Came to Richmond for daughters Bball tourney with her team. Price, cleanliness and quality above what I expected. Great evening reception. In fact, evening reception was better than breakfast. Not sure what cooks have been told re omelet a but mine was devoid of eggs and tasteless. Kids had a great time and sales staff were very pleasant to work with for the group reservation.

The main reason for this trip was to provide my grandson with an indoor pool and to have a nice breakfast. Since embassy suites had covered those two necessities, they were a good fit. Needless to say my trip was a success.

We stayed at this hotel on a return trip from Florida, traveling from I-95 N. It was relatively convenient to the highway, with a minor detour on a couple of local highway routes. The lobby and common areas were very beautiful. The happy hour was good, but it was definitely just snack food, not as many filling options as the other Embassy locations we've stayed at. The room was nice, but a little more dated than other locations we have stayed at as well. In their defense we have stayed at locati... Read more

Friendly staff. Nice and well maintained facilities. Bathroom was small, but suite had 3 "wet" areas. Very quick responses to our requests for extra items such as towels and pillows. Breakfast buffet not as extensive as other Embassy Suites, but still okay. I really wanted grits, but all they had was oatmeal. Good gym facilities and pool area.

The hotel is nice, clean, with a beautiful atrium. It has very pleasant and helpful staff who treated me very well, rom check in, to room service, to cleaning team and checkout. All were great. SUper evening reception with great adult drinks and a staff that actually likes to serve you. Breakfast was very well done with the same type of staff help. I had the opportunity to stay here for nearly two weeks while attending training. In doing so, I got to experience the full spectrum of what the property has to offer. I cannot give you a detailed review of this hotel due to the fact when I arrived after driving 10 hours I found out that the hotel had had no electricity for over 24 hours. Had a nice stay here the night before my husband did a mud race near King's Dominion. The room was clean and a good size, evening snack was a hit with the kids, and the staff accommodated our needing to eat breakfast at different times so hubs could leave early for his run. Great deal! Best place to stay for full course breakfast and evening reception for big families otherwise you pay too much for a family of 5 or more by purchasing breakfast and snacks outside of hotel. Btw the breakfast was excellent! There was a variety of foods to chose from. Hotel could use updating such as the bathrooms which were a bit small. Very spacious as far as sleeping with the two full size beds and the pull out sofa bed. It's still a good value!

it was satisfactory for our needs (last minute trip, needed a suite style hotel), but the hotel is in serious need of refurbishing. Everything is just run down. Elevators run quite slow. Everyone who has stayed in an Embassy Suites knows that the open courtyard area can be quite loud. We had a room directly off of the courtyard on the second floor, but were pleasantly surprised to find the noise level was minimal once inside our room. The evening manager's reception with an open bar, the morning full breakfast with made to order omelet bar, the natural light and the hundreds of live plants in the courtyard style interior make this chain a favorite for my family. Staff friendly, rooms clean and quiet. Good quality for the slightly higher price.

I did have issues with my stay, therefore I would probably think twice before staying here again. The time of the day the issues came about were not convenient to call the Front Desk. The location was excellent, the Front Lobby and Atrium area were both welcoming.

We're often in on business for a week or 2 at a time. The embassy suites, and specifically our friend Bobby at check-in, always makes us feel welcome. Spacious rooms, happy hour. Spend your mornings or weekends at the heated indoor pool and sauna!

Every person working in this hotel was clearly interested in making the stay perfect. I didn't make any difficult requests, but every request was met with a perfect response. Breakfast here is a real treat. Nice atrium ambiance. You might think Embassy is pricey but often on weekends the price is less and savvy travelers can use an upscale stay as a bonus on the way. Even if the rate is double the lowest price room, the value is more than double and the stay will be memorable.

Staff are very accommodating and anxious to help. Excellent for business travel for convenience of amenities provided. Not a good location for walking purposes so if flying to destination, these amenities were very helpful.

Hotel was clean and the breakfast was pretty good. My complaint was when I checked in they said I reserved the room for 1 adult but it was supposed to be 2. They told me the price would go up $70.00 to add a person. I think that's crazy. My next complaint was house keeping knocking then walking into my room at 0830 so they could clean it. Check out time is 12 so why are you banging on my door at 0800. I stay at embassy hotels a lot but I will avoid this one next time.

From the excellent breakfast (including a scrumptious omelet) in the morning to the complimentary cocktails (served by a great bartender who is friendly and knowledgeable) at night, this hotel pleases. We had a bit of trouble with our air conditioner. Fixed immediately. We were skipped by housekeeping. Fixed immediately. Despite the 90s-hospital paint in the lobby, the place is beautiful and well-maintained. I would choose this for business stays in the future with no hesitation.

We spent 5 days at the Henrico Embassy Suites. Great customer service from Bobby at the front desk and Jackie our room attendant. Happy hour kept us happy. Breakfast was first rate. We would definitely stay here again.

This is an Embassy Suites - you're going to get the Embassy Suites experience - nice airy atrium, glass elevators, big rooms. You also get doors that open to little balconies - great to let in fresh air. Wonderful southern hospitality. The breakfasts were (as always delicious) but made even more so with the incredibly sweet breakfast staff. Yvonne if you're reading this - you're a fantastic - always a smile on your face, so personable and kind interacting with everyone. You're the type of p... Read more

Room was very clean, but showing signs of wear. Updates would help. Overall very good stay. A little noisey mostly due to very inconsiderate guests with kids. Restaurant meals very good. Reception and breakfast more than adequate. Would reccommend!

No heat, wifi and terrible breakfast. Staff was ok. Rooms are very dated and old! Does not fit the Hilton standards. Location was ok. If you can look else where. On the last day the duty Manager did try and assist but it was too late.

This was a great place to stay away while on a business trip. The room was clean and very comfortable. The food was great at every meal as there was always a variety and tasted fantastic. The Internet access was fair. I used the complimentary as I was not able to access the premium even after setting up a login and password. I would highly recommend this to anyone traveling for business and being away from home for several days.

The hotel staff exemplifies excellence! The customer service was impeccable! The rooms are very spacious and beds are comfortable. Just enough pillows as well. The complimentary breakfast is the best! I will definitely be coming back!

Great Hotel, very clean. Nice experience. The staff cleanliness and overall presentation of this hotel is great, especially for the value they provide. Their evening receptions were a great time to chat with people from the same conference as me.

No complains. Room was neat and complimentary breakfast was great. I affirm this is definitely one of the best Embassy Suites around. When you reserve you get a clear impression of the characteristics of the room, including the view. The rooms are all well appointed. Great pads.
