area was clean as well as fitness area. Would recommend this hotel.

I have been traveling for over a decade, and I can honestly say that this was the WORST mattress that I have ever slept on in my entire career. My back and neck are hurting due to the very uncomfortable sagging mattress. Everything else is fine at this property. Clean room, bathroom, and bed sheets.

I love this hotel but it was a bit older than what was expected. Didn't have the technology such as usb chargers or iPod/radio on nightstand. But it was clean and spacious (end room). This had to be one of the worst mattresses I've every had, especially at an HGI. The room was not particularly, either. I guess that's what you get at the airport properties. Next time, back to the downtown hotels.

Bedding was very uncomfortable! Rooms had "old hotel"odor. Paper products were "below standard." No regular coffee packs in the room- only decaf. Breakfast bar was not offering quality items. Even the "fresh fruit" did not look fresh. I just stayed at a Courtyard Marriott in Boston- great bedding and no "odor".

As much as I travel, I have come to realize that the hotel staff can make or break a trip. The HGI in Richmond at the airport has one of the best staffs in my travels. The hotel restaurant has good food, reasonably priced, and is served by a wonderful young bartender, Jessica. I was here on Saturday and told her my wife was sick. When I walked in today, her first question was " How's your wife feeling?" Just awesome!!!!! Whenever I'm in Richmond, I'm staying here.­???­???

My daughter and I stayed one night. The room was fine and the towels were very soft. The breakfast was awesome. The lobby is pretty. I like the fact that there is a bar on the premises; however, I didn't use it this trip.

for the price you would think the beds were in good shape, not. The beds are old and harder than cement, had body impressions in the center. I did move into another room (at 1230am) this room had two queen beds and both were just as hard. I was told they were sleep number beds and they did not work needless to say sleep and I did not find each other that night . I checked out early from the hotel and into another, That night I slept.

We were very pleased. We requested lower room floor since my wife is visually handicapped. We got a bonus to be placed next to indoor pool. Our grand-kids stayed with us and were able to swim without having to travel far at all.

Good Hilton brand just outside of downtown Richmond that offers excellent logistics between I95 & I295. With more business in the Richmond area will make this a destination stop in the future. Staff is friendly and accomodating.
