Only good feature of this Hotel is that it is Ocean Front - Parking is crammed, and there were 4 or 5 men who looked/dressed like derelicts hanging out next to the laundry room which was off the parking lot, and they were making remarks and noises and whistles, etc. The way to the front door from the back lot was obscure and the only help I received locating it was from the two laundry attendants who were very nice and directed me. There were no signs that I saw. The outdoor pool is surrounded... Read more

Stayed here for 3 nights. The room was comfortable enough. Linens were clean and dry (some oceanfront properties I have found to have damp linens due to the humidity). Amazing view of the ocean with a good sized balcony to sit on. Room was spacious with ample separation of the bedroom and living room. Housekeeping and grounds men were all friendly. The only complaint I had was the sofa was very uncomfortable to sit on, it was pretty much falling apart.

My bestie since !st grade and I stayed for 5 nites. We had a comfortable stay. Yes the bathroom was crowded but we managed. We took our own coffee pot and that made a difference for us. You could not stay anywhere beachfront cheaper, service was good.

Great beach view, great location, good service. Stayed for 4 nights & didn't get room service for 2 days. Got a room by the ice machine and the walls are very thin, so we were often awakened by people getting ice.

Beautiful ocean view, with balcony and separate bedroom. Bathroom is kinda small but no big deal. The shower water pressure wasn't great was the only downside. Centrally located near shops and restaurants. Clean.

Stayed at this hotel because is was a beachfront room & accommodated 6 people. We stayed 2 nights but had to switch rooms. Both rooms were a little dated. First room 413 had a mini fridge, very dated microwave & a stove top. This room had hair in the shower from the previous guests & the balcony rail was loose. The second room 605 had a mini fridge, microwave, stove & oven. The room seemed cleaner until we found dirty socks on the floor of the bedroom. Both rooms had a great view of the beach. ... Read more

This hotel is actually pretty good. The staff are helpful and friendly. Breakfast is nothing fancy but always kept stocked. The rooms are very spacious even with 3 adults and two children in the same room. I will definitely be going back to this hotel on my next trip to VA Beach

When we first got there the door was messed up. The maintenance guy came to fix it in a timely manner. Other than that there were a few minor rips in the carpet but that was no big deal. The room was quite spacious and had an amazing view of the beach. Also the beds were made neatly only thing is they never gave us clean sheets or towels... For the most part it was a good stay and we always had a parking spot no matter what time we got to the room. I would definitely stay here again for the pri... Read more

The overall stay was not that bad but stayed an extra day and the circuit went out in the kitchen. So the lights didn't work, nor did the refrigerator that we had drinks and food in. Reported it to the desk and they did nothing about bc they said there was no one there that could fix it. Did not offer us another room or anything to fix the problem. Not too happy about that at all! Complimentary breakfast is just cereal & Danishes.

This hotel was disgusting. I asked the front desk at check in to have someone clean the room again twice and was basically told "it's not their problem" as there was no housekeeper on staff. Finally after calling twice they sent the front desk girl up to clean the floors and countertops. The toilet was oval and the seat was round and you had to watch how you sat because it pinched your legs. The pictures of this hotel posted online are NOT this hotel. It smelled musty and only had 1 small e... Read more

Things to improve - Bathroom is VERY small. Rooms are in need of basic maintenance. Some electrical outlets did not work. Door lock/handle assembly was loose. Door to balcony did not close tightly. Doors to stairwells slammed shut. Good things - The room was clean. The view of the boardwalk, beach and ocean was great. The night staff did a GREAT job addressing the rowdy next door neighbors. If you're looking to have a place to sleep and enjoy a great view, it serves the purpose.

This is not the greatest place at the beach by a long shot but each room has a living room with a kitchenette and bedroom with two double beds. Bring your own pots and pans if you plan to use the stove. Microwave in each room as well. Excellent location in hart of beach area. All rooms are oceanfront and despite other reviews say regarding parking if you get a parking spot at the hotel (auxiliary parking across the street) you can keep the beach umbrellas and boogie boards in the trunk rather th... The location is good as it is right on the boardwalk. The rooms have no frills. We stayed for 2 nights. After the first night, no one made the beds, housekeeping came and dropped towels and left while my mum was in the room. The AC is from centuries ago which makes a terrible sound while it is on. Not worth the money you especially in the summer. The ONLY plus point was the fact that it was right on the boardwalk. Breakfast is provided but there is no place to eat. We booked 2 nights because we were in a wedding that was on the beach. We drove 12 hours and I wasn't feeling well when we checked in, so I did not notice how absolutely FILTHY our room was. The 2nd day I woke up to take a shower in a dirty bath-tub that was plugged up...dirt in the corners of the bathroom wall. I was pretty happy with this place for the price. It is outdated but... very clean and that is important to me. I liked that all the rooms faced the ocean. The bed was very comfortable!! At check in I was given a room that had a huge tool box, tools and extension cords in it (maintenance). I was then given a different room. Bathtub was not clean and had a hole drilled in it for some reason. Trash cans had sticky dirt under the bags and an odor. Trash under sofa. Had to check out a day early and could not be refunded. Overlooking all this, my stay wasn't bad. Great location and reasonable price.

The suite was fairly well laid out and had a beautiful view but the hotel is quite rundown and we had several things in our suite that didn't work, including the safe! That being said, the price we paid was a bargain and the location was wonderful, and we did have shelter and a decent bed.

I stayed at Travelodge Virginia Beach on a quiet Sunday night in October. There wasn't much going on in town, but the hotel front desk clerk recommended a good restaurant down the street. The room was OK, clean enough and roomy. You could fit a whole family in these rooms--they are like a suite with a couch and kitchenette. Nice place.

The good - amazing view and convenient location. The BAD - towards the of a 5 night stay found BLACK MOLD all along upper ledge of inside window frame, bathroom sink would barely drain, while trying to sit on the couch there was a bar inside the lower back that dug into your lower back and just about had to put your right foot into the bathtub to sit on the toilet. I recently accepted a new job, and my wife and I are in VB house-hunting. I stayed here because it's cheap and on the ocean. Immediately upon walking into our room, I could see why it's so cheap. I was looking for a good price and got a great value! This location has NOTHING BUT ocean view rooms. The bedroom is toward the street and the living room/kitchen (sink, microwave, refrigerator) is overlooking the ocean. If you want to wake up to the sunrise, you can sleep on the pull out sofa. The room could use a deep annual-type cleaning, otherwise the cleanliness was adequate. Also, the heater-A/C units make more noise than I'd like.

Checkin went well. The table in the room was broke so they bought another one but it wasn't a whole lot better. The room was dirty. We used to stay here all the time but it's gone down hill. My husband took pictures of how dirty it was and things that were broke but nobody did anything. Even though it wasn't to expensive I feel We paid to much. The location was good and the room was warm.
