Exellent hotel, front desk is always smiling with a great attitude. The hotel is located at a very nice area with a lot of options for shopping, restaurants, metro station to D.C. The Manager of this hotel Adam, has been so accommodating to us and overall with a great attitude. Most Managers of my experience staying at hotels are hardly ever at the desk greeting my family and other guests daily. The room was in great shape, everything in working order, and housekeeping does a great job in cleani... Read more

Check in took 10 minutes altho there was no one ahead of me. The room with a kitchenette had no plates, silver, etc. The lights weren't plugged in. While Internet is free, to get the "better" internet it was extra. The bed cove had a cigarette burn in it. It just felt yucky. The people at the front desk were really nice, no fault with them, but the mgmt needs to clean up their act.

The room is clean and satisfactory. The outside areas around the rooms leaves a lot to be desired (e.g., trash discarded on the walks through the passageways, etc.), but I suspect it's because they don't have the staff to maintain it. It appears that this is a small-business franchise (possibly family owned?) and the front staff are very friendly and professional. For the price, I thought it was a great value.

Went here quite some time back but had an extremely pleasant stay. The staff is so courteous and helpful. The view is excellent. Easy access to restaurant right outside. Target store is nearby . not very far from the bus station for those who like to use public transport. All u need is like within 2 miles. The places gets covered in snow and it's all pretty pretty. The housekeeping is nice too. Cant ask for more at this price.

When I first got to the area, there were some issues with my room. The manager of the hotel did not hesitate to move me to another room that was nicer than the original. Any time I had a question or issue, the staff made sure to address my concerns. Special kudos go out to Kiki and Gordon for the amazing impression they made. This is not a 4-Star resort, but it is comfortable for the price.

We had stayed at this location when it was under different ownership, and it was okay. I had hoped the facility would be the same, or possibly improved. The room was clean and serviceable, as was the bathroom. However, the room was located in a corner and felt very cave-like, as the only window faced a wall. There was a full-size refrigerator and a 2-burner stove top, as well as a microwave, but there was no coffee maker and not the first plate, cup or utensil. There were not even any plastic cu... I know I wasn't expecting much but mold in the shower curtain, hair on the sheets, and the girl at the check out desk was not very smart. I knew more about here billing and computer system than she did. The gentleman who checked me in was very kind and helpful (I think it was Ronald?), but the rest of the stay was frustrating. The AC was barely working and I barely slept.

No frills in this place. Room was small, old and had a distinct odor. Staff was friendly, but really didn't do anything. No maid service in your room. Location good for George Mason. "Breakfast" was a few pieces of fruit, granola bars and coffee! Would not stay again.

I checked in on Sunday, April 24, 2016. My company booked me at this hotel for 3 months while here working on a contract assignment. This location was picked because it appeared to be rated well, in a good area and convenient to the location. There has been one issue after another. My first room that I was in, I felt it was poorly cleaned. My second room I requested a move because of the construction that was going on behind the hotel and with me working nights was a problem with me trying to go... Read more

The room was clean and renovated, had a fridge, microwave, sink, and cutlery/basics available. Some disappointments: 1) Internet access was unreliable and relatively slow. 2) They give two measly pillows that are quite uncomfortable and the blankets are the of the same caliber as the pillows; thin and unwarming. 3) Only two towels in the room (you can ask for more, of course, but its the principle of the matter). 4) The reception/front desk take quite some time to answer the phone, and when they... OK, So Extended Stay America has been my home away from home for a week now and I have mixed feelings about it. I'm in town for business and my employer suggested this hotel and booked it for me. First impression, my non-smoking room smells horrible. I almost went back to the front desk to tell them they put me in a smoking room but I think the smoke from all the outside smokers drifts back in or they actually don't care about smoking in the room because someone obviously smoked in here. When I ... Read more

Exterior building and grounds are well manicured. There were several exterior lights not functioning on the walkways from rooms to parking area. Interior of rooms left much to be desired. Our room had lamps that were not plugged in because there was no on/off switches. Our room accommodations were not what we requested. There was inadequate amount of linens. Extra charge for housekeeping services. Had to make a special request for a coffee pot in the kitchen. Pots, pans and dishes for kit... Read more

I stayed in that hotel since it's near airport and fairfax. Pics also seemed to show a fairly new hotel. However, it's nothing but a dumb hole. I've allergies and in middle of the night my throat got so itchy from ether polluted room or smoke, which isn't per hotel statement. I did the reservation for four days that cannot be returned if I checked out earlier. add $20 more and you would stay in a real nicer one.

We stayed at the one in Fairoaks, Va and from the second we opened the door we were very disappointed. We had to stay as there was no availability around the area for that night. The room smells bad, the BED is so so bad, the cover is very dirty, none of the appliances work, we called front desk and the guy who barely speaks English said the engineers are gone for the day and he can't help. The fridge leaks. We will NEVER stay there!!!

I booked this hotel for a new employee traveling up to our offices - she called me that night and said the room was not clean and she didn't feel safe. Because I booked thru a 3rd party, they wouldn't reimburse me. For an extended stay in reston, va, I was really disapointed to see the picture. The bathroom was actually clean but the bed, phone, kitchen area were not clean.

After reading the previous reviews of this hotel I was not looking forward to the stay where my company made my reservation. Albeit for one night. I was actually pleasantly surprised! The front desk folks were extremely personable and helpful upon check-in and check out The cleanliness and condition of the room was immaculate! Very little noise and an excellent stay! Nothing "negative" to say for this one night stay!

First of all I travel extensively with my husband for business. We stay in all sorts of hotels. Some high end and some economy. In 20 years I have not been so disappointed in a hotel accommodation. First of all the lobby was filthy and so was the breakfast room. Dirty floors and counter tops. I spotted, again, days old coffee stains in the lobby the morning we thankfully checked out. The grounds are nothing but an ashtray. Everywhere. Huge sticky stains on the concrete walkways and over... Read more

Relative to the price of hotels in this Reston area this is on the affordable end. However, at the current room rate we should be getting a lot more. Pros: I like the location next to the YMCA and the free pass you can get from the Front desk. Location is convenient to my work in Reston. The bed (mattress) is firm and nice. Con: No house keeping until after day 7 ! You get 1 plastic cup, no coffee/tea or coffee maker, or any cups or utensils. The linens don't look too new or crisp. The roo... Read more

Needed a room for one night near Reston Town Center, while attending an event in RTC, but did not want to pay $250. This room was less than $100, and there were no problems with any aspect of the stay. Clean, spacious, quiet.

If you're budget sensitive, this place will be the best place. The price is cheap compared to the other facilities around, and the facility is maintained at a par level. There are restaurant options near by with a large Target store right in front of it. Though, the location is not that close to either Dulles airport, Tyson's corner, or Washington D.C.. If these are the main attractions that you are interested in, anticipate 30+ minutes of travel time by car.

The place needs an upgrade. The layout of the bathroom is less to me desired. Careful standing up off the toilet you'll crack your head on the towel shelf. Room smells. 20 minutes in bed and the first bed bug appeared. Killed 6 and packed my bags and left. DISGUSTING.

Such a lovely place to stay. Staff were so cheerful . Rooms were clean. Close to the Ice Arena for my child's ice skating competition. I would definitely stay there again. Parking was easy. Access to major roads was great. Not a hitch at all.
